APPARATUSES AND METHODS FOR VOICE CALL SERVICE PROVISION
A mobile communication device including a wireless transceiver and a controller is provided. The wireless transceiver performs wireless transmission and reception to and from a 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) network using a first Radio Access Technology (RAT). The controller establishes one or more radio bearers with the first 3GPP network via the wireless transceivers, and establishes a secure tunnel with a non-3GPP interworking gateway of a second 3GPP network via the radio bearers. The second 3GPP network utilizes a second RAT. Also, the controller registers, via the secure tunnel, an IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) service with an IMS server communicatively connected to the second 3GPP network, so as to make a voice call over the first 3GPP network.
SPECIAL LOCAL AREA NETWORK WITH SECURE DATA TRANSFER
A secure local area network and method for using the same are disclosed. In one embodiment, the network arrangement comprises a plurality of access points that are part of one or more existing networks and operable to individually address and communicate with each other to form a local area network (LAN) to transfer data between two or more of the plurality of access points using point-to-point links independent of their function in the one or more first existing networks, where each access point of the plurality of access points is associated with a cache to store content that may be forwarded to other access points access points in the plurality of access points, and wherein one access point is operable to identify one or more of the plurality of access points from which desired content is cached and to request at least one of the one or more of the plurality of access points to transfer desired content to the one access point via one or more direct point-to-point transfers between access pairs of the plurality of access points.
OPERATING METHOD BETWEEN NETWORKS, FIRST NETWORK, THIRD NETWORK AND TERMINAL
An operating method between networks, a first network, a third network and a terminal are provided. The operating method between networks applied to the first network includes: determining whether a precondition is met; and performing, through a third network or an interworking network element, a related operation from a first network to a second network, in a case that the precondition is met.
Method for digital video transmission adopting packaging forwarding strategies with path and content monitoring in heterogeneous networks using MMT protocol, method for reception and communication system
Method for digital video transmission in real time to multi-homed devices over heterogeneous networks by adopting a packaging forwarding strategy with path and content monitoring to the MPEG media transport protocol (MMT), method for reception and communication system, wherein a sender side has four modules: video parser, feedback packet receiving module, scheduler module and packet transmitter, and a receiver side has six modules: packet receiver, statistics calculator, feedback packet sender, reassembler, video decoder and video renderer.
SERVICE PROCESSING METHOD, INFORMATION TRANSMISSION METHOD, AND RELEVANT DEVICES
The present disclosure provides a service processing method, an information transmission method and relevant devices. The service processing method includes: acquiring related information about service processing; and performing relevant processing on a target service at least in accordance with the acquired related information about the service processing.
Non-associative telephony and SMS messaging
Systems and methods for managing non-associative communications between devices is provided. A first call chain that indicates a routing between phone numbers is stored. A first phone call or a first SMS text is received from a first session initiation protocol (SIP) provider. Based on information provided by the first SIP provider, (i) a sender identity of the first phone call or the first SMS text; (ii) a receiver identity of the first phone call or the first SMS text; and (iii) an access mode of the call chain are determined. If the receiver identity corresponds to a first phone number in the first call chain, a second phone call or a second SMS text is initiated via a second SIP provider, from a second phone number in the first call chain, based on the sender identity and the access mode.
Multiple-master DNS system
In some particular embodiments, DNS servers are operated to maintain consistency of DNS records between the multiple master servers in response to certain types of communication situations. Each master DNS server monitors network connectivity by periodically testing or checking network connections of the master server (e.g., to another server). In one such exemplary context and particular embodiment, a first DNS master server operates by maintaining consistency of DNS records with at least one other DNS server. In this manner DNS records are updated using communications over a network and between the servers. Network isolation is detected and, after other related steps, restoration of connections to the at least one second DNS server is detected, and then queued DNS update requests are sent to the second DNS server. This approach is used to establish consistency of the DNS records between the DNS servers.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR HPLMN-BASED TRAFFIC CONTROL WHEN UE IS REGISTERED ON DIFFERENT PLMNS
The present disclosure relates to a communication method and system for converging a 5th-Generation (5G) communication system for supporting higher data rates beyond a 4th-Generation (4G) system with a technology for Internet of Things (IoT). The present disclosure may be applied to intelligent services based on the 5G communication technology and the IoT-related technology, such as smart home, smart building, smart city, smart car, connected car, health care, digital education, smart retail, security and safety services. Embodiments herein provide a method for HPLMN-based traffic control in a wireless communication network when a UE 300 is registered on different PLMNs.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND METHOD FOR SWITCHING NETWORK CONNECTION BETWEEN PLURALITY OF ELECTRONIC DEVICES
An electronic device according to various embodiments may include: a communication circuit; a display; a memory; and at least one processor operably connected to the communication circuit, the display, and the memory. The at least one processor may be configured to control the electronic device to: identify a first network connection between the electronic device and a first external electronic device using the communication circuit. In response to the identification of the first network connection, the electronic device may identify a second external electronic device. In response to the identification of the second external electronic device, the at least one processor may display a UI for connecting the first external electronic device and the second external electronic device on the display. In response to an identification of an input on the UI, the at least electronic device may transmit, to the second external electronic device, information at least partially based on the first network connection and usable for establishing a second network connection between the first external electronic device and the second external electronic device.
VIDEO STREAMING ORCHESTRATOR
A streaming orchestrator may monitor the quality of video being delivered to a home or other building. If the streaming orchestrator determines that additional performance is needed, it may create an additional User Plane Gateway in the virtual white box environment residing in the customer premises. The streaming orchestrator may instruct gNodeBs to continue to route traffic back to the central core functions or to route traffic to local user plane gateways which transmit video streams to the Internet via localized high-speed connections.
