Closed loop resource distribution platform
A closed loop processing interaction network in which the resource pool source of the user and the resource pool destination are both within the same organization or group of organizations. As such, resources associated with interactions may be distributed directly between the resource pools of the members within the interaction network without having to use the traditional processing networks. The interactions may occur through communication between user computer systems (e.g., mobile devices, or the like) and/or interaction terminals of product providers (e.g., mobile devices, or the like) that are able to handle both traditional processing, as well as closed loop processing. The closed loop interaction network improves the processing speeds, memory requirements, security, and costs associated with processing resources related to interactions.
Authorizations associated with externally shared communication resources
Various embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to a group-based communication apparatus that is configured to enable end-users (e.g., non-admin users) to initiate, by way of client devices, generation of a shareable resource associated with a group-based communication resource identifier to efficiently authorize communication between client devices associated with different organization identifiers in group-based communication interfaces associated with a shared group-based communication resource identifier.
Partitioning health monitoring in a global server load balancing system
Some embodiments provide a novel method of performing health monitoring for resources associated with a global server load balancing (GSLB) system. This system is implemented by several domain name system (DNS) servers that perform DNS services for resources located at several geographically separate sites. The method identifies several different groupings of the resources. It then assigns the health monitoring of the different resource groups to different DNS servers. The method then configures each particular DNS server (1) to send health monitoring messages to the particular group of resources assigned to the particular DNS server, (2) to generate data by analyzing responses to the sent health monitoring messages, and (3) to distribute the generated data to the other DNS servers. The method in some embodiments is performed by a set of one or more controllers.
COMPOSITIONAL REASONING TECHNIQUES FOR ROLE REACHABILITY ANALYSES IN IDENTITY SYSTEMS
Techniques are described for using compositional reasoning techniques to perform role reachability analyses relative to collections of user accounts and roles of a cloud provider network. Delegated role-based resource management generally is a method for controlling access to resources in cloud provider networks and other distributed systems. Many cloud provider networks, for example, implement identity and access management subsystems using this approach, where the concept of “roles” is used to specify which resources can be accessed by people, software, or (recursively) by other roles. An abstraction of the role reachability analysis is provided that can be used as input to a model-checking application to reason about such role reachability questions (e.g., which roles of an organization are reachable from other roles).
FEEDBACK CONTROL BASED LOAD BALANCING FOR CONTAINERIZED WORKLOADS
System and methods are described for performing load balancing by continually collecting real-time metrics values from a plurality of endpoints in a cloud computing system, the real-time metrics values representing current performance measurements of processing by the endpoints, and using the collected real-time metrics values by a controller to continually determine a current weight value for each endpoint, the current weight value representing a probability that the endpoint will be selected to process a user request. The method includes receiving the user request for the cloud computing system to perform requested processing; selecting an endpoint of the cloud computing system to process the user request based at least in part on the current weight values of the endpoints; and sending the user request to the selected endpoint.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR TRANSMISSION AND RECEPTION OF GROUPCAST AND BROADCAST DATA IN WIRELESS CELLULAR COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
The disclosure relates to converging a 5th-Generation (5G) communication system for supporting higher data rates beyond a 4th-Generation (4G) system with a technology for Internet of Things (IoT), and may be applied to intelligent services based on the 5G communication technology and IoT-related technology. To do so, a method and apparatus are provided for transmitting groupcast/broadcast/multicast data and control information in the downlink and uplink. The method and apparatus include features for transmitting to a user equipment (UE), configuration information for multicast and broadcast services (MBS), encoding a first bit sequence for the MBS based on a channel coding, identifying a transport block size (TBS) for limited buffer rate matching (LBRM) based on the configuration information, performing the LBRM to the encoded first bit sequence based on the identified TBS, and transmitting to the UE, a second bit sequence identified based on the LBRM.
Using multiple ethernet virtual private network (EVPN) routes for corresponding service interfaces of a subscriber interface
Techniques are disclosed for an Ethernet Virtual Private Network (EVPN) Virtual Private Wire Service (VPWS) network with service interface-aware forwarding. In one example, a first network device signals to a second network device, using EVPN route advertisements, a multi-service service tunnel to transport network packets for a plurality of services. The services are identifiable by virtual local area network (VLAN) identifiers in the packets. The first network device is configured with a single transport interface for the service tunnel and the single transport interface is configured with respective service interfaces for the services. The first network device detects failure of a failed service interface of the service interfaces and outputs, in response to the failure, an EVPN route withdrawal message for the service tunnel that identifies the service corresponding to the failed service interface.
Event subscription for serviceability via bidirectional proxy
Disclosed methods provision a host with a pair of proxy resources. A first proxy resource may be configured to forward traffic from an in-band management interface of the host to a link-local interface of a BMC or the like. The second proxy resource is configured to forward traffic received via a link-local interface of the host to a management network interface of a cluster manager. Upon receiving an event subscription message from the cluster manager via the in-band management interface of the host, the event subscription message is forwarded by the first proxy to the link-local interface of the BMC to register a link-local interface of the host as a subscriber for one or more events. Responsive to receiving an event notification from the BMC via the link-local interface of the host, the event notification is automatically forwarded to the management network interface of the cluster manager.
Systems and methods for multi-cloud virtualized instance deployment and execution
A system may receive a first definition for a virtualized instance of a network function. The first definition may include a first set of declarations in a first format that is different than respective formats supported by different virtualized environments. The system may select a first virtualized environment to run the virtualized instance based on requirements specified within the first definition, and may generate a second definition with a second set of declarations that map the first set of declarations from the first format to a second format supported by the first virtualized environment. The system may deploy the virtualized instance to the first virtualized environment using the second set of declarations from the second definition. Deploying the virtualized instance may include configuring its operation based on some of the second set of declarations matching a configuration format supported by the first virtualized environment.
Systems and methods for managing multi-channel network traffic
The present disclosure generally relates to apparatus, software and methods for managing multi-channel network traffic to alleviate congestion, improve service quality and make efficient use of channel capacity. The disclosed apparatus, software and methods alleviate congestion and improve service quality by minimizing variance within a channel and/or increase overall traffic flow by minimizing the variance between channels. One or both of these objectives can be accomplished using modern portfolio theory to optimize at least one network usage parameter based on the mean and variance of the parameter(s).
