DATA-COLLECTING APPARATUS
A data-collecting apparatus collects, from at least one piece of facility equipment, operation data of the facility equipment. The data-collecting apparatus includes a communication unit connected to a network, and a data-collecting unit. The network connects a management apparatus that manages the facility equipment, and the facility equipment. The data-collecting unit collects, with the communication unit, the operation data from the facility equipment based on a second collection condition different from a first collection condition at a time when the management apparatus collects the operation data from the facility equipment.
Mobile device protocol health monitoring system
A method and apparatus for use in a mobile device telemetry system is disclosed. The method and apparatus relate to aspects in a mobile device protocol health monitoring system. The method and apparatus provide a system to monitor and assess protocol health, log protocol health data and communicate the logs of protocol health data to a remote system. The system may also take corrective actions based upon specific indications of protocol health. The method and apparatus also provides protocol health indications and corrective actions based upon monitoring the message transmission rate. The method and apparatus also provides protocol health indications and corrective actions based upon monitoring for a line disconnect.

Bandwidth management
A method of estimating available bandwidth for a network comprising a transmitting device and a receiving device, the method comprising: transmitting a media packet stream over the network to the receiving device, the media packets comprising media data for streaming media at the receiving device; transmitting one or more probe packets over the network so as to test the available bandwidth of the network, wherein the probe packets comprise duplicate data of the media packet stream; and determining, during transmission of the probe packets, a measure of network bandwidth availability in dependence on one or more metrics associated with receiving the media packet stream at the receiving device.
Multi-path user datagram protocol
The field of the disclosure is the transfer of digital data, particularly multimedia data, from a source to a user of that data using multiple data carrying paths/links/channels.

Application based dynamic control of modem datapath behavior
Methods and systems for providing software applications on a client device with dynamic control over low-latency mode (LLM) operations of the client device. The client device may monitor downlink data packets of a client software application operating on the client device to detect trigger events. The client device may determine operating parameters of the modem based on a detected trigger event and dynamically adjust the low-latency mode of the modem based on the detect trigger event or the determined operating parameters.

Reducing bandwidth requirements of virtual collaboration sessions
A computer-implemented method, a computer system and a computer program product reduce bandwidth requirements of a virtual collaboration session. The method includes capturing session data from a virtual collaboration session. The session data is selected from a group consisting of video data, audio data, an image of a screen of a connected device and text data. The method also includes connecting to a live blog platform. The method further includes transmitting a text transcription of the virtual collaboration session to the live blog platform. The text transcription is generated by scanning the audio data using a speech-to-text algorithm. In addition, the method includes classifying a topic in the virtual collaboration session based on importance. Lastly, the method includes transmitting a multimedia file related to the topic to the live blog platform in response to the topic being classified as important. The multimedia file is extracted from the session data.
