ADAPTIVE ANTENNA TUNING SYSTEM
A radio frequency device has a multifunctional tuner that stores measurements of reflection coefficient parameter in a register. The radio frequency device also has a transceiver that has a transmitter. The transceiver may detect a transmitter signal from the transmitter to an antenna in an initial tuning state and then determine whether the transmitter signal is stable. In response to the transmitter signal being stable, the transceiver may measuring the reflection coefficient parameters at the multifunctional tuner. Furthermore, the radio frequency device has a baseband controller that has a memory to store instructions and a processor to execute the instructions. The instructions cause the processor to determine an antenna impedance based on the reflection coefficient parameters, and in response to determining that the antenna impedance is greater than or less than a threshold antenna impedance, iteratively tune the antenna using the multifunctional tuner.

The impedance adjusting unit is disposed in a radio frequency front end device. The radio frequency front end device includes one or more than one transmission port. The frequency band detection source is selectively coupled to the target transmission port of the one or more than one transmission port for transmitting the scan signals having different frequencies to the target transmission port to detect a corresponding operating frequency band of the target transmission port. The controller is coupled to the impedance adjusting unit for adjusting the impedance adjusting unit according to the measured operating frequency band and making the target transmission port achieve impedance matching at least in the operating frequency band thereof.
HEARING AID WITH AUTOMATIC ANTENNA TUNING
There is provided a hearing aid with an antenna connected to a transmission and/or reception circuit for transmission and/or reception of the electromagnetic energy via the antenna. A coupling circuit, e.g. including a directional coupler, is configured to sense an electric return power from the antenna, and to generate a power signal based on the sensed electric return power. A controllable impedance circuit is connected to the antenna, so as to allow adjusting of impedance of the antenna in at least two different steps. A processor is configured to generate a tuning control signal to the controllable impedance circuit in response to the power signal. This allows control of the impedance of the antenna for minimizing impedance mismatch, and thus improve performance of the antenna by tuning the impedance to the operating conditions of the antenna, preferably in an automatic manner.

The shield layer covers the resin layer and at least part of each of the plurality of transmission filters. At least part of a major surface of each of the plurality of transmission filters on an opposite side to the mounting substrate side is in contact with the shield layer.
Self-tuning method, self-tuning system and mobile terminal
A self-tuning method can be applied to a self-tuning system and a mobile terminal. In the method, an actual performance index value of the self-tuning system in a current use environment is acquired; when it is determined that a difference between the actual performance index value and a preset performance index value in a current use environment is greater than a preset value, the self-tuning system is controlled to perform tuning until the self-tuning system finishes the tuning of all states thereof, so as to obtain a reflection signal corresponding to each of the states; each reflected signal is compared with a radio frequency signal received by the self-tuning system respectively, so as to obtain a comparison result; and a tuning parameter, within a first preset range, corresponding to the comparison result is determined as the tuning parameter of the self-tuning system in the current use environment.

The first transmission power amplifier is disposed on the first principal surface, and the second transmission power amplifier is disposed on the second principal surface.
Closed loop digital pre-distortion
A system and method for calibrating digital pre-distortion in a wireless device. A pre-distortion circuit may output a first training signal while a power amplifier of the wireless device is on, to generate a first feedback signal. The first feedback signal may be fed back to the pre-distortion circuit via a receive path of the wireless device. The pre-distortion circuit may output a second training signal while the power amplifier is off, to generate a second feedback signal. The second feedback signal may be fed back to the pre-distortion circuit via the receive path. The pre-distortion circuit may then determine one or more pre-distortion coefficients based on the first and second feedback signals.
TRANSMITTER, SIGNAL SYNTHESIS CIRCUIT, AND SIGNAL SYNTHESIS METHOD
A multi-bit digital signal that is generated by modulating a baseband signal by a modulation circuit and includes components in a radio frequency band is amplified by switch-mode amplifiers (100-1, 100-2) on a bit-by-bit basis, amplified signals are band-limited by frequency-variable variable band limiting units (201-1, 201-2) and thereafter subjected to voltage-to-current conversion by voltage/current source conversion units (202-1, 202-2) provided with variable capacitances, the signals converted to current are synthesized at a synthesis point X, and a resultant signal is impedance-corrected by an impedance correction unit (203) and output as a transmission signal to an antenna of a load (300). Consequently, the present invention provides a transmitter capable of synthesizing output signals from a plurality of switch-mode amplifiers and transmitting a resultant signal while maintaining an impedance characteristic with respect to a plurality of transmit frequencies without increasing a circuit size.
