An embodiment is a method for a terminal to perform an operation in a wireless communication system, the method including the steps of: transmitting a request positioning reference signal (PRS) to anchor nodes (ANs); receiving response PRSes for the request RPS from the ANs; and measuring the location of the terminal by using the request PRS and the response PRSes, wherein the terminal transmits scheduling information related to the request PRS and the response PRSes to the ANs.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MULTIPLE HAPS BASE STATION CONNECTION
This disclosure is directed towards improved methods for identifying one or more base stations for connection with user equipment. The user equipment may establish a connection with a base stations based on an estimated location of the base station. Additionally, the user equipment may receive an indication from the base station to scan for additional base stations at additional estimated locations. Further, the user equipment may determine one or more connection parameters (e.g., distance from communication hub to user equipment, angle of communication hub relative to user equipment, shadowing at the communication hub, and the like) associated with the base stations within the geographical area. The user equipment may establish connection with base stations that are determined to have the best signal strength based on the connection parameters.

Transmissions with common location dependent control information for machine type communication (MTC) data and mobile broadband user equipment (UE) data
A base station transmits a signal transmission to a mobile broadband (MBB) user equipment (UE) device and to a machine type communication (MTC) device that is in close proximity to the MBB UE device where the signal transmission includes control channel and a data channel. The control channel includes common location dependent control information that applies to the MTC device and the MBB UE device because they are at the same location.
Method for Downlink Control Channel Design
Embodiments of this disclosure improve the reliability of blind decoding when beamforming is used by having a user equipment (UE) receive a single downlink control information (DCI) message with different transmission and/or reception parameters. In some embodiments, a UE receives more than one set of configuration parameters, where any two sets of configuration parameters out of the more than one set of configuration parameters have at least one different parameter. The UE may receive two sets of configuration parameters each having a different transmission modes, but the same search space type. Additional examples are also provided.

An operating method of a first device (100) in a wireless communication system is presented. An information transmission method and a device are provided. The information transmission method includes: receiving, by a terminal device, downlink control information sent by a network device, the downlink control information including a resource allocation field, the resource allocation field being used to indicate allocated resource block(s) or a subcarrier resource. The method further includes determining, by the terminal device, an allocated resource based on the downlink control information, and sending information on the allocated resource. According to the method and the device provided in embodiments of this application, a coverage capability of a network is improved, and the method and the device may be applied to the internet of things, for example, MTC, IoT, LTE-M, and M2M.

Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a network entity sends, to a user equipment (UE), a notification of a plurality of direct current (DC) tones of a plurality of network nodes configured to transmit a plurality of positioning signals to the UE, and receives, from the UE, a position of the UE, a plurality of positioning related measurements of the plurality of positioning signals, or any combination thereof. In an aspect, a UE receives, from a network entity, a notification of a plurality of DC tones of a plurality of network nodes, receives, from the plurality of network nodes, a plurality of positioning signals, and determines a plurality of positioning related measurements of the plurality of positioning signals based on locations of the plurality of DC tones indicated in the notification.
