A server system accesses a profile of a user of the media-providing service. The profile indicates a demographic group of the user. For each track of a plurality of tracks, the server system determines a year associated with the track. The server system selects content for the user based at least in part on an affinity of members of the demographic group, as compared to members of other demographic groups, of music from the year associated with the track. The server system provides the selected content to a client device associated with the user.

In one exemplary embodiments, a user terminal device cooperates with a server and a camera device in a live broadcast system. The terminal device turns towards the camera device and outputs detection content within a detection time. It can be determined whether live broadcast content uploaded/captured by the camera device includes the detection content captured by the camera device within the detection time. If the detection content is found in the live broadcast content, it can be determined that unauthorized live broadcasting exists. Accordingly, corresponding measures can be taken to stop the unauthorized live broadcasting in a timely manner, which helps improve the security of user information.

Techniques are described for expanding and/or improving the Advanced Television Systems Committee (ATSC) 3.0 television protocol in robustly delivering the next generation broadcast television services. Broadcaster non-real time (NRT) data packets are downloaded into RAM memory first and then saved to disk once the complete NRT package is in RAM. Old saved NRT data is retained until channel change with new NRT data, at which point old NRT data may be deleted before starting to save the new oncoming NRT data. Old NRT data may be deleted only when the new oncoming NRT data is not the same as the old.

Enhanced radio systems and methods
An enhanced radio system is disclosed that provides for the capture and playback of one or more radio stations. A user may tune to a station, scan through stations, rewind through missed content (even while the system is off), and fast-forward through undesired content, while downloading and uploading audio content, and sending content to another user. A user may rate content, and be notified when that content is played on any station, with undesirable content skipped and desirable content saved, or station recommendations made. Support for multiple sets of configuration information to allow use by multiple listeners and in multiple locations may be provided. Optionally provided are security features to prevent the unauthorized downloading, uploading, and saving of copies of content, other radio related and content related information, a karaoke mode, integration with a telephone with the radio, or reporting usage information to a collection facility.
