A first antenna associated with the first circuitry transmits the signals in the first format into the interior of the building via a wireless communications link and receives signals from the interior of the building in the first format via the wireless communications link. First power circuitry provides system power to each of the first circuitry and the first antenna responsive to a provided power signal. Second circuitry, located on the interior of the building and communicatively linked with the first circuitry via the wireless communications link, for receives and transmits the converted received signals in the first format that counteracts the losses caused by penetrating into the interior of the building from/to the first circuitry. A second antenna associated with the second circuitry transmits the signals in the first format to the exterior of the building via the wireless communications link and for receives signals from the exterior of the building in the first format via the wireless communications link. Second power circuitry provides system power to each of the second circuitry and the second antenna responsive to a generated power signal. First wireless power transmission circuitry located on the interior of the building generates a wireless power signal for transmission to the exterior of the building over a wireless power link responsive to the provided power signal. Second wireless power transmission circuitry located on the exterior of the building receives the wireless power signal over the wireless power link and generates the generated power signal responsive to the wireless power signal.

This document discloses a solution for detecting interference in a radio access network. According to an aspect, a method includes as performed by a network node of the radio access network: acquiring a first equalized signal representing a signal received by a first radio head serving a terminal device, the first equalized signal including a signal received by the first radio head from the terminal device; acquiring a second equalized signal representing a signal received by a second radio head not serving the terminal device, wherein the second radio head is spatially distant from the first radio head; cross-correlating the first equalized signal with the second equalized signal and determining, on the basis of said cross-correlating, whether or not the second equalized signal also includes a signal received from the terminal device; and as a result of the second equalized signal being determined to include the signal received from the terminal device, causing execution of an interference management action.

Methods and apparatus for successive interference cancellation (SIC). In an embodiment, a method includes receiving symbols from a plurality of user equipment (UE), identify a target UE and non-target UEs, decoding code blocks from the symbols received from the non-target UEs to generate decoded bits for each code block. The method also includes performing a CRC check on each code block to generate a tag (0) when the CRC check passes and a tag (1) when the CRC check fails, and re-encoding the decoded bits to generate re-encoded code blocks having the associated tags attached. The method also includes reconstructing symbols from the re-encoded code blocks where symbols reconstructed from re-encoded code blocks having tag (0) are reconstructed with data and symbols reconstructed from re-encoded code blocks having tag (1) are reconstructed as zero value symbols, and utilizing the reconstructed symbols to cancel interference on symbols from the target UE.
