Channel estimation for two-stage sidelink control using sidelink data channel DMRS
Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for channel estimation for two-stage sidelink control using sidelink data channel demodulation reference signals (DMRS). A user equipment (UE) can transmit DMRS for the sidelink data channel. The UE may transmit the second stage of the sidelink control using antenna ports or a precoder used for the sidelink data channel. The receiving device may receive the DMRS, estimate the channel, and demodulate the second stage of the sidelink control based on the estimated channel. The receiving device may flexibly determine the DMRS to use for the estimation and demodulation.
COMMUNICATION METHOD AND COMMUNICATION APPARATUS
This disclosure provides a communication method and a communication apparatus. The method is applied to a software baseband architecture receiver, and the method includes: receiving a first signal; allocating a processing resource to the first signal based on parameter information of the first signal, where the processing resource includes at least one of a processing algorithm for channel estimation (CE) or a processing algorithm for multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) detection; and performing CE and MIMO detection on the first signal based on the processing resource.
Electronic device, method and apparatus for wireless communication system for channel estimation
An electronic device and method for wireless communication system, and a storage medium. In the method, reference signal are carried merely on a part of communication sources for channel estimation, channel states on the communication resources carrying the reference signal are estimated, and conditions of channel paths from a transmitter to a receiver are estimated by using the estimated channel states of the communication resources. Thereby, channel states on other communication resources from the transmitter to the receiver can be obtained from the estimated channel path conditions.
DATA-AIDED SSB SIGNAL PROCESSING
In an aspect of the disclosure, a method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided. The apparatus may be a UE. The UE receives a target SSB from a base station. The UE obtains received data carried in a broadcast channel of the target SSB. The UE reconstructs, based on received data carried in a broadcast channel of a previously received SSB, transmitted data placed in the broadcast channel of the target SSB at the base station. The UE preforms a channel estimation and/or synchronization based on a comparison of the received data and the transmitted data of the target SSB.
Transmitter equalization
A method includes transmitting, by a transmitter and over a transmit channel to a remote device, a signal that includes a plurality of signal points and receiving, by a receiver and over a receive channel from the remote device, a response signal that includes a plurality of response points corresponding to the plurality of signal points. The method also includes adjusting the plurality of signal points of the signal until logical values of the plurality of response points invert to produce an adjusted signal, estimating, based on the adjusted signal, a pulse response of the transmit channel, and applying equalization in the transmitter based on the estimated pulse response to reduce an effect of the pulse response on the signal.
TECHNIQUES FOR SUBCARRIER TONE RESERVATION
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive an indication that tone reservation is to be applied to one or more subcarriers for one or more downlink communications. The UE may transmit one or more uplink signals, using the one or more subcarriers, for measurement by a base station. The UE may receive the one or more downlink communications having the tone reservation applied to the one or more subcarriers, the one or more subcarriers having tone reservation applied based at least in part on the measurement of the one or more uplink signals on the one or more subcarriers. Numerous other aspects are described.
Modulation scheme in a wireless communication system
A system and method of DFT-S-OFDM modulation is provided that uses a set of frequency domain patterns. For a given transmitter, for a set of DFT-S-OFDM symbols, the frequency domain pattern changes according to a time domain hopping pattern. Advantageously, the time domain hopping patterns are defined to allow only a certain amount of overlap, for example for only one DFT-S-OFDM symbol, between any two time domain hopping patterns. This functions to reduce the effect of a collision, when two transmitters use the same frequency pattern, they will do so only for part of the overall transmission. Optionally, frequency domain spectral spreading is used in the transmitter. This can further reduce the PAPR. In the receiver, successive interference cancellation may be employed to reduce the effect of colliding transmissions.
Wireless communication device and channel estimation method thereof
The present disclosure relates to a channel estimation method of a wireless communication device. The channel estimation method includes descrambling a pilot signal having a unit symbol, dividing the descrambled pilot signal, and estimating a channel value of the wireless communication device. The descrambled pilot signal may be divided into a plurality of frequency resources with a first frequency resource and a second frequency resource and generating a first signal chunk with the first frequency resource and a second signal chunk with the second frequency resource. The channel value of the wireless communication device may be estimated based on the first signal chunk and the second signal chunk.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR ESTIMATING A TRANSMISSION CHANNEL OF A COMMUNICATION LINK
A system and a method for estimating a transmission channel of a communication link. A transmitter can transmit a first transmission signal and a receiver can receive the first transmission signal through the transmission channel. The first transmission signal includes data elements and pilots, each of the pilots being located at specified locations within a time-frequency domain of the first transmission signal. The receiver can determine a level of interference for each of the pilots, the level of interference being indicative of an extent of distortion on a respective pilot caused by a second transmission signal interfering with the first transmission signal. The receiver can further determine an interference-mitigated pilot for each pilot based on the determined level of interference determined for each respective pilot. The receiver can use the determined interference-mitigated pilots to estimate the transmission channel of the first transmission signal.
COMPRESSED CHANNEL AWARE TONE RESERVATION SIGNALING FOR PEAK-TO-AVERAGE POWER RATIO REDUCTION
Aspects presented herein may enable a transmitting device, such as a base station, to compress tone reservation signaling for PAPR reduction, such that the transmitting device may indicate to a receiving device the location of reserved tones and data tones of a transmission with a small payload. In one aspect, a base station estimates an UL channel based on one or more SRSs from a UE, the estimated UL channel corresponding to a DL channel. The base station selects a plurality of TR locations associated with at least one of the DL channel or the UL channel. The base station transmits, to the UE, an indication of the plurality of TR locations associated with at least one of the DL channel or the UL channel.
