DEVICE AND METHOD FOR PROCESSING HIGH-DEFINITION 360-DEGREE VR IMAGE
Disclosed is an apparatus and method of providing a high quality 360-degree VR image. A method of decoding a 360-degree VR image according to the present disclosure includes: receiving a bit stream including 360-degree VR image information; decoding information related to a 360-degree VR service from the bitstream; detecting a region of interest based on the information related to the 360-degree VR service; and providing to a user a 360-degree VR image for the region of interest.
Method and a system for use in a satellite communications system
A method and a system are provided for use in a satellite communications network in which broadcasting services are provided to a mobile terminal. The method comprises: duplicating bits comprised in communications which the satellite is about to broadcast, thereby forming a first stream of bits and a second stream of bits; conveying the first stream of bits in an encoded form along a satellite channel whereas the second stream of bits is conveyed in an encoded form along a terrestrial channel; and combining bits conveyed along the satellite channel with bits conveyed along the terrestrial channel in order to obtain a combined stream of bits.

Audio processor apparatus, methods and computer program products using integrated diversity delay error compensation
An audio processor includes a detector configured to determine a correlation of first and second data corresponding to an analog FM component and an HD FM component, respectively, of a broadcast RF signal. A signal processor is configured to receive an input audio signal, to generate an analog FM audio signal and an HD FM audio signal therefrom and to control a relative timing of the analog FM audio signal and the HD FM audio signal based on the determined correlation. The signal processor may include a multiband limiter configured to generate a multiband limited audio signal responsive to the input audio signal, an HD FM audio processor configured to generate the HD FM audio signal responsive to the multiband limited audio signal, and an analog FM audio processor configured to generate the analog FM audio signal responsive to the multiband limited audio signal and to delay the analog FM audio signal responsive to the timing control signal.

ACR-based radio metadata in the cloud
A system comprises a first server including a port, a memory, a processor operatively coupled to the port and memory, and a service application for execution by the processor. The service application is configured to: receive identification information related to an over-the-air radio broadcast via the port of the first server, wherein the identification information is transmitted to the first server using a radio broadcast receiver remote from the first server, communicate a request for automatic content recognition (ACR) of an Internet-based streaming version of the over-the-air radio broadcast; and receive metadata associated with the over-the-air radio broadcast in response to the request and initiate transmission of the metadata to the radio broadcast receiver.
Geometric radio transmission system and method for broadcasting audio to a live audience
A system and method for transmitting the audio component of a performance, such as a movie, to audience members located in the listening area of a venue, such as a movie theater, to improve the quality of the audio experience and reduce problems with other noise activity interfering with the performance. The system and method use the location of the occupied seats, geometry of the venue and the audience density to produce a structured operating envelope that is utilized to more efficiently and effectively broadcast an audio signal, which comprises the audio component of the performance, to individual audience members. The audio signal is received by a smart phone or other electronic device associated with one or more audience members. The audio component is transferred to headphones, ear buds or other devices worn by an audience member and connected, wired or wirelessly, to the electronic device.

Broadcast Processing Method, Non-Transitory Storage Medium, and Electronic Device
A method for broadcast processing, a non-transitory storage medium and an electronic device are provided. The method includes: acquiring a currently-sending broadcast message in a broadcast queue; determining a type of the broadcast message; and calling an interface configured to send the broadcast message and sending the broadcast message to a corresponding broadcast receiver.
BROADCAST-CONTROLLING METHOD IN OPERATING SYSTEM AND MOBILE TERMINAL
A broadcast-controlling method in an operating system and a mobile terminal are provided. The broadcast-controlling method includes obtaining a number of broadcast types registered by a first application, wherein the first application receives broadcast messages according to the registered broadcast types; determining whether the number of broadcast types is greater than a first threshold; determining the first application as an illegal broadcast-registering application when the number of broadcast types is greater than the first threshold; obtaining a receiver queue of a target broadcast; and optimizing the receiver queue according to determined illegal broadcast-registering applications.
