Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A relay wireless node may receive, during a first transmit time interval (TTI), a data message to be forwarded to a wireless node. The relay wireless node may forward the data message to the wireless node during the first TTI. The relay wireless node may receive, during a second TTI, a feedback message from the wireless node. The relay wireless node may retransmit the feedback message during the second TTI.

Relay selection for cooperative relaying

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. A source user equipment (UE) may transmit, to a relay UE, information identifying that the relay UE is one of a plurality of relay UEs selected for cooperative relaying of a communication from the source UE to a destination UE. A channel between the source UE and the relay UE may be one of a plurality of channels comprising a channel between the source UE and each relay UE of the plurality of relay UEs. The plurality of relay UEs may be selected based at least in part on a degree of correlation of the channel between the source UE and the relay UE with at least one other channel of the plurality of channels. The UE may transmit the communication to the plurality of relay UEs for cooperative relaying to the destination UE. Numerous other aspects are described.

Methods, devices and computer readable medium for communication measurement

Embodiments of the disclosure provide a method, device and computer readable medium for new radio management measurement. According to embodiments of the present disclosure, the network device may transmit collocation information of component carriers to the terminal device. The terminal device may perform communication measurements based on the collocation information. In this way, the measurement effort and burden of the terminal device may be reduced while flexibility of the network deployment is stilled maintained.

Methods and infrastructure equipment

A method of operating a first infrastructure equipment of a wireless communications network comprising a core network part, the first infrastructure equipment, a second infrastructure equipment acting as a backhaul relay node between the first infrastructure equipment and the core network part, and a downstream wireless communications device. The method comprising receiving from the second infrastructure equipment an indication of a first set of communications resources, allocating resource elements of the first set of communications resources for receiving first data for transmission to the core network part from the downstream wireless communications device, and receiving second data transmitted by the second infrastructure equipment on one or more resource elements within a second set of communications resources, the second set of communications resources different from the first set of communications resources.

Control signal design for smart repeater devices

Aspects of the disclosure relate to repeater controlled by a base station. The repeater receives control signaling including control information in association with traffic relayed through the repeater, between a first wireless communication device and a second wireless communication device, the repeater obtains a time division duplex state from the control information, obtains a fronthaul-link transmission control indicator (TCI) state index from the control information, obtains an access-link TCI state index from the control information, obtains a time domain resource allocation from the control information, and configures a relay unit of the repeater to communicate the traffic between the first wireless communication device and the second wireless communication device based the control information comprising at least one of: the time division duplex state, the fronthaul-link TCI state index, the access-link TCI state index, and the time domain resource allocation. The base station sends the control signaling to control the repeater.

Embodiments describe systems, apparatuses, and methods for transmitting/receiving signal data to/from a plurality of transceiver modules. Devices in accordance with some embodiments can include a plurality of wireless transceiver modules, each wireless transceiver module to be communicatively coupled to a corresponding external transceiver mixture, one or more antennas to exchange signal data with the plurality of external transceiver modules, a radio frequency (RF) circulator, and one or more amplifiers to amplify the signal data received by the one or more antennas and signal data to be transmitted by the one or more antennas. The use of the RF circulator prevents transmitting signals that may collide with each other and cause interference with the communications.

REPEATERS CAPABLE OF SIMULTANEOUS REPEATING OPERATION AND POWER DETECTION

A method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided. The apparatus may be a repeater node. The apparatus may receive, at one or more first antennas of the node, a first signal via at least one first beam. The apparatus may measure, at one or more third antennas of the node, at least one of a power or a quality of at least one third beam. The at least one of the power or the quality of the at least one third beam may be measured at a same time as the first signal is received. The apparatus may forward, at one or more second antennas of the node, the first signal via at least one second beam.
