REFERENCE SIGNAL FOR REMOTE INTERFERENCE MANAGEMENT
Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for remote interference mitigation between base stations using reference signals. Certain aspects provide a method for wireless communication by a first base station (BS). The method includes receiving a reference signal (RS) from a second BS. The method further includes performing interference measurement corresponding to interference from the second BS based on the RS being associated with the second BS.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MEASURING REMOTE CROSS-LINK INTERFERENCE
A method by which a first base station removes remote cross-link interference (CLI) can comprise: detecting the occurrence of a remote CLI; broadcasting a first reference signal including information on the first base station, on the basis of the detection of the occurrence of the remote CLI; obtaining information on a second base station; and determining that the remote CLI occurs, based on the information on the second base station. The first base station broadcasts the first reference signal, and the second base station, having received the first reference signal, can determine whether the occurrence of the remote CLI of the first base station is caused, based on the first reference signal.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MINIMIZING INTERFERENCE CAUSED BY HAPS THAT PROVIDE COMMUNICATIONS SERVICES
A method and an apparatus are provided for minimizing interference caused by a plurality of high-altitude platforms (HAPs) configured for operation in the stratosphere. At least one receiver in a node receives information including a plurality of parameters associated with the HAPs and areas on the ground to which HAPs provide communication services. At least one processor analyzes the information to determine at least one of time symbol offsets and physical cell identifies (PCIs) for each of the HAPs to provide the communication services with minimal interference. At least one transmitter transmits command signals including setting instructions with regard to at least one of time symbol offsets and PCIs the HAPs should use to minimize interference while providing communication services.
Method and apparatus for increasing performance of communication paths for communication nodes
A system that incorporates aspects of the subject disclosure may perform operations including, for example, obtaining uplink information associated with a plurality of communication devices transmitting wireless signals on a plurality of uplink paths, performing, based on the uplink information, a plurality of measurements of the plurality of uplink paths, identifying a measurement from the plurality of measurements that is below a threshold, and initiating a corrective action to improve a measurement of an affected uplink path of the plurality of uplink paths based on the identifying. Other embodiments are disclosed.
Beamforming in Wireless Communications
Methods, apparatus, and systems for wireless communications are disclosed. A first base station may receive one or more message from a second base station. The messages may include downlink beamforming information elements for a downlink cell. Each downlink beamforming information element may be associated with a respective group of resource blocks of a plurality of groups of resource blocks in the downlink cell. The first base station may select a first beamforming codeword for at least one group of resource blocks of the plurality of groups of resource blocks based on the downlink beamforming information associated with the at least one group of resource blocks. The first base station may transmit, to a wireless device, signals on the at least one group of resource blocks employing the first beamforming codeword.
Beamforming in Wireless Communications
Aspects described herein relate to wireless communications. According to some aspects, a first base station may coordinate with a second base station to select beamforming codewords. The first base station may receive an index indicating beamforming codewords used by a second base station. The first base station may select a beamforming codeword for use in transmitting signals to a wireless device based on the beamforming codeword indicated by the second base station.
Moving cellular communication system operative in an emergency mode
A method operative in conjunction with a cellular communication network having a core element and comprising providing moving relays including base and mobile station functionality and a relay resource manager, all co-located, including providing an emergency moving relay from among the moving relays further including a simulated stationary network that includes a simulated IP connectivity gateway communicating with a simulated mobility management entity. The simulated stationary network simulates a stationary network's operation; the emergency moving relay being a root of a sub tree that includes moving relays and mobile stations, and is configured to utilize its mobile and base station functionalities and relay resource manager for operating in: (i) normal mode: emergency moving relay communicates with other relays in the network and with the stationary network; (ii) emergency mode, including, in response to an emergency event, finding new networks to connect to.
ATMOSPHERIC CHANNEL-DRIVEN INTERFERENCE HANDLING
There is disclosed a method of operating a network node in a radio access network. The method includes operating on a carrier based on a received BS-to-BS interference indication. The disclosure also pertains to related devices and methods.
Mitigating interference between neighboring cellular communications
This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatus for reducing or avoiding interference between communications of one base station-user equipment pair and communications of another base station-user equipment pair. A first user equipment can monitor a timing offset between the communications and send the timing offset to a first base station that services the first user equipment. The first base station time advances a window of time during which it receives uplink signals from the first user equipment. The base station also sends a time advance value and instructions to the first user equipment to advance a window of time during which the first user equipment transmits uplink signals to the first base station. The timing advance value is based on the timing offset value determined by the first user equipment. Thus, a gap period between uplink and downlink windows is increased, thereby reducing interference.
MINIMIZATION OF BASE STATION TO BASE STATION INTERFERENCE IN TDD NETWORKS
Methods and apparatuses are disclosed for minimization of network node to network node interference in Time Division Duplex (TDD) network. According to one embodiment, a method in a network node for re-mote interference management includes receiving information indicating a position for a reference signal within a communication signal slot, the position being indicated being indicated relative to a reference point associated with a downlink-to-uplink switch; at least one of transmitting the reference signal and receiving the reference signal based at least in part on the received information; and determining whether remote interference is present based at least in part on at least one of the received reference signal and the received information indicating the position of the reference signal.
