METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PROCESSING SIGNAL IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a method performed by a terminal may include obtaining, from encoded bits, a first bit group and a second bit group, arranging the encoded bits such that bits of the first bit group and bits of the second bit group are interleaved, modulating the arranged bits in the first bit group and the second bit group by using different modulation rates, and transmitting, to a base station, a signal obtained based on the modulated bits.
DIFFERENT MODULATION ORDERS AND NUMBER OF MIMO LAYERS FOR HP AND LP UCI MULTIPLEXING ON PUSCH
A UE may multiplex first UCI of a first priority with second UCI of a second priority. The first UCI may include at least one of a first modulation order or a first number of MIMO layers, and the second UCI may include at least one of a second modulation order or a second number of MIMO layers. The first modulation order of the first UCI may be greater than or equal to the second modulation order of the second UCI, and the first number of MIMO layers of the first UCI may be greater than or equal to the second number of MIMO layers of the second UCI. The UE may transmit, to a base station, an UL transmission including the first UCI of the first priority multiplexed with the second UCI of the second priority, where the second priority corresponds to a higher priority than the first priority.
Voice data transmission with adaptive redundancy
Voice data transmission with adaptive redundancy creates a voice data packet by packetizing the voice data payload and a number of redundant payloads selected from a set of previous voice data payloads. The voice data from the voice data payload is analysed to determine whether it is a critical or non-critical payload by classifying the received voice data as voiced or unvoiced. If at least a portion of the voice data is classified as unvoiced, the voice data payload is determined to be a critical payload. If it is a critical payload, then the voice data payload is added to the set of previous voice data payloads for inclusion as a redundant payload in subsequent voice data packets. The voice data packet is then forwarded for transmission over the network.
Error recovery and power management between nodes of an interconnection network
Improved techniques for recovering from an error condition without requiring a re-transmittal of data across a high-speed data link and for improved power usage are disclosed herein. A data stream is initiated. This stream includes different types of packets. Error correcting code (ECC) is selectively imposed on a control data type packet. A transmitter node and a receiver node are connected via a hard link that has multiple virtual channels. Each virtual channel is associated with a corresponding power-consuming node. When the receiver node receives the control data type packet, error correction is performed if needed without re-transmittal. When a final data type packet is transmitted for each virtual channel, the transmitter node transmits an end condition type packet. A corresponding power-consuming node that corresponds to the respective virtual channel transitions from an active state to a low power state.
Method and device in UE and base station for channel coding
The disclosure discloses a method and device in UE and a base station for channel coding. A first node first determines a first bit block and then transmits a first radio signal, wherein bits of the first bit block are used to generate bits of a second bit block, a third bit block comprises bits of the second bit block and the first bit block, and the third bit block is used to generate the first radio signal. The first bit block, the second bit block and the third bit block comprise P1, P2 and P3 bits, respectively.

Multi-level coded modulation for non-coherent communication
Disclosed are techniques related to wireless communication system in which multi-level encoded modulation (MLCM) is applied to non-coherent communication. In the proposed techniques, a small fraction of differential phase rotations or bits participating in differential symbol coding are protected with strong codes while other complementary differential phase rotations or bits are protected with weaker codes. Compared to conventional non-coherent communication techniques in which a uniform protection is applied to any fraction of differential phase rotation or any bit of a differential symbol, the proposed MLCM approach enables more spectrally efficient scheme.
Priority-based hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) feedback
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive downlink data from a base station. The UE may transmit, to the base station via a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) format 1 and based at least in part on the downlink data, a first hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) bit associated with a high priority using a first quantity of symbols. The UE may transmit, to the base station via the PUCCH format 1 and based at least in part on the downlink data, a second HARQ-ACK bit associated with a low priority using a second quantity of symbols that is less than the first quantity of symbols. Numerous other aspects are provided.
