Messaging between remote controller and forwarding element
Some embodiments of the invention provide a forwarding element that can be configured through in-band data-plane messages from a remote controller that is a physically separate machine from the forwarding element. The forwarding element of some embodiments has data plane circuits that include several configurable message-processing stages, several storage queues, and a data-plane configurator. A set of one or more message-processing stages of the data plane are configured (1) to process configuration messages received by the data plane from the remote controller and (2) to store the configuration messages in a set of one or more storage queues. The data-plane configurator receives the configuration messages stored in the set of storage queues and configures one or more of the configurable message-processing stages based on configuration data in the configuration messages.

INTERNET PROTOCOL VERSION 6 (IPV6) BASED WIRELESS NETWORK COMMUNICATION METHOD AND COMMUNICATION DEVICE
An Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) based wireless network communication method and a communication device are provided. The method includes: determining a transmission path of a plaintext IPv6 packet based on a TEID field of the plaintext IPv6 packet, where the TEID field indicates a bearer to which the plaintext IPv6 packet belongs; and transmitting the plaintext IPv6 packet on the determined transmission path of the plaintext IPv6 packet.
DISTRIBUTED DATA GRID ROUTING FOR CLUSTERS MANAGED USING CONTAINER ORCHESTRATION SERVICES
A cloud-native architecture for containerized systems using consistent hashing routing is described. A reverse proxy server executing on a container-based cluster of compute nodes managed using a container orchestration service may determine a current data grid topology. The reverse proxy server may receive a first request from a first client device to retrieve first data from the container-based cluster of compute nodes. The request may be parsed to determine a key of a key-value pair and a hash value may be computed using the key. A consistent hashing algorithm may be executed to determine a node associated with the hash value. The first data may be retrieved from the node using the hash value. The first data may be sent to the first client device.

Information processing apparatus and packet control method
An information processing apparatus includes a first memory, a second memory, and a control circuit. The first memory stores a first table where entries, which indicate forwarding methods for packets, are stored at positions corresponding to hash values calculated from header information of the packets. The second memory stores a second table that is larger than the first table. The control circuit detects, when the first table is updated, a conflict state where there is conflict between storage positions of different entries in the first table. The control circuit moves entries stored in the first table to the second table in response to the detecting of the conflict state. The control circuit detects resolution of the conflict state when the second table is updated. In response to the detecting of the resolution, the control circuit moves the entries stored in the second table to the first table.

Upgrading user space networking stacks without disruptions to network traffic
Described embodiments provide systems and methods for upgrading user space networking stacks without disruptions to network traffic. A first packet engine can read connection information of existing connections of a second packet engine written to a shared memory region by the second packet engine. The first packet engine can establish one or more virtual connections according to the connection information of existing connections of the second packet engine. Each of the first packet engine and the second packet engine can receive mirrored traffic data. The first packet engine can receive a first packet and determine that the first packet is associated with a virtual connection corresponding to an existing connection of the second packet engine. The first packet engine can drop the first packet responsive to the determination that the first packet is associated with the virtual connection.
STATEFUL SERVICES ON STATELESS CLUSTERED EDGE
In order to enable dynamic scaling of network services at the edge, novel systems and methods are provided to enable addition of add new nodes or removal of existing nodes while retaining the affinity of the flows through the stateful services. The methods provide a cluster of network nodes that can be dynamically resized to handle and process network traffic that utilizes stateful network services. The existing traffic flows through the edge continue to function during and after the changes to membership of the cluster. All nodes in the cluster operate in active-active mode, i.e., they are receiving and processing traffic flows, thereby maximizing the utilization of the available processing power.
