APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CANCELLING INTER-CELL INTERFERENCE IN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
The present disclosure relates to an apparatus and method for canceling and/or suppressing inter-cell interference in a wireless communication. The method includes: establishing a Radio Resource Control (RRC) connection with a base station through a first serving cell; receiving, at a User Equipment (UE), an RRC message through the first serving cell, the RRC message comprising cell-specific reference signal (CRS) information of a neighbor cell and Physical Downlink Shared Channel (PDSCH) information of the neighbor cell, and the PDSCH information of the neighbor cell comprising a parameter relating to a power ratio of a CRS of the neighbor cell and a PDSCH of the neighbor cell; receiving the PDSCH through the first serving cell; performing a channel estimation for retrieving data from a PDSCH of the first serving cell; and retrieving the data from the PDSCH of the first serving cell based on the second channel estimation.
Power adjustment to align transmit chain power ratios
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. A wireless communication device may have an apparatus that aligns the non-linearity between transmit chains of the wireless communication device that are driven by the same digital port. The apparatus may adjust an amplification power out or an amplification saturated power to adjust a ratio between the amplification saturated power and the amplification power out for one or more transmit chains of the wireless communication device. The apparatus may adjust the ratios of transmit chains to align the ratios of the transmit chains for more consistent management of non-linear characteristics of the chain components. Numerous other aspects are described.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR REMOVING SELF-INTERFERENCE SIGNAL IN ENVIRONMENT USING FDR MODE
A method for removing a self-interference signal by a device supporting an FDR mode can further comprise the steps of: transmitting a signal to a counterpart node in a predetermined time interval; generating, in an RF stage of the device, a residual self-interference signal after removal of an analog self-interference signal with respect to the signal and then storing same; and receiving from the counterpart node a NACK signal with respect to the transmission of the signal; retransmitting the signal to the counterpart node; and, if decoding of the signal which has been received in the predetermined time interval is successful, using only a part of the stored residual self-interference signal when removing a digital self-interference signal on the basis of the retransmission.
Autonomous beam switch in HAPS coverage
A system, apparatus, method, and non-transitory computer readable medium for providing autonomous beam switching for user equipment (UE) within a cell coverage area of a high-altitude platform station (HAPS) network device, the HAPS network device may be caused the HAPS network device to, determine beam layer information corresponding to the plurality of beam layers; transmit the beam layer information to the at least one UE; receive an autonomous beam switch request from the at least one UE in response to the transmitted beam layer information, the request including beam switch parameters; determine a selected beam layer based on the beam switch parameters; and enable communication with the at least one UE using the selected beam layer.
MONITORING APPARATUS, WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, FAILURE FACTOR DECIDING METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM HAVING PROGRAM STORED THEREON
There are provided a monitoring apparatus, a wireless communication system, a failure factor deciding method and a program which enable a user to take an appropriate countermeasure for a failure factor which has occurred in a wireless communication apparatus which employs space diversity. The monitoring apparatus (1) includes an obtaining unit (12) and a deciding unit (14). The obtaining unit (12) obtains a history related to a received signal level of a first receiver (22) and a received signal level of a second receiver (24) in a predetermined period from a wireless communication apparatus (20) including the first receiver (22) and the second receiver (24). The deciding unit (14) decides a factor of a failure that has occurred in the wireless communication apparatus (20) based on the history.

Enhanced measurement and report configuration for full-duplex operation
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a first wireless node (e.g., a user equipment) may determine one or more measurements associated with a beam search performed during a downlink beam management process. The first wireless node may transmit, to a second wireless node (e.g., a base station), a report that indicates one or more candidate downlink receive beams, candidate uplink transmit beams, or candidate downlink receive and uplink transmit beam pairs suitable for full-duplex operation based at least in part on the one or more measurements. Numerous other aspects are provided.
Techniques for delay reduction and power optimization using a set of antenna modules
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication at a user equipment (UE) are described. A UE may establish a wireless connection with a primary cell and may identify a set of antenna modules of the UE and multiple sets of receive beams. Each set of receive beams may include at least one beam from each antenna module. The UE may perform a measurement procedure on signals received from one or more candidate secondary cells using at least a first set of receive beams. The UE may then transmit, to the primary cell, a measurement report based on performing the measurement procedure upon determining that at least one of the multiple sets of receive beams satisfies a threshold value and before performing the measurement procedure on signals received from the one or more candidate secondary cells using at least one remaining set of receive beams.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR TRANSMISSIONS VIA MULTIPLE BEAMS IN A WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
A method for a wireless communications system is disclosed. In one example, user equipment (UE) (e.g. a mobile phone) receives an indication from a network (for example, by way of a transmission and reception point (TRP)) indicating whether a first transmission and a second transmission to the UE can be combined for decoding. The UE also receives the first transmission via a first UE beam and the second transmission via a second UE beam. The first transmission and the second transmission are received concurrently. The first and second transmissions can arrive via different serving beams and/or different TRPs of the same cell. Based on the indication, the UE combines the first and second transmissions for decoding purposes.
