20210345323 · 2021-11-04 ·

Systems and methods are disclosed herein for operational tasks to be performed in slots that are partially overlapped by measurement gaps in a wireless communication system. Embodiments of a method performed by a wireless device and corresponding embodiments of a wireless device are disclosed. In some embodiments, a method performed by a wireless device for performing scheduled communications operations for a serving cell comprises determining a communication slot that is partially overlapped by a measurement gap, the communication slot being associated with a serving cell of the wireless device. The method further comprises identifying a scheduled operational task which can be carried out in a non-overlapped portion of the communication slot, the non-overlapped portion of the communication slot being a portion of the communication slot not overlapped by the measurement gap. The method further comprises performing the scheduled operational task in the non-overlapped portion of the communication slot.

Mitigation of inter-band interference to receivers by allocating alerts in frequency domain based on severity

A transmitting device may select frequency domain resources for an alert transmission based on a severity level of the alert transmission. The transmitting device may determine a severity level of an alert transmission to be transmitted on one or more available channels. The transmitting device may determine a presence of one or more systems configured to transmit on one or more neighbor channels of the one or more available channels. The transmitting device may select, for the alert transmission, frequency domain resources within the one or more available channels based on the presence of the one or more systems and the severity level. The frequency domain resources for a highest severity level transmission are spaced further apart from the one or more neighbor channels in the frequency domain than resources for a lower severity level transmission. The transmitting device may transmit the alert transmission on the frequency domain resources.

System and method for an adaptive frame structure with filtered OFDM

Different filtered-orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (f-OFDM) frame formats may be used to achieve the spectrum flexibility. F-OFDM waveforms are generated by applying a pulse shaping digital filter to an orthogonal frequency division multiplexed (OFDM) signal. Different frame formats may be used to carry different traffic types as well as to adapt to characteristics of the channel, transmitter, receiver, or serving cell. The different frame formats may utilize different sub-carrier (SC) spacings and/or cyclic prefix (CP) lengths. In some embodiments, the different frame formats also utilize different symbol durations and/or transmission time interval (TTI) lengths.

HARQ FEEDBACK REPORTING FOR CROSS-CARRIER SCHEDULING

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a base station may transmit a plurality of physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) communications in a same PDCCH monitoring occasion in a first cell, and may transmit a plurality of physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) communications in at least one of the first cell or a second cell. Each of the PDCCH communications schedules a respective PDSCH communication of the plurality of PDSCH communications. A PDCCH communication, of the plurality of PDCCH communications, includes an indication of a counter downlink assignment index that is based at least in part on a combination of a starting symbol and a cell in which an associated PDSCH communication is to be transmitted, a cell index of the cell in which the associated PDSCH communication is to be transmitted, and the PDCCH monitoring occasion. Numerous other aspects are provided.

METHOD OF SHARING SRS RESOURCES BETWEEN SRS RESOURCE SETS OF DIFFERENT USAGES, AND CORRESPONDING UE

A user equipment (UE) is disclosed that includes a receiver that receives a parameter and a processer that, based on the parameter, configures Sounding Reference Signal (SRS) resources with a first SRS resource set and a second SRS resource set. The UE further includes a transmitter that transmits one or more SRSs using the SRS resources. In other aspects, a method and a wireless communication system are also disclosed.

INTENT-DRIVEN NETWORK ANALYTICS FOR PREDICTIVE NETWORK SLICE MANAGEMENT

Described are examples for providing intent based network slice management using a management data analytics function (MDAF) to predict deficiencies. A network management system receives an intent for a network slice constituent. The network management system configures computing resources for the network slice constituent to satisfy the intent based on expected performance of the computing resources. The network management system receives feedback with respect to actual performance of the network slice constituent. The network management system determines, based on analysis of the feedback by a management data analytics function (MDAF), a predicted deficiency of the network slice constituent not being able to satisfy the intent. The network management system modifies the configuration of the computing resources based on the feedback and the predicted deficiency to satisfy the intent.
