Techniques for excess resource utilization
Techniques to utilize excess resources in a cloud system, such as by enabling an auxiliary resource utilizer to use resources while they are not needed to support primary resource utilizers, are described herein. Some embodiments are directed to identifying and allocating excess capacity of resources in a cloud system to auxiliary resource utilizers based on one or more policies. In various embodiments, excess resources in one or more of the set of resources in the cloud system, or cloud resources, may be determined based on monitoring utilization of the cloud resources by the primary resource utilizers. In many embodiments, an auxiliary resource utilizer that is in compliance with a set of utilization policies may be identified and the excess resources may be allocated to the auxiliary resource utilizer.
TENANT-DRIVEN DYNAMIC RESOURCE ALLOCATION FOR VIRTUAL NETWORK FUNCTIONS
Techniques for tenant-driven dynamic resource allocation in network functions virtualization infrastructure (NFVI). In one example, an orchestration system is operated by a data center provider for a data center and that orchestration system comprises processing circuitry coupled to a memory; logic stored in the memory and configured for execution by the processing circuitry, wherein the logic is operative to: compute an aggregate bandwidth for a plurality of flows associated with a tenant of the data center provider and processed by a virtual network function, assigned to the tenant, executing on a server of the data center; and modify, based on the aggregate bandwidth, an allocation of compute resources of the server executing the virtual network function.
MULTI-TENANT RESOURCE MANAGEMENT IN A GATEWAY
Described herein are systems, methods, and software to manage resources in a gateway shared by multiple tenants. In one example, a system may monitor usage of resources by a tenant of the gateway and compare the usage with usage limits associated with the resources. The system may further determine when the usage of a resource exceeds a usage limit associated with the resource and, when the usage of the resource exceeds the usage limit, identify an operation associated with causing the usage limit to be exceeded and blocking the operation.
Abstraction layer to cloud services
Aspects of the disclosure relate to providing cloud computing resources from one or more cloud service providers for a client computing device through a computing platform. The client computing device may benefit from an economy of scale while being able to obtain different types of cloud services over a plurality of cloud providers. The client computing device may request an initial amount of cloud services and subsequently may request cloud services that utilize a requested amount of cloud resources. The requested amount of cloud resources may be apportioned among the plurality of cloud service providers, to provide the requested cloud service. The computing platform may also support a cloud abstraction layer interacting between client computing device and one or more cloud providers so that the client computing device can obtain cloud service in a transparent manner.
Method and system for changing resource state, terminal, and storage medium
The present disclosure discloses a method and apparatus for changing a resource state, a terminal, and a storage medium, which belong to the field of smart home. A system for changing a resource state that includes a first collection resource, a first intermediate-level resource, and leaf node resources can be established. By making the first collection resource obtain link information of each leaf node resource whose resource state needs to be changed, a request that includes a default interface of the leaf node resource may be generated for the leaf node resource, such that a state of the leaf node resource can be changed accurately by the system. Therefore, the present disclosure enables the control request issued by a client to be recognized and executed by each leaf node resource, thereby increasing reliability and stability of system control.
Application mapping and alerting based on data dependencies
Aspects of the disclosure relate to application mapping and alerting based on data dependencies in business and technology logic. In some embodiments, a computing platform may receive a request to map enterprise technology resources. Then, the computing platform may generate a business capability model. Next, the computing platform may cause a user computing device to display a graphical user interface comprising selectable graphical representations of applications associated with the enterprise technology resources. Then, the computing platform may receive a user input identifying an occurrence of a technology incident by selecting one of the graphical representations. In response to the selection, the computing platform may trace, using the generated business capability model, upstream or downstream impacts of the technology incident. Then, the computing platform may cause a visual representation of data dependencies indicating upstream or downstream impacts of the technology incident to be displayed on the user computing device.
Managing cloud acquisitions using distributed ledgers
Systems and methods of the disclosure include: receiving, by a cloud resource provisioning component via a cloud provisioning request application programming interface (API), a cloud resource request; storing the cloud resource request on a cryptographically-protected distributed ledger; receiving, from a first cloud provider, a first cloud resource offer responsive to the cloud resource request; and responsive to receiving, from a node of the cryptographically-protected distributed ledger, a notification of validation of the first cloud resource offer with respect to the cloud resource request, causing the first cloud provider to provision a cloud resource specified by the first cloud resource offer.
DYNAMIC ALLOCATION OF COMPUTING RESOURCES
The exemplary embodiments disclose a method, a computer program product, and a computer system for allocating computing resources. The exemplary embodiments may include collecting data of one or more users, wherein the collected data comprises calendar data of the one or more users, extracting one or more features from the collected data, and allocating one or more computing resources to one or more of the users based on the extracted one or more features and one or more models.
ENHANCED REDEPLOYING OF COMPUTING RESOURCES
Examples described herein relate to method, resource management system, and non-transitory machine-readable medium for redeploying a computing resource. Data related to a performance parameter corresponding to a plurality of computing resources deployed on a plurality of host-computing nodes may be received. The performance parameter is associated with one or both of: communication between computing resources of the plurality of computing resources, or communication of the plurality of computing resources with a network device. Further, for a computing resource of the plurality of computing resources, a candidate host-computing node is determined from the plurality of host-computing nodes based on the data related to the performance parameter and the computing resource may be redeployed on the candidate host-computing node.
COMMUNICATION METHOD, APPARATUS, AND SYSTEM
Embodiments of this application provide a communication method, apparatus. One example method includes: a first data analytics network element receive a first request from a sec data analytics network element, wherein the first request carries an analytics type identifier and second model requirement information, and the first request requests information of a model that corresponds to the analytics type identifier and meets the second model requirement information. The second data analytics network element receives the information of the model from the first data analytics network element.
