EMERGENCY DATA GATEWAY DEVICE
20230093284 · 2023-03-23 ·

A gateway device includes a call handling equipment (CHE) listener interface, an Internet Protocol (IP) interface, a provisioning engine, and a message parsing engine. The CPE listener interface forms a communication channel with a CHE and receives call event data from the CHE. The IP interface communicates with a cloud-based processing system. The provisioning engine receives, from the cloud-based processing system via the IP interface, instructions for parsing data from a data output format of the CHE into a consistent data format of the cloud-based processing system. The message parsing engine parses the call event data received from the CHE via the CHE listener interface, and formats the call event data according to the consistent data format. The gateway device transmits the formatted call event data to the cloud-based processing system via the IP interface.

Telecommunication network edge cloud interworking via edge exchange point

A processing system of an edge exchange point including at least one processor may receive, from a cloud service provider a request to allocate a first tag to communications between the cloud service provider and a first telecommunication network, transmit an acceptance of the request to allocate the first tag to the communications between the cloud service provider and the first telecommunication network, obtaining a first packet containing the first tag from the cloud service provider, and transmit the first packet to the first telecommunication network in accordance with the first tag.

COMMUNICATION DEVICE, COMMUNICATION METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE RECORDING MEDIUM

A communication device is installed on a moving body and capable of communicating with an external device via a plurality of communication lines. The communication device includes a controller. The controller acquires a plurality of video streaming data acquired by a plurality of cameras installed on the moving body. The controller dynamically sets priority of the plurality of video streaming data. The controller acquires priority of the plurality of communication lines. The controller sets an allocation relationship between the plurality of video streaming data and the plurality of communication lines such that a video streaming data with higher priority is allocated to a communication line with higher priority. The controller transmits the plurality of video streaming data to the external device via the respectively allocated communication lines.

SYSTEM FOR CREATION AND DISTRIBUTION OF TARGETED ADS FROM SYNCHRONOUSLY RATED USER GENERATED CONTENT

Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a device that includes a processing system including a processor; and a memory that stores executable instructions that, when executed by the processing system, facilitate performance of operations of generating a solicitation for an advertisement; determining whether the solicitation meets a brand policy; responsive to the solicitation meeting the brand policy, publishing the solicitation; receiving user generated content (UGC) responsive to the solicitation; receiving feedback concerning the UGC; determining whether the UGC would be suitable as an advertisement based on the feedback; and responsive to the UGC being suitable as the advertisement, publishing the UGC as the advertisement. Other embodiments are disclosed.

EXPERIENCE AND TRANSITIONING BETWEEN VIRTUAL REALITY AND AUGMENTED REALITY ENVIRONMENTS USING A VIRTUAL ASSISTANT

Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a method in which a processing system facilitates a user session that includes a plurality of alternate reality environments; selects for each environment a format for presentation of the content in accordance with characteristics of that environment; and presents, in each of the environments, the content according to the selected format, so that a presentation of the content according to a first format in a first environment is substantially simultaneous with a second presentation of the content according to a second format in a second environment. The method also includes facilitating sharing the content by user equipment in different environments, and facilitating a transition of a user between environments, including capturing user content consumed or generated by the user during the user session and formatting the user content for access in the user's new environment. Other embodiments are disclosed.

METHOD, ELECTRONIC DEVICE, SYSTEM, AND COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM FOR TRANSMITTING CROSS-RESOURCE EVENT NOTIFICATIONS

Disclosed are methods, electronic devices and systems for transmitting cross-resource event notifications. A method for transmitting cross-resource event notifications includes: receiving a cross-resource subscription request from a resource subscription entity, wherein the cross-resource subscription request is used to subscribe to a plurality of resources, and the cross-resource subscription request includes a plurality of single-resource event notification criteria and a cross-resource event notification criterion; determining that n resources of m resources satisfy the single-resource event notification criteria and satisfy the cross-resource event notification criterion, and transmitting a cross-resource event notification to the resource subscription entity, wherein m and n are positive integers greater than or equal to 2.

Staggered IMS bearer activation and radio bearer activation in 5G non-standalone networks
11483886 · 2022-10-25 · ·

Devices, systems, and methods relate to performing Internet Protocol (IP) Media Subsystem (IMS) bearer activation and radio bearer activation at different times. In some embodiments, a radio bearer is activated after the IMS bearer is activated. The radio bearer that is activated after the IMS bearer is activated may utilize a different Radio Access Technology (RAT) than an initial radio bearer. In certain instances, a device initiates activation of the radio bearer upon receiving confirmation that the IMS bearer is activated, or initiates activation of the radio bearer a predetermined period of time after initiating activation of the IMS bearer. In various embodiments, staggered IMS bearer activation and radio bearer activation can prevent collisions at components of an Evolved Packet Core (EPC).

Systems and methods for next generation mobile network optimized media path selection

A network device receives a first message that includes an identifier (ID) of a first User Plane Function (UPF), serving a first device, in a wireless network, where the first message invites a second device to engage in a session with the first device and where the first UPF supports packet routing and forwarding within the wireless network. The network device extracts the ID of the first UPF from the first message and determines a closest media resource function (MRF) to the first UPF, where the MRF processes and routes media streams between devices. The network device assigns the determined MRF as an anchor, in a network path between the first device and the second device, for processing and routing of media streamed between the first device and the second device.

Peripheral bus video communication using internet protocol

Described are techniques for video bridging for conversion of IP network video streams to the USB Video Class (UVC). The conversion of IP video to UVC video can include the use of software-only conversions and hardware assisted conversions, and can be done within purpose-built “conversion” devices or as software only solutions operating within applications or drivers within the operating systems of the “end nodes”. The end-nodes simultaneously see and use multiple USB UVC video sources. The conversion process can also convert the USB UVC video control protocol to IP Video Stream control protocols.
