The appliance for the switching of radiofrequency signals comprises a first port and a second port connectable along a transmission/receiving line of a radiofrequency communication system, a third port connectable to a monitoring appliance of radiofrequency signals and at least a switching circuit which is able to switch between: a monitoring configuration, wherein the first port and the second port are connected together for the transmission/receiving of signals along the transmission/receiving line and wherein the signals are in part taken and sent to the third port for the analysis by means of the monitoring appliance;
a test configuration, wherein the third port and the second port are connected together for sending at least a predefined test signal from the monitoring appliance to the transmission/receiving line.

Configuring the zone served by a base station providing wireless communication
Methods and apparatuses for configuring the zone served by a base station providing wireless communication for a plurality of user equipment located in moving vehicles are disclosed. Motion reports are received from the user equipment, indicating a current location, a current direction of motion, and a current speed of the moving vehicles. The motion reports are received from at least one of: user equipment currently using the base station for wireless communication; user equipment currently within the zone served by the base station, but not using the base station for wireless communication; and/or user equipment currently using at least one neighbouring base station to the base station for wireless communication. A configuration for the zone served by the base station is then determined, based on the motion reports and on locations of the base station and of the at least one neighbouring base station. The configuration for the zone served by the base station is then applied to the base station.

Methods and apparatuses for configuring the zone served by a base station providing wireless communication for a plurality of user equipment located in moving vehicles are disclosed. Motion reports are received from the user equipment, indicating a current location, a current direction of motion, and a current speed of the moving vehicles. The motion reports are received from at least one of: user equipment currently using the base station for wireless communication; user equipment currently within the zone served by the base station, but not using the base station for wireless communication; and/or user equipment currently using at least one neighbouring base station to the base station for wireless communication. A configuration for the zone served by the base station is then determined, based on the motion reports and on locations of the base station and of the at least one neighbouring base station. The configuration for the zone served by the base station is then applied to the base station.
MOBILE COMMUNICATION TEST DEVICE AND A CORRESPONDING METHOD
A mobile communication test device for testing a mobile user equipment comprises a number of transmit-receive units with a signal generator, wherein the signal generator of at least one transmit-receive unit generates test signals, which rep-resent at least two different communication partners of the mobile user equipment, a number of test interfaces, which connect the transmit-receive units with the mobile user equipment and transmit the test signals to the mobile user equipment, and a test processor, which analyses the reaction of the mobile user equipment to the transmitted test signals based on a predefined test specification.
Method and Arrangement for Multi Band Communication
Herein a Radio Access node for multi band communication and a method therein are described. The Radio Access node is configured for communication with at least one wireless device in a first frequency band. The method comprises performing at least one measurement in a second frequency band, by use of a feedback receiver. The at least one measurement is performed in order to detect signals, in the second frequency band, produced by other entities than the Radio Access node. The feedback receiver is also operable to measure signals transmitted by the Radio Access node.
Antenna connection detection method and apparatus
An antenna connection detection method and apparatus are provided, to detect whether a connection sequence between communications interfaces of a network side device and antenna elements is incorrect. The method includes that a network side device receives, by using antenna elements connected to a plurality of communications interfaces, reference signals sent by N terminal devices, where N is an integer greater than 0. Then, the network side device determines N channel correlation matrices based on the reference signals sent by the N terminal devices, and then determines, based on the N channel correlation matrices and a preset channel correlation matrix, whether a connection sequence between the plurality of communications interfaces and the antenna elements is incorrect, where one channel correlation matrix is used to represent correlation between transmission channels between the network side device and one terminal device.
Network diagnostic system for analyzing performance of a radio network during functional over-the-air operation
An apparatus determining network health in a network comprising base station transceivers in bidirectional communication with radios, each having an identifier and transmitting a signal including the identifier. First and second devices each receive the transmitted signal during normal over-the-air operation of the radio, measure signal parameters, and determine operating characteristics of the radio from the parameters. Each of the devices produce a responsive received signal when the first operating characteristics determined by the first device indicate a healthy first radio and the second device produces a responsive received signal when the second operating characteristics determined by the second device indicate a healthy first radio. The devices determine respective signal parameters of the respective received signals. The received signals are time aligned to insure that the devices have determined the respective signal parameters of the same transmitted signal. Network health is indicated by the first and second operating characteristics.
TECHNIQUES FOR RF TRANSCEIVER SELF-CALIBRATION
Various aspects described herein relate to calibrating transceiver impairment in wireless communications. Direct current (DC) components of one or more signals can be modified, using one or more configured DC components, for transmitting to a user equipment (UE) via a transmitter. A receiver can receive the one or more signals as transmitted via the transmitter. An impairment of at least one of the transmitter, the receiver, or a combination thereof, can be determined based at least in part on comparing the DC components of the one or more signals as received via the receiver to the one or more configured DC components. One or more components of at least one of the transmitter, the receiver, or a combination thereof can be adjusted to compensate for the impairment.
Device and method for determination of whether a frame is a management frame or a data frame
A device comprising at least one hardware processor obtains a bandwidth for a communication from a station in a wireless network and a signal strength for the communication from the station, and determines that the communication is a communication related to network maintenance in case the bandwidth is below a first value and an expected bandwidth based on the signal strength is above a second value, and that the communication is a data communication in case the bandwidth is below the first value and the signal strength is below the second value, in case the communication is a data communication, the at least one hardware processor can determine that the station is active.
