Method and arrangement in a wireless communications system
A method for assisting the adaptation of a signal from a first node to a second node is provided. The first node communicates with the second node in a wireless communication system over a radio link. The second node has a codebook comprising a set of possible information alternatives for assisting the adaptation of a signal received from the first node. The second node may select an information alternative from the codebook and send it to the first node to assist the first node in adapting the signal. The first node is configured with a number of subsets, each comprising a part of the possible information alternatives. The first node requests that the second node restrict the selection of information alternatives to one of the subsets, and in response, receives an information alternative from the second node that is selected from among the subsets configured according to the configuration request.
SUB-BAND BASED CROSS-LINK INTERFERENCE REPORT
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive cross-link interference (CLI) configuration information that indicates a plurality of sub-bands for a CLI measurement resource. The UE may transmit a CLI report indicating at least one CLI metric associated with at least one sub-band of the plurality of sub-bands. Numerous other aspects are described.
Method of reporting received signal strength on per frame basis in wi-fi network
Aspects of the present disclosure are drawn to a client device for use with an access point device. The client device includes: a memory; and a processor configured to execute instructions stored on the memory to cause the client device to: obtain a value associated with a capability of the client device, create a response including a header and a payload, the header including a reserved field including a bit reporting that the payload of the response includes the value associated with the capability, and transmit the response to the APD.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CSI REPORTING
A method for operating a user equipment (UE) comprises receiving a configuration about a channel state information (CSI) report, the configuration including information about a time interval W for the CSI report, the time interval W comprising multiple time slots; and a number (Y) of channel quality indicator (CQI) values associated with the time interval W; deriving, based on the configuration, the Y CQI values, each of the Y CQI values at a corresponding time slot in the time interval W, wherein the Y CQI values satisfy a block error (BLER) probability requirement; and transmitting the CSI report including the Y CQI values, wherein Y≥1.
COMMUNICATIONS DEVICES, INFRASTRUCTURE EQUIPMENT AND METHODS
A method of transmitting data by a transmitter to a receiver in a wireless communications network. The method comprises receiving data for transmission to the receiver via a communications channel, dividing the data into portions for transmission, receiving, for each of the portions of data, an indication of channel information from the receiver for use by the transmitter in determining values for one or more communications parameters with which the portion of data should be transmitted, determining the values for the one or more communications parameters based on the received channel information, dynamically generating, for each of the portions of data, a waveform representative of the portion of data, and transmitting each of the portions of data, using the generated waveform representations and in accordance with the values of the one or more communications parameters, to the receiver.
Using an uplink grant as trigger of first or second type of CQI report
Channel state feedback is provided from a UE to a base station as a first, detailed or a second, less detailed type of channel state feedback information. Initially it is determined whether the UE has received an uplink grant from the base station or not. If the UE has received an uplink grant, a first type of channel state feedback information is transmitted to the base station on the granted resource. If, however, the UE has not received an uplink grant, a second type of channel state feedback information is transmitted to the base station. Different types of channel state feedback information enables a UE and an associated to base station to use available resources more efficiently, when requesting for and delivering channel state feedback information.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR UCI MULTIPLEXING
A method for operating a user equipment (UE) comprises receiving information about a channel state information (CSI) report; determining, based on the information, the CSI report including amplitude indicators and phase indicators of a total of K.sup.NZ coefficients; determining, based on a condition, whether a bitmap indicator is included in the CSI report, where the bitmap indicator identifies indices of the K.sup.NZ coefficients; and transmitting the CSI report which includes the bitmap indicator when the condition is not satisfied.
Methods and apparatus to report link quality measurements for downlink dual carrier operation
Methods and apparatus to report link quality measurements for downlink dual carrier operation are disclosed. Example methods and apparatus disclosed herein implement one or more example techniques for reporting link quality measurements involving, for example, modifying measurement reporting messages to increase the number and/or types of link quality measurements that can be reported, permitting mobile stations, when appropriate, to use different reporting messages capable of supporting more link quality measurements, and/or prioritizing certain link quality measurements to be reported when the reporting messages do not contain sufficient space to report all requested and/or specified link quality measurements.
Information feedback method and device, storage medium, and electronic device
Provided are an information feedback method and device, a storage medium, and an electronic device. The method includes that: N pieces of feedback information are determined according to one Channel State Information (CSI) report configuration, wherein the N pieces of feedback information includes N Rank Indications (RIs) and N Precoding Matrix Indications (PMIs), and N is an integer greater than or equal to 1; and the N pieces of feedback information are sent to a base station.
ADAPTIVE SUBCARRIER SPACING CONFIGURATION
Methods and apparatuses for adaptive subcarrier spacing in wireless communication networks are described. For example, the described aspects include transmitting, from the UE to a network entity, a first PRACH transmission with a first subcarrier spacing; determining, by the UE, that the first PRACH transmission to the network entity is not successful; and transmitting, from the UE, a second PRACH transmission with a second subcarrier spacing in response to determining that the first PRACH transmission is not successful, wherein the first subcarrier spacing is different from the second subcarrier spacing.
