METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING OR RECEIVING SIGNAL IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM AND APPARATUS THEREFOR
According to one embodiment of the present invention, a method of receiving DCI by a UE includes receiving bundling information regarding REGs via higher layer signaling, performing blind detection for a PDCCH in a CORESET configured on a plurality of OFDM symbols, and acquiring DCI from the PDCCH. When the bundling information indicates a first value, the UE may perform bundling such that only REGs locating on a same RB and corresponding to different OFDM symbols in the CORESET, are bundled as 1 REG bundle, and when the bundling information indicates a second value, the UE may perform bundling such that the REGs locating on the same RB and corresponding to the different OFDM symbols are bundled as 1 REG bundle along with REGs locating on different RBs in the CORESET, and the UE may perform the blind detection of the PDCCH by assuming same precoding for REGs belonging to a same REG bundle as a result of REG bundling.
CODING METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DATA COMMUNICATION
A coding method for data communication is provided, and may be applied to a plurality of scenarios such as a metro network, a backbone network, and a data center interconnection. The method includes: forming a first codeword, where the first codeword includes n image bits and n to-be-transmitted bits, the n image bits are selected from to-be-transmitted bits in m source codewords, the source codeword is a codeword formed before the first codeword, both n and m are positive integers, and n>m; and sending the n to-be-transmitted bits in the first codeword. The bit in the first codeword is protected by a plurality of codewords generated at different moments, and a coding gain effect is better. In addition, the bit in the codeword is protected by different quantities of codewords.
DYNAMIC FROZEN BITS AND ERROR DETECTION FOR POLAR CODES
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described for dynamic frozen bits of polar codes for early termination and performance improvement. A wireless device may receive a signal comprising a codeword encoded using a polar code. The wireless device may perform decoding of the codeword including at least: parity check of a first subset of decoding paths for making a decision on early termination of decoding of the codeword based on dynamic frozen bits, and generating path metrics for a second subset of the decoding paths that each pass the parity check based on the dynamic frozen bits, and performing error detection on a bit sequence corresponding to one of the second subset of the decoding paths based at part on error detection bits and the generated path metrics. The wireless device may process the information bits based on a result of the decoding.
Resolving downlink control information ambiguity
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a wireless communication device may determine that a first set of downlink control information (DCI) formats is associated with a same DCI size as a second set of DCI formats, and perform a padding operation so that the first set of DCI formats and the second set of DCI formats are associated with different DCI sizes. Numerous other aspects are provided.
Techniques for communicating repetitions of control channels in wireless communications
Aspects described herein relate to receiving, from a base station, a downlink communication indicating resources scheduled for one or more repetitions of a downlink control channel, receiving, from the base station, the one or more repetitions of the downlink control channel, and combining the one or more repetitions of the downlink control channel to decode the downlink control channel. In another aspect, the network can transmit, to a user equipment (UE), a downlink communication indicating resources scheduled for one or more repetitions of a downlink control channel, and transmitting, to the UE, the one or more repetitions of the downlink control channel over the resources.
