CAPTURE AND STORAGE FROM SIGNAL TAP POINTS IN A RADIO
20250085333 · 2025-03-13 ·

A system can comprise a radio unit comprising a digital front end chain. The system can further comprise a tap point disposed within the digital front end chain, wherein the tap point is configured to time align a signal at the tap point with a system time of the radio unit. The system can further comprise a first hardware component that is configured to selectively read the signal at the tap point to produce a read signal. The system can further comprise a second hardware component that is configured to store the read signal.

Method of controlling uplink noise level in multi-RU environment

Provided is a method of controlling an uplink noise level in a multi-radio unit (RU) environment in which each RU measures an ordinary noise level using a power monitoring function thereof when there is no user traffic and then controls an uplink noise level based on the ordinary noise level.

Sensing of antenna connection for remote radio heads

Described are concepts, systems and techniques for detecting whether an impedance mismatch exists at an output port of a remote radio head (RRH) or at an output port of a radio frequency (RF) amplifier in an RRH such as may be caused by a faulty connection between an antenna and a transmit signal path of the RRH. Also described are means for protecting an RF amplifier or other active RF device in the transmit signal path from damage due to such a faulty connection.

Yield rate by calibrating parameters of a radio frequency power amplifier

Implementations disclosed describe techniques and systems for calibrating parameters of a radio frequency power amplifier. The disclosed techniques include, among other things, identifying an initial power amplifier (PA) parameter set of a radio frequency (RF) module. A plurality of candidate PA parameter sets is generated. A set of error values for each of the plurality of candidate PA parameter sets is determined. A subset of the plurality of candidate PA parameter sets is identified. Each error value of the set of error values of each candidate parameter set in the subset satisfies an error threshold. A final PA parameter set is stored.

Method and device for protecting a signal for transmitting a measurement value to a signal processing unit

A method for protecting a signal for transmitting a sequence of measurement values to a signal processing unit. The method includes a step of reading in at least one sequence of measurement values from a sensor and a step of processing the measurement values using a cyclical processing specification in order to determine a varied measurement value for each of at least two measurement values. Finally, the method comprises a step of sending the varied measurement values to the signal processing unit as measurement values from the sensor.
