METHOD AND SYSTEM TO TRANSMIT AND RECEIVE DATA PACKETS THROUGH AT LEAST ONE END-TO-END CONNECTION
A method and system for transmitting and receiving data packets between two network nodes via one or more end-to-end connections. An interface is provided for selecting one or more possible end-to-end connection(s) or established end-to-end connection(s). The method and system may further comprise receiving a policy, wherein one or more selected end-to-end connections are established based, at least in part, on the policy. The policy may also restrict or promote selection of certain established end-to-end connection(s) via the interface provided. The selected and established end-to-end connection(s) are used for transmitting and receiving data packets.

A communication system comprises: a first controller controlling a first physical network; and a second controller controlling a second physical network. The first controller comprises: a first unit configured to identify a plurality of communication node included in the first and second physical networks in response to a service(s) requested by a user(s); a second unit configured to identify information regarding positions of the identified plurality of nodes in the first and second physical networks; and a third unit configured to set based on the information regarding the positions a data path(s) that implements the service(s) on the first physical network.

Methods of optimizing transmission of data from a client to a remote data center are disclosed, as well as systems and computer program products related to the same. An exemplary method comprises: receiving data, at a first intervening data center, transmitted from a client and addressed to a terminal data center, wherein the first intervening data center and the terminal data center are selected from a plurality of connected data centers; and transferring the data, from the first intervening data center through one or more additional intervening data centers selected from the plurality of connected data centers, until the data reaches the terminal data center; wherein each data center in the plurality of data centers independently selects a connected data center to transfer the data to based upon the amount of latency and/or bandwidth available at the connected data center.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DYNAMIC ONLINE BACKUP OPTIMIZATION
Methods of optimizing transmission of data from a client to a remote data center are disclosed, as well as systems and computer program products related to the same. An exemplary method comprises: receiving data, at a first intervening data center, transmitted from a client and addressed to a terminal data center, wherein the first intervening data center and the terminal data center are selected from a plurality of connected data centers; and transferring the data, from the first intervening data center through one or more additional intervening data centers selected from the plurality of connected data centers, until the data reaches the terminal data center; wherein each data center in the plurality of data centers independently selects a connected data center to transfer the data to based upon the amount of latency and/or bandwidth available at the connected data center.
Intelligent messaging grid for big data ingestion and/or associated methods
Certain example embodiments relate to an intelligent messaging grid for Big Data ingestion and/or associated methods. Each node in a network of nodes is dynamically configurable to send and/or receive messages using one of brokered and brokerless communication models. At least some of the nodes have a complex event processing (CEP) engine deployed thereto, the CEP engines being configured to operate on messages received by the respective nodes and being classified as one of at least two different types of CEP engines. For each message received by a given node that is to be forwarded to a further node along one of multiple possible paths, the given node is configured to route the message to be forwarded to an intermediate node in one of the possible paths. The intermediate node is selected by the CEP engine of the given node based on metadata associated with the message to be forwarded.
METHOD FOR COMPLETING INTERNET TELEPHONY CALLS
A call between a calling party and a called party, one or both of whom may be subscribers to Internet Telephony (IT) services, commences upon the receipt of a call dialed by the calling party to the Plain Old Telephony Service (POTS) number associated with the calling party. A first hub receives the call and routes it to the called party if that party is not an IT services subscriber that is currently on line. If the called party is an IT services subscriber that is on-line, the call is received at an Internet Services Provider serving the called party. The ISP converts the call to an IT format if the call is not already in that format and thereafter delivers the call to the called party.

Method for completing internet telephony calls

A method is provided for supplementing existing interaction routines in a contact center with added capability including acts for (a) creating at least one rule having at least one rule attribute; (b) creating one or more processes, the processes integral to the rule; (c) defining the at least one rule and integral processes as a strategy; and (d) linking the strategy to the interaction routine, the link serving to cause execution of the strategy during an interaction between an entity and the routine, execution thereof promoting further interaction defined in the strategy.

A distributed graph sampling system includes storage nodes that store a graph, a network switch that orchestrates accelerated sampling of the graph, and a compute node that processes a sample of the graph with a GNN. The graph sampling operations are distributed across the storage nodes. Each storage node may store a subgraph (e.g., a portion of the graph) and generate a sample of the subgraph.
