Integrated radio frequency transceiver
A direct digital radio having a high-speed RF front end in communication with an antenna, and a radio subsystem that can be configured to form a programmable multi-standard transceiver system. The high-speed RF front including RF inputs configured to receive a plurality of radio frequencies (e.g., frequencies between 400 MHz to 7.2 GHz, millimeter wave frequency signals, etc.) and wideband low noise amplifiers provides amplified signals to RF data converters, analog interfaces, digital interfaces, component interfaces, etc. The programmable multi-standard transceiver is operable in frequencies compatible with multiple networks such as private LTE and 5G networks as well as other wireless IoT standards and WiFi in multi-standard network access equipment. The programmable multi-standard transceiver can greatly reduce complexity for the baseband processing, lower the cost of the overall transceiver system, reduce power consumption, and at the same time, benefit from improvements on the digital functions through integration.
COMMUNICATION DEVICE
A communication device according to an embodiment includes an oscillator, a first signal generation circuit, a first insulation element, a first receiving circuit, and a first output circuit. The oscillator is configured to output a first carrier signal when at least one of a plurality of input signals that are externally input is at a first logic level. The first carrier signal and a first input signal among the input signals are input to the first signal generation circuit. The first signal generation circuit is configured to generate a first signal when the first input signal changes from a second logic level to the first logic level, output a first modulated signal based on the first signal, and thereafter output a second modulated signal based on the first carrier signal.
Two-port mixers and systems, receivers, and methods using same
Examples of receivers and receiver techniques are described herein. An example system may include a carrier source that may provide a wireless carrier signal and a wireless communication device, separate from the carrier source. The wireless communication device may provide a wireless communication signal containing data. A receiver may include an antenna positioned to receive the wireless carrier signal and the wireless communication signal, a two-port mixer coupled to the antenna and configured to mix the wireless carrier signal and the wireless communication signal to provide an intermediate frequency signal, and a demodulator configured to extract, at least in part, the data from the intermediate frequency signal.
METHOD FOR TRANSMISSION IN A PLURALITY OF FREQUENCY BANDS BETWEEN TWO NEIGHBOURING DEVICES OF A NETWORK
A method for transmitting data, in the form of messages, in a power line communication network, the method being executed in a first node device of said network configured so as to communicate in a plurality of separate frequency bands with a second node device of said network, the method comprising transmitting a message in a transmission mode using at least two separate frequency bands from among said plurality of separate frequency bands in parallel. It is thus possible to have a wider bandwidth by using various separate frequency bands in parallel. The invention also relates to a communication node device configured so as to execute the abovementioned method.
Switch-less connection for radio-frequency (RF) transceivers
A switch-less transceiver has parallel LC resonances that act as OFF switches and series LC resonances act as ON switches when resonating at the transmit (TX) or receive (RX) frequency. When the transmitter is disabled, no current flows through series LC filters. Instead, series impedances to ground provide an RF ground to the transmitter output node. A TX inductor between the transmitter output node and the antenna is in parallel with a TX blocking capacitor to ground, which together form a parallel resonance to ground that has a high impedance when resonating at the receiver frequency. This high impedance acts as an OFF switch to block antenna signals from entering the transmitter. The two paths are in parallel, presenting a high impedance to the antenna and forming an OFF switch when the receiver is disabled.
Base station and communication method
A base station grants communications of a plurality of wireless communication terminals with the base station without allocating wireless resources upon occurrence of requests for the communications. The base station receives radio signals incoming from the wireless communication terminals and having encoded data, executes a first process of obtaining, from the received radio signals, first signals with at least ones of amplitudes and phases being adjusted, the first signals being incoming from a first wireless communication terminal among the plural wireless communication terminals, a second process of generating replicas of the radio signals incoming from the first wireless communication terminal before at least ones of the amplitudes and the phases are adjusted, a third process of extracting signals given by removing the replicas of the incoming radio signals from the received radio signals, and a process of iterating the first through third processes successively.
FREQUENCY MODULATION CIRCUIT AND TRANSMITTER
A frequency modulation circuit can include: a modulation circuit configured to generate a digital modulation signal and an analog modulation signal according to an input signal of the frequency modulation circuit; and a phase-locked loop having a voltage-controlled oscillator configured to receive a reference frequency, and to modulate a frequency of an output signal of the voltage-controlled oscillator according to the analog modulation signal and the digital modulation signal.
Amplifying apparatus, radar device and amplifying method
An amplifying apparatus is provided, which includes a power-source main line, a plurality of amplifying control devices which include an amplifier, a power-source branch line, an over current protector. The amplifier amplifies a high-frequency signal. The power-source branch line is branched from the power-source main line. The over current protector disposed for the power-source branch line is connected to the amplifier and configured to disconnect the power-source branch line based on drive current flowing through the amplifier from the power-source branch line. The power-source main line is common to the plurality of amplifying control devices.

The digital fingerprint generation method includes inputting an input signal from outside; generating a frequency relationship indication signal between an input signal and a feedback signal; generating a frequency control signal based on the frequency relationship indication signal; generating an intermediate signal based on a frequency control signal and pulse signals; dividing the intermediate signal in frequency to generate the feedback signal; and generating a digital fingerprint based on the input signal and the feedback signal.
Multi-band transmitter
In certain aspects, a method includes receiving a first intermediate frequency (IF) signal and a second IF signal via a common input, upconverting the first IF signal into a first radio frequency (RF) signal, transmitting the first RF signal via a first antenna array, upconverting the second IF signal into a second RF signal, and transmitting the second RF signal via a second antenna array. In a first transit mode, the first RF signal is in a first frequency band and the second RF signal is in a second frequency band, and, in a second transmit mode, the first RF signal and the second RF signal are both in the first frequency band.
