Method for receiving signal using interference removal scheme and apparatus for same in wireless communication system
The present invention relates to a method by which a terminal receives a downlink signal from a base station in a wireless communication system. In detail, the method includes the steps of: receiving information about resource elements for interference channel estimation from an adjacent base station; estimating the interference channel from the adjacent base station using the resource elements for the interference channel estimation; and applying reception beam forming to avoid the interference channel and receive the downlink signal from the base station, wherein the downlink signal is not mapped to the resource elements for the interference channel estimation.
Uplink interference management in time division duplex (TDD) network systems
A system is provided. The system includes a plurality of network nodes for operating in a Time Division Duplex, TDD, network. The plurality of network nodes includes at least a network node and a first neighbor network node. The network node includes a node processor and node memory. The node memory contains instructions executable by the node processor. The first network node is configured to detect interference caused by the first neighbor network node in at least one uplink, UL, subframe, and determine a potential reason for the interference caused by the first neighbor network node.
Techniques to reduce base station to base station interference in semi-synchronous time division duplex operations
Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for interference mitigation. An exemplary method performed by a base station generally includes determining, based on a location of another base station and information regarding the other base station, that the other base station is likely to experience interference while receiving an uplink transmission due to a downlink transmission by the base station and forming a null in a beam of the downlink transmission in a direction matching the location of the other base station.
Methods, systems and devices to improve channel utilization
A method that incorporates aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, obtaining, by a system comprising a processor, interference information associated with one or more physical resource blocks (PRBs) from each base station of a plurality of base stations. Further, the method can include determining, by the system, from the interference information a strategy for improving a PRB utilization of a first base station of the plurality of base stations. In addition, the method can include conveying, by the system, the strategy to at least one base station of the plurality of base stations. Other embodiments are disclosed.
Method and apparatus for measurement for inter-cell interference coordination in radio communication system
A user equipment, base station and method for performing a measurement in a wireless communication system are discussed. The method according to one embodiment includes receiving, from a first base station, information indicating a resource region for performing the measurement; performing the measurement for the resource region; and transmitting, to the first base station, a report for the measurement. The resource region is determined as a combination of at least one orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbol and at least one downlink subframe.
Methods and apparatus for reducing interference in a heterogeneous network
Certain aspects relate to methods and apparatus for reducing interference in a heterogeneous network. Certain aspects relate to methods and apparatus for delinking downlink and uplink resource partitioning in a heterogeneous network. In aspects, the delinking is accomplished by reliably delivering uplink grant to a UE, e.g., pico UE in a pico CRE region, without using downlink Almost Blank Subframe (ABS) resources in which an interfering cell limits transmission to reduce interference to other victim cells. In techniques, instead of using the regular PDCCH sent in downlink ABS resources for uplink grant transmission, the uplink grant is sent on another more reliable downlink control channel using resources configured to avoid interference with transmissions from an interfering base station. In techniques, the DL grant is sent on PDCCH in non-downlink ABS resources, but the UE employs enhanced UE capabilities (e.g., interference cancellation) to process the received control information.
Waveform optimization of peak-to-average power ratio with inter-cell coordination
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. An interfering base station may transmit to a neighboring base station a configuration to measure beam resources for a plurality of PAPR reduction beams. The neighboring base station may forward this measurement configuration to an associated UE. The UE may then take measurements of the interfering base station's PAPR reduction beams in accordance with the configuration and transmit the report to its serving base station. The neighboring base station may then compile a headroom report and transmit the headroom report to the interfering base station. The interfering base station may then adjust its PAPR reduction beams based on the headroom report.
REMOTE INTERFERENCE MANAGEMENT DESIGN
Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for performing remote interference management. In certain embodiments, a method includes detecting interference from one or more aggressor BSs. The method further includes transmitting distinguishable victim reference signals (RSs). The method further includes. The method further includes monitoring for distinguishable aggressor RSs from the aggressor BSs. The method further includes determining to stop transmitting one or more of the distinguishable victim RSs based on the monitoring.
ATMOSPHERIC DUCT INTERFERENCE ELIMAMATING SCHEME
Embodiments of this application disclose a communication method and apparatus. The method includes: After determining that a first base station is affected by atmospheric duct interference from a second base station, the first base station sends first information to the second base station through a core network, to notify the first base station that the first base station causes atmospheric duct interference to the second base station. After determining that the first base station is affected by the atmospheric duct interference from the second base station, the first base station notifies the second base station in a wired link manner, and specifically, may send the first information to the second base station through the core network.
Offloading of controlling across access nodes
Inter-cell interference can be reduced by re-assigning uplink scheduling responsibilities for a user equipment (UE) from a controller associated with a serving access point (AP) to a controller associated with a neighboring AP, as the controller associated with the neighboring AP may have better access to channel information corresponding to interference experienced by the neighboring AP as a result of uplink transmissions from the UE. After the re-assignment, the controller associated with the neighboring AP may independently schedule an uplink transmission parameter (e.g., a transmit power level, a modulation coding scheme level and/or a precoder) of the UE in a manner that mitigates inter-cell-interference in the neighboring cell.
