Method and system for the creation, modification and removal of a distributed virtual customer home gateway
The at least one distributed virtual CPE comprising at least one IP Edge node, at least one Carrier Grade NAT node, at least one User Configuration Server and at least one Line Configuration Server, the method creating said at least one distributed virtual CPE upon the reception of traffic from a home in the access line corresponding to said home; modifying said at least one distributed virtual CPE upon a customer request; removing said at least one distributed virtual CPE, upon a traffic inactivity timeout detected in said access line or upon an administrative command; and associating a line identifier and a customer identifier to said at least one distributed virtual CPE, wherein said association, termed vCPE context, is known partially or totally by the at least one IP Edge node, the at least one Carrier Grade NAT, the at least one User Configuration Server and the at least one Line Configuration Server, and is kept active during the whole life cycle of said distributed virtual CPE from the creation to the removal.
METHOD FOR ACCESSING NETWORK BY NETWORK NODE, AND ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT
A first network node having gained access to a preset network receives a probe message broadcast by a second network node seeking access to the preset network. The probe message carries a second Internet Protocol (IP) address of the second network node. If the probe message includes a configuration mechanism identifier, the first network node unicasts a reply message of the probe message to the second network node based on the second IP address. The reply message carries a first IP address of the first network node. The first IP address is configured for establishing a network communication channel between the second network node and the first network node. The first network node sends network configuration information to the second network node through the network communication channel. The network configuration information is configured to allow the second network node to access the preset network.
GLOBAL COMMUNICATION NETWORK SYSTEM BASED ON MICRO BASE STATION AND EDGE COMPUTING
The present disclosure provides a global communication network system based on a micro base station and edge computing, including at least one micro base station. Each micro base station includes an edge computing center, a business network element and a micro base station access network. The comprehensive carrying capability of a wireless network, the regional resource sharing capability, the computing capability of an access terminal, the flexible application capability of the access terminal and user experience of extremely low delay are improved.
CONNECTING ONE ELECTRONIC DEVICE TO INTERNET THROUGH ANOTHER ELECTRONIC DEVICE
Method for connecting a first electronic device to internet through another electronic device and first electronic devices are provided. The method includes: the first electronic device broadcasting an acoustic signal which carries configuration information for configuring access point, where the configuration information includes an access point identifier, where the configuration information can be extracted from the acoustic signal by another electronic device that receives the acoustic signal and can be used to configure the electronic device as an access point; when an access point having the identifier is detected by the first electronic device, sending to the access point a request for connecting to it to access internet service; and connecting to internet through the access point after a notice of permission is received from the access point. The first electronic device connects to internet through another electronic device conveniently without configuring an access point and inputting a password manually.
ENHANCED LOAD BALANCING IN A MOBILE COMMUNICATION NETWORK
A method for enhanced load balancing in a mobile communication network includes indicating, by a home subscriber server, allocation type information and allocation mode information to a mobility management entity. A user equipment is connected or requests to be connected to the mobile communication network using an access point name identifier and a packet data network. The mobility management entity and the home subscriber server are involved in providing communication services of the mobile communication network to the user equipment and/or connecting the user equipment to the mobile communication network. A packet data network gateway is to be selected for providing the communications services of the mobile communication network.
METHOD AND ENTITY FOR TRANSMITTING A PLURALITY OF MAC ADDRESSES
Embodiments of the present disclosure relates to a method and an entity for transmitting a plurality of media access control, MAC, addresses. A method performed at a first entity for transmitting a plurality of media access control, MAC, addresses, comprises: transmitting (S101), to a second entity, a message including a first parameter and a second parameter. The first parameter and the second parameter indicate the plurality of MAC addresses. The plurality of MAC addresses may comprise a plurality of source MAC addresses; and/or a plurality of destination MAC addresses. According to embodiments of the present disclosure, a plurality of MAC addresses may be simultaneously transmitted among the nodes in the communication network, and thus the efficiency of the communication network may be further improved.
Alarm indication and suppression (AIS) mechanism in an ethernet OAM network
A system and method for propagating fault information in an Ethernet OAM network having multiple levels of OAM domains. An Alarm Indication and Suppression (AIS) frame is generated by a Maintenance Intermediate Point (MIP) node upon detecting a fault condition in a first OAM domain, which is transmitted to one or more Maintenance End Points (MEPs) of the first OAM domain. Upon receiving the AIS frames, the MEP nodes are operable generate another AIS frame for propagating to an adjacent higher level second OAM domain. Responsive to the AIS frame from the lower level first OAM domain, any alarms caused in the second OAM domain due to the fault condition in the first OAM domain are suppressed.
System and method for network deployment and management
Systems and methods are disclosed comprising receiving an upstream service signal from a premises. In an aspect, the systems and methods are configured for providing a wireless signal based on the received service signal external to the premises.
Cable modem, apparatus, device and method for a cable modem, apparatus, device and method for a cable communication system
Examples relate to a cable modem, to an apparatus, device and method for a cable modem, and to an apparatus, device and method for a cable communication system. The apparatus or device for the cable modem comprises interface circuitry/communication means for communicating with transceiver circuitry/transceiving means of the cable modem, and processing circuitry/processing means. The processing circuitry/means is configured to determine information on a power level of received transmissions at a plurality of points in time in a plurality of frequency bands of an upstream spectrum via the transceiver circuitry, to determine, for each of the plurality of frequency bands, numeric information on an occurrence of one or more power levels of the received transmissions in the respective frequency band, and aggregate the numeric information on the occurrence of the one or more power levels of the received transmissions by frequency band.
Gateway for Transporting Out-Of-Band Messaging Signals
A Cable Modem Termination System (CMTS) having a gateway configured to output signals on over data tunnels for transfer over a cable network to Customer Premises Equipment (CPE). Each data tunnel is preferably characterized as a one-way data stream of out-of-band (OOB) messaging signals.
