This application is a technology with regard to a device that controls a related device based on an operation situation using artificial intelligence, a schedule bot and a server that controls the same, and the device that receives a control of the related device based on the operation situation by an exemplary embodiment of this application includes a function unit that performs a physical function of the device, a communication unit that receives a time schedule and function information from a related device or a schedule management device, and control unit that controls the function unit to maintain a ready state so that a function unit performs a first function at a point that is indicated in the time schedule by using the time schedule and the function information that the communication unit receives.

SMART GATEWAY DEVICES, SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROVIDING COMMUNICATION BETWEEN HVAC SYSTEM NETWORKS

A smart gateway device for a first network associated with a building management system (BMS) is configured to discover a physical device and generate a new virtual device responsive to a determination that a device identifier of the physical device does not match any device identifiers in a virtual device registry. The virtual device registry provides mapping between the new virtual device and the physical device. One or more data points of the new virtual device correspond to one or more data points of the physical device. The smart gateway device is configured to receive data values for the one or more data points of the physical device and update the one or more data points of the new virtual device with the data values for the one or more data points of the physical device. The virtual device is configured to represent the physical device on the first network.

The present invention relates to an internet home appliance and a method for controlling the same, or an internet home appliance system and a method for controlling the same. According to an embodiment of the present invention, there may be provided a method for controlling an internet home appliance system, the method comprising the steps of: recognizing first information by an external terminal through an information tag provided on a product to be treated: transmitting second information to a server by the external terminal by using an application that interworks with a home appliance which is registered on the server on the basis of user information and appliance information, and which is communication-connected there to: receiving third information from the server by the home appliance and setting information (product treatment information) for treating the product: and treating the product by the home appliance on the basis of the product treatment information that has been set.

AUTOMATED TEMPERATURE LOGGING AND PREDICTIVE ALERTING SYSTEM WITH TIMED LOGS

Disclosed are various embodiments for an automated temperature logging and predictive alerting system for monitoring items that are being cooled or heated. In one embodiment, a predictive logging application may compare a predicted temperature curve of an item to a predefined slope to predict whether or not the item will meet a target threshold. The target threshold may be a target temperature or duration rule that can be aggregated discontinuously over a single day or multiple days. If the projected temperature curve is predicted to not meet the target threshold, the logging application may send alerts notifying a client of available corrective actions. In projecting the predicted slope, the predictive logging application may train machine learning models to analyze historical data associated with the item and the user.

DISTRIBUTED LEDGER SYSTEM FOR INSURANCE RECORD MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS

Systems and methods are disclosed with respect to using a distributed ledger, such as a blockchain, for insurance record management systems. The distributed ledger may be utilized to look up information pertaining to a person's insurance. For example, when a driver is pulled over by law enforcement for speeding, the driver may wish to verify an insurance policy by granting a law enforcement official permission to view his or her insurance records stored on the distributed ledger. Advantageously, the distributed ledger could consequently eliminate the need to carry physical proof of insurance.

DISTRIBUTED LEDGER SYSTEM FOR MANAGING SMART VEHICLE DATA

Systems and methods are disclosed with respect to using a distributed ledger, such as a blockchain, for managing smart vehicle data. The managed data may relate to a detected vehicle event, such as: a motion or position detected by a motion or position sensor as a GPS chip, an accelerometer, a compass, a speedometer, a gyroscope, etc.; braking detected by a braking sensor; turn input detected by a steering wheel sensor; wheel position detected by a wheel sensor; engine temperature detected by a temperature gauge; oil temperature detected by a temperature gauge; a seatbelt status detected by a seatbelt and/or seat sensor; etc.

DISTRIBUTED LEDGER SYSTEM FOR CLAIM PAYOUTS

Systems and methods are disclosed with respect to using a distributed ledger, such as a blockchain, for managing claim payment activity. In particular, the distributed ledger may be utilized to track the status of a claim and to track payment activity associated with the claim. For example, the distributed ledger may be utilized to track estimates, offers, settlements, and payouts relating to insurance claims relating to injuries, property damage, (e.g., to homes, automobile, personal articles, or other insured assets), and other expenses (e.g., payments to vendors such as car repair shops, car rental companies, cleaning companies, contractors, etc.).

DISTRIBUTED LEDGER SYSTEM FOR USE WITH VEHICLE SENSOR DATA AND USAGE BASED SYSTEMS

Systems and methods are disclosed with respect to using a distributed ledger for use with vehicle sensor data and usage based systems. These usage based systems may be opt-in programs wherein a driver volunteers to install one or more vehicle sensors configured to monitor various characteristics associated with a vehicle (e.g., speed, acceleration, cornering, braking, path, etc.) that are utilized to develop a profile including information quantifying, for example, a driver's habits. Advantageously for the driver, such a profile can be utilized to reward safe drivers with lower insurance rates, including lower usage-based insurance rates.

Distributed Ledger System for Managing Smart Home Data

Systems and methods are disclosed with respect to using a distributed ledger, such as a blockchain, for managing smart home data. Various entities may edit and/or access the distributed ledger, such as a server (e.g., of the insurance provider), a mobile device (e.g., a tablet, smart phone, or laptop of the insured or of a vendor), a desktop computer (e.g., of the insured or of a vendor), a smart device in a home (e.g., a smart thermostat, a smart carbon monoxide detector, a smart camera or microphone, or any other smart device), a home controller that manages other smart devices, a drone that surveys the home (e.g., for roof or siding damage), etc.
