A selection indication of an added new media stream can be provided. Adding a new media stream can include displaying a graphical animation that adds a graphical element associated with the new media stream to the group of graphical elements on the graphical interface.

An example method may include determining an available bandwidth between the source device and the destination device. The example method may also include determining a bit rate for streaming audio from the source device to the destination device, wherein the bit rate is based on the available bandwidth. The example method may further include determining a preferred audio characteristic for streaming audio from the source device to the destination device, wherein the preferred audio characteristic is based on a user preference. The example method may also include determining encoded audio to be transmitted from the source device to the destination device based on the preferred audio characteristic and the bit rate.

Method and apparatus for distribution of media content via multiple access technologies

Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a cost-efficient wireless framework for delivering TV services (e.g., live TV services). The wireless framework can include a mix of wireless access technologies (e.g. Satellite, WiFi and/or LTE overlay links). TV content (e.g., live TV content) can be injected into the network at a few locations (e.g., residential locations) using satellite antennas (e.g., satellite dishes). The content can then be further distributed to other homes using a house-to-house WiFi network and/or via an overlay LTE network. Other embodiments are disclosed.
