Uplink signaling for cooperative multipoint communication
A method of operating a wireless communication system is disclosed (FIG. 6). The method includes receiving a virtual cell identification (VCID) parameter (600) from a remote transmitter. A base sequence index (BSI) and a cyclic shift hopping (CSH) parameter (604,606) are determined in response to the VCID. A pseudo-random sequence is selected in response to the BSI and CSH (610,612). A reference signal is generated using the selected pseudo-random sequence (614).
Rate matching for coordinated multipoint transmission schemes
Certain aspects of the present disclosure relate to techniques for determining resource elements REs used for Coordinated Multipoint (CoMP) transmission schemes. The techniques generally include determining, by a User Equipment (UE), a set of data REs used for Coordinated Multipoint (CoMP) operation. The determination is based on a CoMP scheme and data REs available to particular base stations involved in the CoMP operation. The technique further includes processing data received via the CoMP operation on the determined set of data REs.
Method and apparatus for performing resource reservation in NR V2X
A method by which a first device (100) performs sidelink transmission and an apparatus for supporting same are presented. The method comprises the steps of: receiving information about a first resource pool set on the basis of a first slot format; reserving a first resource for the sidelink transmission on the basis of the information about the first resource pool; receiving information about a second resource pool set on the basis of a second slot format, after reserving the first resource; and performing the sidelink transmission on the basis of the information about the second resource pool.
LOCAL AREA NETWORK ASSISTED POSITIONING
A method for assisting in locating a position of a mobile wireless device includes: obtaining location information of an approximate location of the mobile wireless device; generating an almanac of base stations based at least in part on proximity of locations of the base stations to the approximate location of the mobile wireless device, the almanac of base stations comprising at least one cooperative terrestrial base station that can communicate with the mobile wireless device in at least one mode and at least one uncooperative terrestrial base station capable of bi-directional communications and configured to prevent data and voice communications with the mobile wireless device, the at least one uncooperative terrestrial base station being configured to acknowledge a message received from the mobile wireless device; and providing the almanac of base stations to the mobile wireless device.
UPLINK SIGNAL TRANSMITTING METHOD AND USER EQUIPMENT, AND UPLINK SIGNAL RECEIVING METHOD AND BASE STATION
The present invention provides a method and device for transmitting/receiving an uplink signal. When a user equipment of the present invention is configured by multiple cell groups and multiple pieces of uplink control information (UCI) to be transmitted by the user equipment in a subframe are generated, the user equipment separately transmits, to the multiple cell groups, the UCI one by one from the piece of UCI having the highest priority, and drops the pieces of UCI having lower priorities among the multiple pieces of UCI.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR ENHANCING CARRIER AGGREGATION
Provided in the present invention is a method, base station, and user equipment for configuring a serving cell group. The method includes: a base station transmitting serving cell group configuration information to a user equipment having carrier aggregation capability, where the serving cell group configuration information indicates a reference cell used for transmitting uplink control information of a serving cell. The present invention allows the base station to flexibly configure multiple PUCCH reference cells and to configure different PUCCH reference cells on the basis of different cell loads.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING CONTROL INFORMATION FOR COORDINATED TRANSMISSION IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
The present disclosure is to effectively perform coordinated transmission in a wireless communication system. A base station includes a controller for providing control to generate control information including channel state information and buffer occupancy state related information of terminals, and a communication unit for transmitting the control information. In addition, the present disclosure also includes other exemplary embodiments different from the aforementioned exemplary embodiments.
METHOD FOR RECEIVING REFERENCE SIGNAL IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, AND APPARATUS FOR THE METHOD
Disclosed is a method for receiving a reference signal for determining location by means of one or more unlicensed band cells in a wireless communication system, and the method, carried out by a terminal, may comprise the steps of: receiving configuration information associated with a positioning reference signal (PRS) transmitted by means of one or more unlicensed band cells, the PRS-related configuration information comprising information regarding the subframe from which the PRS is transmitted; receiving and measuring the PRS by means of the PRS-related configuration information; and reporting the results of the PRS measurement to a serving base station.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR TRANSMITTING APERIODIC CHANNEL STATE INFORMATION IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
A method is provided for receiving aperiodic channel state information (CSI). A base station (BS) transmits, to a user equipment (UE), an uplink downlink control information (DCI) format. The BS receives, from the UE, aperiodic CSI through a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) if the BS triggers an aperiodic CSI report using a CSI request field included in the uplink DCI format. The CSI request field is either a 1-bit field or a multi-bit field. When the UE is configured with only one cell, the 1-bit field is included in the uplink DCI. When the UE is configured with more than one channel state information-reference signal (CSI-RS), the multi-bit field is included in the uplink DCI.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CANCELLING INTER-CELL INTERFERENCE IN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
The present disclosure relates to an apparatus and method for canceling and/or suppressing inter-cell interference in a wireless communication. The method includes: establishing a Radio Resource Control (RRC) connection with a base station through a first serving cell; receiving, at a User Equipment (UE), an RRC message through the first serving cell, the RRC message comprising cell-specific reference signal (CRS) information of a neighbor cell and Physical Downlink Shared Channel (PDSCH) information of the neighbor cell, and the PDSCH information of the neighbor cell comprising a parameter relating to a power ratio of a CRS of the neighbor cell and a PDSCH of the neighbor cell; receiving the PDSCH through the first serving cell; performing a channel estimation for retrieving data from a PDSCH of the first serving cell; and retrieving the data from the PDSCH of the first serving cell based on the second channel estimation.
