AN ARCHITECTURE FOR MANAGING IPV4 BASED CUSTOMER PREMISSES EQUIPMENTS THROUGH IPV6
The present invention is basically related to a system which is For managing IPv4 based network through IPv6 based TR-069 communication and which provides a solution allowing new subscriber registrations to the networks that has reached maximum number of IP (Internet Protocol) usage.
Proximal Playback Devices
Systems and methods disclosed herein include, determining a proximity of the first networked device to a second networked device, determining whether there is a wired network connection existing between the first networked device and the second networked device, and in response to determining the proximity and the existence of a wired network connection, reconfiguring one or more operational parameters of one or both of the first networked device and the second networked device.
METHODS, SYSTEMS, AND MEDIA FOR DETECTING THE PRESENCE OF A DIGITAL MEDIA DEVICE ON A NETWORK
Methods, systems, and media for detecting the presence of a digital media device on a network are provided. In some embodiments, methods for detecting a presence of a particular type of digital media device is provided, the methods comprising: identifying cached device details for devices previously associated with the network; performing a simple device discovery protocol (SSDP) on the network, and substantially concurrently sending a unicast message to an address associated with the identified cached digital media device using hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP); and indicating the presence of a digital media device on the network in response to either (i) receiving a response to the unicast message, or (ii) determining that a type of a device discovered using SSDP is the same as the particular device type.
Configuration user interface for a home automation system
In one embodiment, a configuration application executing on a tablet computer or smartphone presents a configuration user interface on a touch screen for configuring a home automation system of a structure. A plurality of components of the home automation system that have wireless capabilities are detected. The configuration application receives an indication of a zone of the structure within which each component is located, the indication provided by the user dragging a representation of each component to a location provided in the configuration user interface. Based on the indication of the zone of the structure in which each component is located and the type of each component, automatically generate one or more user interface screens for accessing and controlling the components in each zone, where the automatically generated user interface screens are displayable during use of the home automation system.
SYSTEMS, METHODS, AND MEDIA FOR MANAGING AN ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM
Systems, methods, and media for managing an entertainment system are provided. In some implementations, systems for managing an entertainment system are provided, the systems comprising: at least one hardware processor configured to: detect a first instruction; select a component of the entertainment system; determine a first state of the component; store an indication of the first state; detect a second instruction; retrieve the indication of the first state; generate a third instruction based on the indication of the first state; and transmit the third instruction to the component of the entertainment system.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR GENERATING AND UPDATING PROXIMAL GROUPINGS OF ELECTRONIC DEVICES
Embodiments described herein generate proximal groupings of wireless signals based upon the temporal persistence and spatial proximity of the wireless signals as observed by a plurality of observer devices. For example, a first observer device may observe a first set of wireless signals at a first timepoint and a second observer device may observe a second set of wireless signals at a second timepoint. The first observer device may again observe a third set of wireless signals at a third timepoint. Based upon these observations, a server may generate a proximal grouping a wireless signals containing a subset of the first, second, third of wireless signals based upon temporal persistence and spatial proximity. Temporal persistence may be based upon the repeated observations of the subset of wireless signals across different timepoints and the spatial proximity may be based upon the proximity of locations of the observer devices.
Automatic testing of home entertainment automation systems for controlling connected devices
Methods, systems, and apparatuses are described for testing communication with a device. A multimedia receiver may be communicatively coupled to a media device, such as a source media device. The multimedia receiver may transmit a test command to control the source media device using a communication protocol. A video frame output by the source media device may be obtained. Based at least on the video frame, it may be determined whether the source media device received the test command. In response to a determination that the source media device received the test command, an indication may be stored that the source media device may be controlled using the communication protocol.
Media playback system with virtual line-in
Example systems and techniques disclosed herein facilitate interoperability between different media playback systems referred to herein as a virtual line-in (VLI) media playback system and a native playback system. When a VLI session is created by a VLI sender, a first native playback device can join a VLI group as a VLI receiver. As a VLI receiver, the first native playback device receives audio content and playback commands from the VLI sender to facilitate synchronous playback with other VLI receivers. At the same time, this native playback device can concurrently operate as a native domain group coordinator of a native domain synchrony group. As the native domain group coordinator, the native playback device translates VLI domain audio, control, and timing signals into the native domain and distributes such signals to native domain group members. In this way, the native domain group members can synchronize their playback with the VLI group.
Distribution destination specifying device and distribution destination specifying method
A distribution destination specifying device includes: a related information obtaining portion that obtains related information that indicates a relationship of a plurality of host devices that distribute content to be input, to a client device; a selection receiving portion that receives a selection of one host device among the plurality of host devices; a related host device identifying portion that identifies a related host device related to a selected host device to be selected by the selection receiving portion, based on the related information; and a distribution destination specifying screen display portion that displays a distribution destination specifying screen for specifying a client device as a distribution destination of content of each of the selected host device and the related host device.
