An immutable journal distributed is between the plurality of nodes. Access to the data stores is based upon a consensus of trust determined by the plurality of nodes. The data is cyphered as it is received to form ciphered data that is sharded into equally sized shards that are distributed across the nodes for storing on a corresponding ones of the data stores and tracked using the immutable journal. The shard may be periodically sent to a different one of the nodes for storing on the corresponding data store. The data is thereby ciphered and distributed across the plurality of data stores and is not stationary.

The one or more feedback shift register(s) is/are re-initialized in order to encrypt each data packet, wherein at least a first bit sequence and a second bit sequence are used in each case to initialize the one or more feedback shift registers, wherein the first bit sequence is added to each encrypted data packet in clear text or in coded form and the second bit sequence represents a secret key that is not added to the encrypted data packets. The encrypted data packets are transmitted in packet switching mode together with the respectively added bit sequence and optionally header data.

A system and method for providing load balanced secure media content and data delivery (10) in a distributed computing environment is disclosed. Media content is segmented and encrypted into a set of individual encrypted segments on a centralized control center (15). Each individual encrypted segment has the same fixed size. The complete set of individual encrypted segments is staged to a plurality of intermediate control nodes (17, 19). Individual encrypted segments are mirrored from the staged complete set to a plurality of intermediate servers (21a-b, 23a-b). Requests are received from clients (11) for the media content at the centralized control center. Each individual encrypted segment in the set is received from one of an intermediate control node and an intermediate server optimally sited from the requesting client. The individual encrypted segments are reassembled into the media content for media playback.

One of the keys is used to create a scannable image which is then incorporated into a label that is displayed in the vehicle, either as a physical label mounted in the vehicle or via a display screen within the vehicle. The label containing the scannable image can then be read by a mobile device at the vehicle, thereby providing the one key to the mobile device for use in sending communications to the vehicle.
