AUTHORIZATIONS ASSOCIATED WITH EXTERNALLY SHARED COMMUNICATION RESOURCES
Various embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to a group-based communication apparatus that is configured to enable end-users (e.g., non-admin users) to initiate, by way of client devices, generation of a shareable resource associated with a group-based communication resource identifier to efficiently authorize communication between client devices associated with different organization identifiers in group-based communication interfaces associated with a shared group-based communication resource identifier.
Third-party network computational resource utilization
A computing system disposed within a computational instance of a remote network management platform remotely manages a managed network that uses computational resources of a third-party network to deploy operations. The computing system may obtain a utilization policy that identifies (i) particular computational resources of the third-party network used to deploy a particular operation and (ii) a time period during which the particular computational resources can be used. The computing system may be configured to: obtain a utilization report that identifies (i) the computational resources used to deploy the operations and (ii) times at which the computational resources were used; determine that the particular computational resources deployed the particular operation outside the time period identified by the utilization policy; generate a report indicating that the particular computational resources deployed the particular operation outside the time period; and provide the report to the managed network.
Determining hardware requirements for a wireless network event using crowdsourcing
Systems and methods for determining hardware requirements for a wireless network event are disclosed. In embodiments, a method comprises obtaining, by a computing device, social user data over a period of time from a plurality of mobile devices associated with a social event at a location; obtaining, by the computing device, bandwidth usage data for each of the plurality of mobile devices based on the social user data; obtaining, by the computing device, crowd density and traffic pattern data related to the social event; determining, by the computing device, participant movement data for the social event based on the crowd density and traffic pattern data; deriving, by the computing device, a social bandwidth density model based on the bandwidth usage data and the participant movement data; and determining, by the computing device, bandwidth requirements within a geo-spatial boundary associated with the social event from the social bandwidth density model.
SUPPORT APPARATUS AND METHOD
A support apparatus and method are capable of facilitating work to optimize deployment locations of information processing resources and are respectively allocated to one or more allocation targets. A deployment location candidate is calculated, which is an appropriate deployment location of each of the information processing resources allocated to each of the allocation targets, and a reducible cost is determined when the information processing resource is allocated to the deployment location candidate, with respect to each information processing resource. The reducible cost is displayed when the deployment of the information processing resource allocated to the allocation target is optimized, and the importance of the allocation target is determined by associating the reducible cost with the importance of the allocation target with respect to each allocation target on the basis of the calculation result of the reducible cost for each information processing resource.
SERVICE ALLOCATION ACROSS MULTI-MANAGED HETEROGENEOUS NETWORKS
Techniques are described to provide to provide service allocation across multi-managed heterogeneous networks. In one example, a method includes determining, by an application network policy controller, service information for an application, wherein the application communicates with an application server. The method may further include identifying one or more network domains of a plurality of network domains to provide network connectivity between the application and the application server based, at least in part, on service qualifiers and context information for the plurality of network domains and the service information for the application; generating an application policy for the application, wherein the application policy identifies, at least in part, the one or more network domains to provide network connectivity between the application and the application server; and communicating the application policy to the one or more identified network domains to provide network connectivity between the application and the application server.
Methods and apparatus for routine based fog networking
Methods and apparatus for organizing a distributed network based on routine usage data. In one exemplary embodiment, devices analyze routine usage data via e.g., machine learning and/or other heuristics to determine a set of routine rules and/or routine trigger conditions. Multiple devices may be assigned routine rules and/or routine trigger conditions that establish a fog network. Various described embodiments may incorporate time-shifted control plane operation and/or ledger-based control plane operation; these variants do not require central network management. Other optimizations may include dynamic selection of network topologies and/or routing technologies.
SYSTEM FOR CONSOLIDATING AND PROCESSING MULTIPLE RESOURCE REQUESTS
Embodiments of the present invention provide a system for consolidating and processing multiple resource requests. The system is configured for receiving at least two resource requests from a first user, identifying that the at least two resource requests are associated with a second user, consolidating the at least two resource requests, and processing the consolidated at least two resource requests.
User defined quality-control resource usage
Techniques for user-defined quality control of resource usage are provided. In one technique, resource split data is received that indicates a split of a total resource amount that is associated with a content delivery campaign. In response, based on the split, a first resource amount and a second resource amount is determined, each a subset of the total resource amount. The first resource amount is associated with a first utilization strategy and a first mapping function and the second resource amount is associated with a second utilization strategy and a second mapping function. In response to receiving a request from a client device, an entity of the client device is determined and associated with the first mapping function. A quality score of the entity is determined and, based on the first mapping function and the quality score, an adjustment factor is determined. A content item selection event is conducted based on the adjustment factor.
METHODS AND APPARATUS TO PROVIDE A CUSTOM INSTALLABLE OPEN VIRTUALIZATION APPLICATION FILE FOR ON-PREMISE INSTALLATION VIA THE CLOUD
Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture to provide a custom installable open virtualization application file for on-premise installation via the cloud are disclosed. An example apparatus includes a resource processor to determine a resource capacity for an agent in a private cloud network; a file manipulator to modify an open virtualization appliance (OVA) file by modifying a descriptor file of the OVA file to configure the resource capacity for the agent in the private cloud network, the OVA file being deployed in a public cloud network; and a first interface to transmit an indication to a location of the modified OVA file to a user device, the location of the modified OVA file being the same location as the OVA file.
