WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, BASE STATION CONTROL DEVICE, EVACUATION GUIDANCE METHOD, AND BASE STATION CONTROL PROGRAM
An object of the present disclosure is to inform a user of a safe evacuation guidance route in real time using smart lightings without deploying dedicated evacuation guidance facilities.
The present disclosure is a wireless communication system including: one or more wireless base stations that wirelessly communicate with a terminal; a plurality of optical base stations that transmit an optical signal to the terminal; and a base station control device that controls the optical signal transmitted by the optical base stations, wherein the base station control device collects environment information around the optical base stations, detects a disaster around the optical base stations using the collected environment information, and when detecting a disaster, causes the optical base station installed at a position close to a disaster occurrence location and the optical base station installed at a position far from the disaster occurrence location to output light of different colors.
Method for linear encoding of signals for the redundant transmission of data via multiple optical channels
A method for the redundant transmission of data by means of light-based communication may include a data stream to be transmitted that is converted into symbols. This data stream is converted from bipolar symbols into multiple partial data streams having e.g. unipolar-positive symbols. The partial data streams are converted into multiple semi-redundant signals that are then transmitted to the receiver via multiple light-based channels. In the receiver, the received signals are converted back again analogously to when they were sent, in order to obtain the original data stream again.
Method, device and computer program for transmitting and obtaining network credentials
Arrangements for transmitting network credentials from a user device to a second device to enable the second device to connect to a network are disclosed. At the user device, a user inputs network credentials for the second device to enable the second device to connect to a network. The user device transmits modulated light to the second device. The light is modulated so that the transmitted light is encoded with the network credentials. The second device has a photo sensor for receiving the modulated light from the user device and a processor for processing the modulated light to obtain the network credentials from the received modulated light.

Communication techniques
Techniques (e.g., method, apparatuses, etc.) for permitting communications, e.g., optical communications are described. In one example, a first communication apparatus may send a bit allocation table, BAT, message, to a second communication apparatus. The BAT update information has a BAT update information signalling update information for updating a BAT which is signalled to be updated. The BAT update information groups information into different groups of subcarriers, wherein the BAT update information has, for each group of subcarriers, information indicating the number of carriers in the group.
Cockpit and cabin LiFi power and data
Embodiments are directed to systems and methods for utilizing aircraft cockpit and cabin lighting to provide both power and data transmission to occupants. Data and power may be transmitted on non-visible and/or visible spectrums. The visible light may be used independently for aircraft illumination. Data for the cockpit allows for quick upload and download of flight planning and maintenance data to an electronic flight bag. The electronic flight bag may also be able to receive power from cockpit and cabin lighting during flight.
Lighting control system
Intelligent illumination device are disclosed that use components in an LED light to perform one or more of a wide variety of desirable lighting functions for very low cost. The LEDs that produce light can be periodically turned off momentarily, for example, for a duration that the human eye cannot perceive, in order for the light to receive commands optically. The optically transmitted commands can be sent to the light, for example, using a remove control device. The illumination device can use the LEDs that are currently off to receive the data and then configure the light accordingly, or to measure light. Such light can be ambient light for a photosensor function, or light from other LEDs in the illumination device to adjust the color mix.

COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, TERMINAL, CONTROL METHOD, AND RECORDING MEDIUM
A communication system includes: a plurality of cameras that generate image data by capturing images; a server that stores the image data generated by each of the plurality of cameras; and a plurality of transmission devices in one-to-one correspondence with the plurality of cameras. Each of the plurality of transmission devices transmits light, including, as a visible light communication signal, information related to communication for accessing a storage location at which the image data generated by a corresponding one of the plurality of cameras is stored in the server.
