Emergency data gateway device
11539839 · 2022-12-27 · ·

A gateway device includes a call handling equipment (CHE) listener interface, an Internet Protocol (IP) interface, a provisioning engine, and a message parsing engine. The CPE listener interface forms a communication channel with a CHE and receives call event data from the CHE. The IP interface communicates with a cloud-based processing system. The provisioning engine receives, from the cloud-based processing system via the IP interface, instructions for parsing data from a data output format of the CHE into a consistent data format of the cloud-based processing system. The message parsing engine parses the call event data received from the CHE via the CHE listener interface, and formats the call event data according to the consistent data format. The gateway device transmits the formatted call event data to the cloud-based processing system via the IP interface.

FANOUT PROCESSOR
20220400144 · 2022-12-15 ·

Disclosed herein is a processor to process streaming data. The processor includes a TCP client circuit and a TCP server circuit. A fanout circuit is communicatively coupled to the TCP client circuit and the TCP server circuit. The fanout circuit receives data from the TCP client circuit, determines a rate at which to transmit the received market data, and instructs the TCP server circuit to send the received data at the determined rate.

Method and apparatus for short code dialing for restricted services for unauthenticated user equipment

A method and apparatus provide for attachment for restricted local operator services for an apparatus, such as a user equipment. An attach procedure for the restricted local operator services for the apparatus can be performed. A proxy call session control function address for the restricted local operator services can be received during the attach procedure. A session initiation protocol register request message can be generated. The session initiation protocol register request message can include an indication for the restricted local operator services and can include an internet protocol multimedia public user identification based on an identification of the apparatus. The session initiation protocol register request message to the proxy call session control function address can be sent, the session initiation protocol register request message can include the indication for the restricted local operator services.

Context based firewall service for agentless machines

A system and method for performing firewall operations on an edge service gateway virtual machine that monitors traffic for a network. The method includes detecting, from a directory service executing on a computing device, a login event on the computing device, obtaining, from the detected login event, login event information comprising an identifier that identifies a user associated with the login event, storing the login event information as one or more context attributes in an attribute table, and applying a firewall rule to a data message that corresponds to the one or more context attributes.

PROXY-CALL SESSION CONTROL FUNCTION (P-CSCF) TO P-CSCF COMMUNICATION
20220377152 · 2022-11-24 ·

Apparatuses and methods for P-CSCF to P-CSCF communication are disclosed. In one embodiment, a method implemented in a first proxy-call session control function (P-CSCF) node includes receiving, via a first user plane associated to an Internet Protocol (IP) Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) Protocol Data Unit (PDU) session for a user equipment (UE), a session initiation protocol (SIP) INVITE message; and as a result of the SIP INVITE message and based on a location of the UE relative to a first access gateway (AGW) associated to the first P-CSCF node, determining whether or not to initiate use of at least one of an additional second user plane and an additional second AGW for the IMS PDU session for the UE, the at least one of the second user plane and the second AGW being closer to the UE than the first user plane.

SECURE COMMUNICATION BETWEEN DEVICES
20220377058 · 2022-11-24 · ·

A method of providing secure communication between first and second devices comprises the first device and the second device connecting to a server via a secure communication channel. Encryption keys for the devices are generated and data relating to the encryption keys are exchanged via the server in the secure communication channel. A peer-to-peer connection for exchanging data is generated using encrypted connection information for the devices.

Trust management mechanisms

Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are provided for managing mutual and transitive trust relationships between resources, such as Fog/Edge nodes, autonomous devices (e.g., IoT devices), and/or analog/biological resources to provide collaborative, trusted communication over a network for service delivery. Disclosed embodiments include a subject resource configured to assign an observed resource to a trust zone based on situational and contextual information. The situational information may indicate a vector of the observed resource with respect to the subject resource. The contextual information may be based in part on whether a relationship exists between the subject resource and the observed resource. The subject resource is configured to determine a trust level of the observed resource based on the determined trust zone. Other embodiments are disclosed and/or claimed.

Methods and apparatus for efficient load balancing among microservices and/or processing entities

The present invention is directed to communications methods and apparatus for efficiently distributing traffic to processing entities. An exemplary method includes the steps of: receiving, at a first Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) load balancer (SLB), a first SIP INVITE message; selecting, at the first SLB, which Session Border Controller (SBC) in a first cluster of SBCs to send the first SIP invite message based on a message allocation weight determined based on message loss information corresponding to different SBCs in the first cluster of SBCs, the selecting including allocating a portion of incoming received SIP INVITE messages to an individual SBC based on a message loss rate corresponding to the individual SBC and the message allocation rate, said selecting including selecting a first SBC from the first cluster of SBCs to send said first SIP INVITE message, and sending the first SIP INVITE message to the first SBC.
