Demodulation reference signal modifications for multiple signaling, multiple transmission reception point operation
This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for demodulation reference signal (DMRS) and cell specific reference signal (CRS) collision avoidance procedures for wireless communication. Conventional networks and devices may be unable to perform DMRS shifting in some modes. For example, when considering two transmissions of multiple TRP modes, if a DMRS symbol for one transmission is shifted due to a collision with a CRS pattern, the alignment of the transmissions may be altered. If DMRS symbols of the transmissions are not aligned, interference or decoding failure may occur. The disclosure enables procedures for performing DMRS shifting in multiple TRP modes. For example, the DMRS symbols of both transmissions may be shifted responsive to determining an overlap for one transmission. Such shifting may enable the alignment of the DMRS locations for both transmissions to enable decoding of the transmissions.

Method and device for setting plurality of DMRS structures in wireless cellular communication system
A method and apparatus are provided for setting a plurality of demodulation reference signal (DMRS) structures and determining uplink and downlink transmission timing for reducing a delay. A method performed by a terminal includes receiving, from a base station, information associated with a first symbol position for a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) in a transmission time interval; identifying the first symbol position for the DMRS, the first symbol position for the DMRS being identified relative to a start of the transmission time interval based on the information; and receiving, from the base station, the DMRS on the identified first symbol position of the DMRS.

Apparatuses, methods, computer programs and computer program products for beam indication
In some embodiments, a network (e.g., a TRP) provides to a UE information indicating that a transmitted “first” RS resource (or “RS” for short) is quasi-co-located (QCL) with a scheduled transmission for the UE (e.g., a “second” RS). The UE may then receive the scheduled transmission under an assumption that the scheduled transmission (e.g., a second RS, such as a demodulation RS (DMRS)) is QCL with the first RS. The UE may receive such QCL information before, after or while receiving the first RS.
