Space time frequency multiplexing (STFM) for radar systems using complementary pair waveforms
Space-time-frequency multiplexing (STFM) schemes for radio frequency (RF) scanning are disclosed in which complementary pairs of sequences (or Golay pairs) are transmitted at different times using multiple frequencies. The transmission and reception of the sequences can occur over multiple transmit (Tx) and/or receive (Rx) radio sectors to scan an entire area for range, azimuth, elevation, and (optionally) velocity of objects therein.

The method includes: A transmit device generates a PPDU, and sends the PPDU; and a receive device receives the PPDU, and processes M sequences carried in the PPDU. The PPDU shown in this application includes a first field, the first field is used for carrying M sequences, the M sequences correspond to M space-time streams, one sequence corresponds to one space-time stream, and M is a positive integer. According to the method provided in this application, sequence sending efficiency can be effectively improved.
METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING AND RECEIVING SIGNAL IN WIRELESS LAN SYSTEM AND APPARATUS FOR SAID METHOD
Disclosed are a method for a station for transmitting and receiving a signal in a wireless local area network (WLAN) system, and an apparatus for the method. More specifically, disclosed are a method for transmitting and receiving a signal and an apparatus for the method, the method, when a station transmits and receives a signal by means of a channel in which three channels have been bonded, generating an enhanced directional multi gigabit (EDMG) short training field (STF) for an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) packet, and transmitting and receiving a signal comprising the generated EDMG STF field.
BEAM TRAINING SEQUENCE DESIGN METHOD AND APPARATUS

Various embodiments are generally directed to an apparatus, method and other techniques to perform beamforming training in a MIMO environment. Some embodiments may include communicating one or more beamforming refinement packets having training subfields with orthogonal structures such that devices may simultaneously perform beamforming training for each pair of phased array antennas. Embodiments may also include the beamforming refinement packets with channel estimation fields with orthogonal structures.
SECURE CHANNEL SOUNDING
In an ultra-wideband (UWB) communication system comprising a pair of UWB transceivers, methods for securely performing channel sounding. In a first GCP Sync method, a pre-determined set of Golay Complementary Pairs is added to an 802.15.4a frame. In a second CLASS method, a cyphered low auto-correlation sum set is added to frame. In a third LCSSS method, a low cross-correlation sidelobe sum set is added to the frame. In general, these methods are adapted to transmit a pseudo-randomly generated codeset which may have inherent sidelobe distortions, and then, in the receiver, to compensate for this, and any channel-induced, distortion by selectively modifing the cross-correlation codeset.
