A first wireless node may transmit, to a control node, an indication of a capability of the first wireless node to perform one or more self-interference cancelation (SIC) procedures between a first antenna array of the first wireless node and a second antenna array of the first wireless node. The first wireless node may receive, from the control node in response to the indication of the capability, a configuration for the first wireless node to use to perform a SIC procedure of the one or more SIC procedures for full-duplex communications. The first wireless node may then communicate, according to the received configuration, with the control node, a control node, or any combination thereof, using the first antenna array and the second antenna array.

Methods and systems for signal interference cancellation

A system for canceling signal interference (SI) includes a transceiver configured to concurrently transmit signals and receive signals within a single frequency band, which causes signal interference between the transmitted and received signals. The SI canceller is configured to use a set of cancellation coefficients to generate a cancellation signal to mitigate the SI. The system is configured to iteratively change the cancellation coefficients by a step factor to produce tuned cancellation coefficients. The step factor is determined by a cancellation error gradient and one or more of: a tunable coefficient step aggressiveness factor; and a time-based forgetting factor; and cause the SI canceller to cancel the SI using the tuned cancellation coefficients.

A system for signal detection including a receiver, a transforming block, a noise reduction block, and an object detection block. The receiver is adapted to provide an initial dataset sampled in a time domain over a frequency range. The transforming block is adapted to receive the initial dataset and convert the initial dataset from the time domain to a multi-channel time-frequency domain array. The noise reduction block is adapted to receive the multi-channel time-frequency domain array and provide a clean data set, wherein the clean data set is defined as a noise signal subtracted from the multi-channel time-frequency domain array. The object detection block is adapted to receive the clean dataset and to provide a bounded data set, wherein the bounded data set is defined by a bounding box associated with a portion of the multi-channel time-frequency domain array containing a signal with energy above a threshold level.

Disclosed is an over-the-air (OTA) antenna meter application (“meter app”) that wirelessly connects to an OTA antenna meter (“meter”) installed with an OTA antenna and presents information that facilitates a user in installing the OTA antenna at the premises of a customer. For example, the meter app can help the user in pointing and peaking the OTA antenna for one or more broadcast channels, e.g., those selected by the customer. The meter app can store installation information of the OTA antenna for various installations, which can be used in generating a recommendation of, or predicting, installation information for installing the OTA antenna at a specified address. The predicted installation information can include broadcast channels that would be available for reception at the specified address and their signal strength, a specific location of installation on the premises, or whether a pre-amplifier and/or filter is required.
