Method and apparatus for communication link adaptation for interference-canceling receivers
Network-side and device-side methods and apparatuses improve transmit link adaptation for devices operating in a cellular network that have interference-canceling receivers. Own-cell link adaptation towards a device in a current transmission interval exploits a determined mapping between the interfering-signal cancelation efficiency of the device versus the interfering-signal transport format, in combination with actual knowledge of the transport format that will be used to make an interfering neighbor-cell transmission in the current transmission interval. For example, a serving radio node uses the known transport format of the interfering transmission, to accurately determine the expected cancellation efficiency for the device with respect to the interfering transmission, and uses the expected cancellation efficiency to obtain a more accurate estimate of the own-cell channel quality expected for the device in the current transmission interval. Link adaptation towards the device in the current transmission interval uses this more accurate estimate of own-cell channel quality.

The method includes receiving, by a receiver, data from a transmitter, storing the data in the receiver, and determining, by the receiver, a probability of a bit stored in the data and a probability of a symbol based on the probability of the bit, wherein determining the probability of the bit includes moving a decision boundary associated with a constellation diagram.
Signaling in a Wireless Network
Methods, apparatus, and systems for wireless communications are described. Example methods, devices, and systems are described that utilize a precoding matrix indicator (PMI) computed based at least in part on first signals received via a first cell and on second signals received via a second cell. Information in a measurement information message may be used as part of computing a PMI. The measurement information message may indicate resources of a first cell and a second cell for use in computing the PMI. A wireless device may receive first signals via the first cell and second signals via the second cell based on information in the measurement information message, and may use these signals to compute the PMI. The computed PMI may be used in communications with a base station. For example, the wireless device may receive a packet beamformed employing the computed PMI.
Method for transmitting and receiving signal in multi-cell cooperative communication system and apparatus therefor
The present invention relates to a method for transmitting and receiving signals in a wireless communication system. Specifically, in a multi-cell cooperative communication system, a base station can form cooperative detection user set information by detecting a terminal within a cell and form cooperative processing user set by receiving the cooperative detection user set information of a neighboring base station. At this time, the base station acquires information about a base station adjacent to the neighboring base station and designs an efficient filter in transmitting and receiving signals of terminals between the base stations, thereby being capable of removing inter-cell interference signals.
Method and apparatus for performing coordinated communication in a communication system
A method and apparatus for performing coordinated communication between radio access points in a communication system are provided. The method includes receiving, by a first radio access point, a message requesting channel information from a second radio access point, transmitting, by the first radio access point, a response message in reply to the message requesting channel information to the second radio access point, transmitting, by the first radio access point, a message reporting the channel information to the second radio access point, and receiving, by the first radio access point, resource allocation information for Coordinated Multi-Point transmission and reception (CoMP) from the second radio access point.
INTERFERENCE CONTROL METHOD AND APPARATUS, RESPONSE MESSAGE SENDING METHOD AND APPARATUS, RESPONSE MESSAGE FORWARDING METHOD AND APPARATUS, COMMUNICATION DEVICE, AND COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
Provided are an interference control method and apparatus, a response message sending method and apparatus, a response message forwarding method and apparatus, a communication device, and a communication system. A reference signal sent by a victim base station carries an addressing identifier. The addressing identifier corresponds to route information of a victim node set. Thus, when an aggressor base station monitors the reference signal, an aggressor node set may send a response message to the victim node set according to the addressing identifier, so that the victim base station in the victim node set can respond to the message to determine that the aggressor base station has received the reference signal sent by the victim base station.
Dormant Mode Measurement Optimization
Methods performed by a wireless device operating in a dormant mode comprise performing a measurement on each of a plurality of resources from a predetermined set of resources or demodulating and decoding information from each of a plurality of resources from a predetermined set of resources, such as a set of beams. The methods further include evaluating the measurement or the demodulated and decoded information for each of the plurality of resources against a predetermined criterion, and then discontinuing the performing and evaluating of measurements, or discontinuing the demodulating and decoding and evaluation of information, in response to determining that the predetermined criterion is met, such that one or more resources in the predetermined set of resources are neither measured nor demodulated and decoded. The methods further comprise deactivating receiver circuitry, further in response to determining that the predetermined criterion is met.
Fast access to neighbor cell synchronization signals in NR
The disclosure pertains to a method for operating a user equipment in a radio access network. The method includes measuring first synchronisation signaling associated to a first cell of the radio access network, wherein for measuring a set of parametrisations of the first synchronisation signaling is utilised, in which the set of parametrisations is determined based on a signaling parametrisation of second synchronisation signaling associated to a second cell of the radio access network, and further based on a mapping of the signaling parametrization to the first set of parametrisations. The disclosure also pertains to related methods and devices.
ENHANCEMENT BY AGGRESSOR VICTIM RELATION
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, the described techniques provide for managing remote interference using a previously detected relationship between an aggressor base station and a victim base station. The described techniques provide for allocating reference signal sequences for various victim base stations to send to an aggressor base station. The victim base station may trigger the aggressor base station to perform reference signal monitoring based on the previously detected victim-aggressor relationship, and may transmit a reference signal carrying a unique identifier based on the triggering. The first base station may send a request that the second base station to transmit a reference signal for enabling the first base station to measure interference of a wireless channel, and performing interference mitigation techniques at the first base station, the second base station, or both, to mitigate the remote interference.
