TECHNIQUES TO CONFIGURE PHYSICAL COMPUTE RESOURCES FOR WORKLOADS VIA CIRCUIT SWITCHING
20220103446 · 2022-03-31 ·

Embodiments are generally directed apparatuses, methods, techniques and so forth to select two or more processing units of the plurality of processing units to process a workload, and configure a circuit switch to link the two or more processing units to process the workload, the two or more processing units each linked to each other via paths of communication and the circuit switch.

Facilitation of dynamic edge computations for 6G or other next generation network

Peripheral devices such as wearables can link to mobile devices to access network elements. These peripheral devices can comprise a communication part and a processing part. Each of these parts, specially the processing part of the next item in a communication chain, can be multiple times larger and stronger than the previous linked item. For instance, the peripheral device can be connected to the mobile device which can be in line connected to an NodeB device. Because the processing power of mobile device can be several times stronger than the peripheral, a mobile edge computing platform and a multi-access application function facilitate sharing of processing power capabilities between the peripheral devices, mobile devices, and/or the NodeB devices.

Virtual workspace experience visualization and optimization

A computer system to track and enhance performance of a virtual workspace system is provided. The computer system receives requests to profile phases of a distributed process executed by hosts coupled to one another via a network. Each of phase includes operations executed by processes hosted by the hosts. Each of phase either starts with receipt of a request via a user interface of a virtualization client or ends with provision of a response to the request via the user interface. The computer system identifies event log entries that each include an identifier of an event marking a start or an end of one of the operations, constructs a performance profile based on the event log entries, and transmits the performance profile to the user interface.

System and method for optimal resource allocation for customer related services

The present disclosure relates generally to an improvement in computer processing to achieve a new outcome in real time with lower processing requirements and more particularly to a system and method for optimal resource allocation implemented in real time with lower processing requirements to increase responsiveness. When an electronically formatted resource response is received by a central server processing subsystem, the electronically formatted resource response is analysed first for a unique offer identifier at entry to the central server processing subsystem to identify the offer and then for an accept or decline marker.

Always-On Packet Data Unit Session Indication

A session management function (SMF) receives, from a wireless device, an indication that an always-on packet data unit (PDU) session is requested. The SMF determines to establish the PDU session as an always-on PDU session based on: the indication that the always-on PDU session is requested; and the PDU session being for an ultra-reliable low-latency communication (URLLC) service. The SMF sends, to the wireless device, an indication that the PDU session is to be established as the always-on PDU session.

Techniques to verify and authenticate resources in a data center computer environment

Embodiments are generally directed apparatuses, methods, techniques and so forth to receive a sled manifest comprising identifiers for physical resources of a sled, receive results of an authentication and validation operations performed to authenticate and validate the physical resources of the sled, determine whether the results of the authentication and validation operations indicate the physical resources are authenticate or not authenticate. Further and in response to the determination that the results indicate the physical resources are authenticated, permit the physical resources to process a workload, and in response to the determination that the results indicate the physical resources are not authenticated, prevent the physical resources from processing the workload.

DYNAMIC VISUALIZATION OF REQUESTS TRAVELING THROUGH A MICROSERVICE MESH
20220070112 · 2022-03-03 ·

A method includes, in response to receiving a request for a graphical visualization of a microservice mesh comprising one or more nodes, obtaining information associated with services operating at the one or more nodes and connections between the one or more nodes. The method further includes determining, in view of the information, one or more types of requests associated with each of the services. The method further includes generating the graphical visualization of the microservice mesh. The graphical visualization includes a first vertex corresponding to a particular service and a second vertex corresponding to a type of a request received by the service. The first vertex and second vertex are connected by an edge that corresponds to the request.

AF initiated always-on PDU session

A policy control function (PCF) receives a first message from an application function (AF). The first message comprises: an always-on PDU session requested indication; an identity of a wireless device; and application service information. The PCF maps, based on the first message, the application service information to an always-on PDU Session for the wireless device. The PCF sends to a session management function (SMF), at least one policy and charging rule for the always-on PDU Session.
