REFERENCE TRANSMISSION CONFIGURATION INDICATOR POOL
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive configuration information indicating a pool of transmission configuration indicator (TCI) states. The UE may receive an indication of a TCI state of the pool of TCI states for a communication in a frequency region that is not configured with a set of TCI states. The UE may transmit or receiving the communication using the TCI state. Numerous other aspects are provided.
CORESET SELECTION WITH DIFFERENT QCL-TYPED FOR M-TRP PDCCH REPETITION
In accordance with example embodiments of the invention there is at least a method and apparatus to perform determining, by a network device of a communication network, that to monitor physical downlink control channel candidates of two or more control resource sets of the communication network, wherein the two or more control resource sets are using different QCL-TypeD; and selecting at least two control resource sets of the two or more control resource sets with different QCL-TypeD for monitoring at least two of the physical downlink control channel candidates.
POWER CONTROL PARAMETER CONFIGURATION FOR CONFIGURED GRANTS
This disclosure provides methods, devices, and systems supporting power control parameter configuration for configured grants (CGs). In some implementations, a user equipment (UE) may receive control signaling configuring multiple sounding reference signal (SRS) resource sets and multiple sets of power control parameters for CG uplink transmission. The UE may receive downlink control information (DCI) scheduling a retransmission and indicating which set of power control parameters the UE is to use for the CG uplink retransmission. In some other implementations, the control signaling may configure multiple SRS resources sets but a single set of power control parameters. The UE may receive DCI activating the CG configuration or scheduling a retransmission, the DCI indicating a second set of power control parameters not configured by the control signaling. The UE may automatically use the power control parameters configured by the control signaling or may determine a second set based on the DCI.
USER EQUIPMENT AND METHOD FOR TIMING ALIGNMENT
A method and a user equipment (UE) for timing alignment is provided. The method includes maintaining a Timing Advance (TA) value as a first TA value; receiving, from a Base Station (BS), a TA command during a Random Access (RA) procedure; applying the TA command to set the TA value to a second TA value included in the TA command in a case that a first timing alignment timer is not running; determining whether a contention resolution for the RA procedure is successful; and when the contention resolution is not successful, setting the TA value to the first TA value in a case that a Configured Grant-based Small Data Transmission (CG-SDT) procedure is ongoing.
TECHNIQUES FOR CONFIGURING TCI STATES FOR MBS TRANSMISSIONS
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive signaling indicating a group of transmission configuration indicator states including a first subset associated with a first bandwidth part and a second subset associated with a common frequency resource. The UE may determine, based on the group of transmission configuration indicator states, a transmission configuration indicator state list arrangement indicating a first state list associated with the first bandwidth part and a second state list associated with the common frequency resource. The UE may select, based on the transmission configuration indicator state list arrangement, a transmission configuration indicator state sharing scheme or a transmission configuration indicator state separation scheme. The sharing scheme may include at least one transmission configuration indicator state that may be common between a unicast transmission configuration and a multicast transmission configuration.
TECHNIQUES TO FACILITATE OPPORTUNISTIC CSI FOR SIDELINK COMMUNICATION
Apparatus, methods, and computer-readable media for facilitating opportunistic CSI for sidelink communication are disclosed herein. An example method for wireless communication at a responding sidelink UE includes receiving, from an initiating sidelink UE, a request to provide CSI feedback to the initiating sidelink UE, the request excluding a CSI-RS. The example method also includes decoding a transmission from the initiating sidelink UE to a neighboring sidelink UE, the transmission including a CSI feedback trigger. The example method also includes transmitting, to the initiating sidelink UE, a CSI report based on the transmission.
SELECTING TRANSPORT BLOCKS FOR NETWORK CODING
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a receiving device may receive, from a transmitting device that is configured to perform network coding on information from an originating device, one or more transport blocks (TBs) including the information and associated with an erasure coding scheme. The receiving device may perform decoding using the erasure coding scheme and at least one TB, of the one or more TBs. The at least one TB is selected using one or more time conditions, one or more group conditions, one or more settings indicated by the transmitting device, or a combination thereof. Numerous other aspects are described.
Preemption indicator techniques
Techniques are disclosed relating to downlink control information for wireless communications. In some embodiments, the downlink control information includes code block group information that indicates which code block groups are transmitted and soft buffer handling information that indicates whether to flush previously-determined soft bits that correspond to one or more code block groups.
Utilization of additional bandwidth in a sidelink resource pool
Aspects of a methods, apparatus, and computer-readable medium for wireless communication at a wireless device are provided herein. The wireless device may receive a configuration for a resource pool for sidelink communication, the resource pool having a plurality of physical resource blocks (PRBs) including a first set of PRBs that are grouped in one or more sub-channels, each sub-channel having an equal number of PRBs, and a second set of PRBs that are not in the one or more sub-channels having the equal number of PRBs. The apparatus may transmit in the second set of PRBs. The second set of PRBs may not be monitored by a receiving device.
Channel state information measurement adaptation to maximum multiple-input multiple-output layers
Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for channel state information measurement adaptation to maximum multiple-input multiple-output layers. A method that may be performed by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving a first channel state information (CSI) report configuration including one or more first CSI reference signal (CSI-RS) resources, wherein each first CSI-RS resource comprises a first resource set; determining, based on an indication of a maximum number of multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) layers that the UE is expected to receive, a first resource subset on which to report first CSI; and reporting the first CSI to a base station (BS), wherein the first CSI is based on the determined first resource subset.
