Apparatus and method for reducing peak to average power ratio in a signal
A method for processing a stream of data represented by a plurality of symbols associated with a constellation. The method includes applying a symbol constellation extension projection to at least one of the plurality of symbols, the symbol constellation extension projection having an outward angular region, the outward angular region defined by a value of an angle, and the value of the angle equal to or less than an angular distance between two symbols in the constellation. The value of the angle is based on a constellation and a code rate used for encoding and transmitting the stream of data.
OFDM WITH HYBRID GAP AND INDEX MODULATION
A method based on orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) called OFDM-subcarrier gap and index modulation (OFDM-SGIM) is proposed in which the gaps between the active subcarriers are exploited to transmit extra bits alongside the conventional QAM symbols. Thereafter, the index modulation is combined with the new proposed OFDM-based scheme to guarantee a fixed subblock size.
ENHANCED PHASE TRACKING REFERENCE SIGNAL FOR DIGITAL POST DISTORTION ASSIST
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first wireless device may identify a set of data resource elements for transmitting data in one or more symbols periods. The first wireless device may generate, for the one or more symbol periods based on the set of data resource elements, a sequence of a set of pilot resource elements associated with the set of data resource elements, the sequence of the set of pilot resource elements including a phase tracking reference signal. The first wireless device may transmit, to a second wireless device in the one or more symbol periods, the set of data resource elements and the set of pilot resource elements. The second wireless device may decode a first subset of the set of pilot resource elements based on a second subset of the set of pilot resource elements to determine the phase tracking reference signal.
Method and device for transmitting/receiving signal in wireless communication system
A method and device for transmitting/receiving a signal in a wireless communication system according to an embodiment of the present invention may comprise: repeatedly mapping a PUCCH sequence to each of resource blocks (RBs) in an interlace; and transmitting a PUCCH on the interlace, wherein the CS value of the PUCCH sequence may vary on the basis of values determined by multiplying RB indexes of the respective RBs by a Δ value.
RF power amplifier performance by clipping prevention of large PAPR signals
Preventing RF signal distortion and signal error producing memory events in a Radio Frequency (RF) power amplifier (RFPA). An element, disposed prior to the Radio Frequency (RF) power amplifier (RFPA) in a signal path of a RF signal input to the RFPA, may enforce a maximum allowable amplitude in a high PAPR instantaneous high peak of the RF signal. An element may also increase or supplement a bias of the Radio Frequency (RF) power amplifier (RFPA) when a high PAPR instantaneous high peak is detected in the RF signal prior to receipt by the RFPA. Additionally, a first element operable detects when an instantaneous output voltage of the Radio Frequency (RF) power amplifier (RFPA) is below a predetermined voltage, and in response, a second element supplies additional current to prevent the output voltage of the RFPA from falling below a predetermined threshold voltage.
APPARATUS, METHOD, AND COMPUTER PROGRAM
An apparatus comprising: at least one processor; and at least one memory including computer program code; the at least one memory and the computer program code configured to, with the at least one processor, cause the apparatus at least to: generate (606) a synchronization signal for transmission over one or more symbols, wherein the number of symbols is dependent on a subcarrier spacing.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR TRANSMITTING PPDU IN WIRELESS LAN SYSTEM
A method and a device for transmitting a PPDU in a WLAN system are proposed. Specifically, a transmission device generates a PPDU and transmits the PPDU to a reception device through a 320 MHz band. The PPDU includes a legacy preamble and an EHT field, and the legacy preamble includes an L-STF and an L-LTF. The legacy preamble is generated by applying a first phase rotation value or a second phase rotation value. The first phase rotation value is obtained based on a third phase rotation value and a fourth phase rotation value. The third phase rotation value is a phase rotation value obtained by repeating a phase rotation value defined when the PPDU is transmitted in an 80 MHz band four times. The fourth phase rotation value is a phase rotation value defined for each 80 MHz band in the 320 MHz band based on an optimal PAPR of the L-STF.
SEQUENCE GENERATION METHOD AND DEVICE, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
Disclosed are a sequence generation method, a sequence generation apparatus and a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium. The sequence generation method may include generating a first sequence according to a pre-generated random sequence, and using the first sequence as a reference signal sequence. The first sequence has a plurality of elements which are all in a form of complex numbers and have a same modulus value, a phase difference between two adjacent elements is less than π/2, and the modulus value is an amplitude value indicating signal strength.
SPURIOUS SIGNAL DETECTION
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a wireless device may obtain, in a frequency range, device-specific data for use in determining at least one of a frequency or a power of a spurious signal. The wireless device may generate, based at least in part on the device-specific data, information that indicates the at least one of the frequency or the power of the spurious signal. Numerous other aspects are described.
Method and apparatus for transmitting PPDU in broadband having preamble puncturing performed in wireless LAN system
A method and apparatus for transmitting PPDU in a wireless LAN system are proposed. Specifically, a transmitter generates the PPDU, and transmits the PPDU to a receiver through a 320 MHz band in which some bands are punctured. The PPDU includes a legacy preamble and an EHT field. The legacy preamble includes L-STF and L-LTF. The legacy preamble is generated by applying a first phase rotation value or a second phase rotation value. The first phase rotation value is obtained on the basis of a third phase rotation value and a fourth phase rotation value. The third phase rotation value is a phase rotation value having repeated a phase rotation value defined for an 80 MHz band in an 802.11ax system. The fourth phase rotation value is a phase rotation value defined in units of the 80 MHz band in the 320 MHZ band on the basis of an optimal PAPR of the L-LTF.
