Request to send (RTS) to group within wireless communications
A wireless communication device (alternatively, device) includes a processing circuitry configured to support communications with other wireless communication device(s) and to generate and process signals for such communications. In some examples, the device includes a communication interface and a processing circuitry, among other possible circuitries, components, elements, etc. to support communications with other wireless communication device(s) and to generate and process signals for such communications. A device generates and transmits a request to send (RTS) to group (RTG) frame to other devices. In response to the RTG frame, the device receives clear to send (CTS)(s) from one or more of the other devices and generates and transmits an orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) data frame to those one or more of the other devices based thereon. The RTG frame can include different RTSs transmitted via different channels, sub-channels, sub-carriers, etc. to the different other devices.
V2X communication apparatus and method for transmitting/receiving multimedia content thereby
Disclosed is a method for receiving a multimedia content message by a vehicle to everything (V2X) communication apparatus. A method for receiving a multimedia content message by a vehicle to everything (V2X) communication apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: receiving a multimedia content message; parsing the multimedia content message; and acquiring a multimedia content included in the multimedia content message or a content segment which is a part of the multimedia content.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR TRANSMITTING BUFFER STATUS REPORT
This application relates to the field of communications technologies, and discloses a method and an apparatus for transmitting a buffer status report, to help enhance mobility management on a terminal. The method may include: receiving, by a terminal, an instruction message, where the instruction message is used to instruct the terminal to report a BSR, the BSR includes at least one of a first BSR and a second BSR, the first BSR is a BSR corresponding to a first beam link, and the second BSR is a BSR corresponding to a second beam link; and then, reporting, by the terminal, the BSR on the first beam link according to the instruction message.
TRIGGER FRAME DESIGN FOR SHORT FEEDBACK
Methods and apparatus are described by which a wireless station transmits information to an access point in response to a short feedback request. The response to the short feedback request is transmitted as either energy or lack thereof in one or more long training fields transmitted in a preamble of a physical layer packet. Short feedback trigger frames for requesting the short feedback are also described.
MAC LAYER COMMUNICATION FOR PARALLEL RANDOM ACCESS PROCEDURES OF DUAL CONNECTIVITY
The present invention relates to MAC layer communication for parallel random access procedures of dual connectivity. In this scheme, a first MAC entity of a user equipment informs the initiation of the first random access procedure to a second MAC entity of the UE; and informs the completion of the first random access procedure to the second MAC entity, when the first random access procedure is finished
Method for operating in power-save mode in wireless LAN system and apparatus for method
A method for a station (STA), which supports a high efficiency physical layer protocol data unit (HE PPDU), for operating in a power-save (PS) mode in a wireless LAN system according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: receiving a PPDU; decoding at least a part of the PPDU; and operating in a doze state until the end of the PPDU on the basis of the result of decoding at least a part of the PPDU, wherein if the PPDU is configured as a very high throughput (VHT) PPDU, which is a legacy format compared to the HE PPDU, and the VHT PPDU is determined to be an uplink frame transmitted to an access point (AP) by another STA belonging to the same basic service set (BSS) as the STA, then the STA can operate in a doze state until the end of the PPDU.
Preferential beamforming for relay wireless devices
Systems, methods, and processing nodes for selecting a relay wireless device for beamforming with a beamforming-capable access node. In certain instances, the relay wireless device may be prioritized over end-user wireless devices for beamform activation, particularly when there are more wireless devices meeting the beamforming criteria of a donor access node than available beamform seats.
CLEAR CHANNEL ASSESSMENT
A radio receiver is arranged to receive radio signals. The radio receiver includes a tuner, which outputs an electronic signal representing radio waves received by the radio receiver; a correlator, which cross-correlates a predetermined signal pattern with the electronic signal, and outputs a correlation signal; and a clear channel assessment module. The clear channel assessment module determines when the number of peaks in the correlation signal, over a fixed time window, exceeds a threshold count value, and outputs a busy signal in response to determining that the number of peaks exceeds the threshold count value.
Method and user device for transceiving data in next generation mobile communication system
A disclosure of the present specification provides a method for transceiving data in a next generation mobile communication system. The method may comprise a step of receiving system information from a base station. The system information may comprise: system band information; information regarding a first uplink center frequency and a second uplink center frequency for an uplink band within the system band; and information regarding a first downlink center frequency and a second downlink center frequency for a downlink band within the system band. The method may comprise: a step of receiving, from the base station, a control signal to change the downlink band to a second downlink center frequency; and a step of tuning a radio frequency (RF) unit in order to switch the downlink band from the first downlink center frequency to the second downlink center frequency.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR TRANSMITTING AND RECEIVING DATA USING A PLURALITY OF CARRIERS IN MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
A bearer reconfiguration method performed by a User Equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system supporting a multi-bearer is provided. The bearer reconfiguration method includes, if the UE performs a bearer reconfiguration from a single bearer to the multi-bearer, reordering Packet Data Convergence Protocol (PDCP) Protocol Data Units (PDUs) received through the multi-bearer, using a timer after a completion of the bearer reconfiguration, and processing the reordered PDCP PDUs into at least one PDCP Service Data Unit (SDU). The method may also include, if the UE performs bearer reconfiguration from the multi-bearer to the single bearer, reordering PDCP PDUs received through the multi-bearer, using a timer until a predetermined condition is satisfied, and processing the reordered PDCP PDUs into at least one PDCP SDU.
