METHODS AND APPARATUS TO PERFORM AUDIO WATERMARKING AND WATERMARK DETECTION AND EXTRACTION
Example methods and apparatus to audio watermarking and watermark detection and extraction are disclosed herein. An example apparatus disclosed herein includes memory, computer readable instructions, and processor circuitry to execute the computer readable instructions to at least detect a first symbol, a second symbol, a third symbol, and a fourth symbol sequentially in encoded audio samples, determine whether the first symbol is a synchronization symbol, in response to a determination that the first symbol is a synchronization symbol, determine that the first symbol and the third symbol are associated with a first message and the second symbol and the fourth symbol are associated with a second message, and output at least one of the first message or the second message.
AUDIO WATERMARKING SYSTEM AND PROCESSES
An audio watermarking system and processes are disclosed. A process includes steps for assigning an audio watermarking plug-in tool to a master channel of an audio content project in a digital audio workstation software application, editing the audio content project, and saving the watermarked audio content. Another process includes steps for assigning an audio watermarking plug-in tool to a master channel of an audio content project in a digital audio workstation software application, editing the audio content project, saving the watermarked audio content, sharing the watermarked audio content, and automatically saving the watermarked audio content in an audio content database connected to a server computer. A cloud-network audio watermarking system includes at least one digital audio workstation computing device, a set of client computing devices for playback of watermarked audio content, an audio watermarking server, and a watermarked audio content database.
Methods and apparatus to perform audio watermarking and watermark detection and extraction
Methods and apparatus to audio watermarking and watermark detection and extracted are described herein. An example method includes receiving a media content signal, sampling the media content signal to generate samples, storing the samples in a buffer, determining a first sequence of samples in the buffer, determining a second sequence of samples in the buffer, wherein the second sequence of samples is of substantially equal length as the first sequence of samples, calculating an average of the first sequence of samples and the second sequence of samples to generate an average sequence of samples, extracting an identifier from the average sequence of samples, and storing the identifier in a tangible memory.

ACR-based radio metadata in the cloud
A system comprises a first server including a port, a memory, a processor operatively coupled to the port and memory, and a service application for execution by the processor. The service application is configured to: receive identification information related to an over-the-air radio broadcast via the port of the first server, wherein the identification information is transmitted to the first server using a radio broadcast receiver remote from the first server; communicate a request for automatic content recognition (ACR) of an Internet-based streaming version of the over-the-air radio broadcast; and receive metadata associated with the over-the-air radio broadcast in response to the request and initiate transmission of the metadata to the radio broadcast receiver.
Optimizing parameters in deployed systems operating in delayed feedback real world environments
Optimizing parameters includes, during a time interval, rotating from setting a first parameter to a first value for a first time period, to setting the first parameter to a second value for a second time period such that the time interval includes multiple first time periods in which the first parameter is set to the first value sequenced with multiple second time periods in which the first parameter is set to the second value; obtaining, for the time interval, a first set of ratings corresponding to the first time periods and a second set of ratings corresponding to the second time periods; averaging, for the time interval, the first set of ratings to a first average rating and the second set of ratings to a second average rating; and correlating the first average rating to the first value and the second average rating to the second value.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR GENERATING MULTIMEDIA ACCOMPANIMENTS TO BROADCAST DATA
A method and system is presented for coordinating the transmission of supplemental digital data to accompany broadcast data, and in particular, analog radio broadcasts, among a plurality of broadcasters. The supplemental digital data may provide information about the particular broadcast data being transmitted (i.e. cut data) or may be supplemental to such data (i.e. news, weather and traffic data). The supplemental digital data to be presented is sorted based on particular algorithms which may take into account broadcaster-specified criteria such as target audience, time of day, type of broadcast data presented, and the like. The supplemental digital data may be audio data, visual data, or audio-visual data for presentation with the broadcast data. The supplemental digital data may further be advertisement data. The advertisement data may be sold by the broadcasters or the party coordinating the IBOC transmission of the supplemental digital data. The supplemental digital data may play simultaneously with muted broadcast data or at a user-specified time.
