Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may select, in a first time slot, a set of resources to use for transmission to another UE; evaluate, in a second time slot, whether one or more resources of the set of resources is available; and transmit, based on the one or more resources of the set of resources being available, information to the other UE in a third time slot and using the set of resources, or reselect, based on the one or more resources of the set of resources being unavailable, another resource for transmission of the information to the other UE. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Reliable link quality estimation in multi-rate networks

Techniques are directed to using communication metric data associated with multiple modulation schemes to achieve a link quality metric that is representative of the link as a whole, across the multiple modulation schemes that may be employed on the link. A calculation of a link quality metric may be triggered by a network layer transmission attempt, with communication metrics accumulated at the link layer of the link. A filter used to calculate the link quality metric may be updated based on network layer transmission attempts, based on successful and/or unsuccessful transmissions at a Media Access Control (MAC) layer of the link. More generally, a calculation of link quality may be triggered by a higher layer transmission attempt while being calculated based on transmission attempts at a lower layer of the link.

COOPERATIVE MULTIPLE-INPUT MULTIPLE-OUTPUT DOWNLINK SCHEDULING

Aspects of this disclosure relate to cooperative multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) downlink scheduling. Features are described for scheduling transmissions within a MIMO network to efficiently allocate resources considering the needs and/or characteristics of devices served by the network. The downlink mode or active set may be scheduled based at least in part on the channel state information and additional network system information detected by or otherwise available to the scheduling device.

METHOD AND DEVICE FOR TRANSMITTING AND RECEIVING CONFIGURATION INFORMATION

There is provided a method and a device for transmitting and receiving configuration information. The method includes: determining, by a network device, configuration information, where the configuration information is configured to indicate, for a terminal device, a first CQI value range under a first target BLER; and transmitting, by the network device, the configuration information to the terminal device. In the embodiments of the present disclosure, the network device indicates the first CQI value range under the first BLER to the terminal device by using the configuration information, which can effectively save the overhead of high-level signaling, compared to by a manner of configuring a CQI table. In addition, since the CQI value range is configurable, not only the reliability of the CQI feedback but also efficiency of the CQI indication is improved.

Embodiments of a multi-link device (MLD) are generally described herein. The MLD may be configured for multi-link communication on a plurality of links. The MLD may be configured with a plurality of stations (STAs). Each STA may be a logical entity that includes a singly addressable instance of a medium access control (MAC) layer and a physical (PHY) layer of a link of the plurality of links. The MLD may configure traffic identifier (TID) assignment for the MLD for multi-link communication with another MLD. The multi-link communication may be configurable to support one or more data streams, wherein each of the data streams corresponds to a TID. The MLD may determine an assignment of the TIDs to the STAs of the MLD.

20200128519 · 2020-04-23 ·

The invention relates to a method, apparatus and system for configuring control channels in a mobile communication network and a mobile station. In order to suggest another improved scheme for configuring control channels, in particular control channels related to the transmission of user data the invention suggests aligning the size of the control channel information of different formats to an equal number of coded control channel information bits and/or modulation symbols for each control channel. The control channels may comprise scheduling related control information. According to another aspect of the invention, the size of the control channel information is aligned by means of modulation and/or coding, however the control channel information is aligned to one out of a set of numbers of coded control channel information bits and/or modulation symbols for each control channel.
