A system and method is described that allows a communication session to be transferred between endpoints. A user may provide an indication using a first endpoint of the communication session that they desire to transfer the communication session to a second endpoint. Communication session endpoints associated with the user that are available to transfer the communication session can be determined and the user may select one of the available endpoints and then the communication session can be transferred from the first endpoint to the selected endpoint.
Method and apparatus of improving quality of calls in mobile communication system
A method and apparatus is provided that improves the quality of voice calls in a mobile communication network. The method of performing transmission/reception of signals in an evolved Node B (eNB) of a mobile communication system includes: receiving a first message including service request information from user equipment (UE); transmitting a second message including the service request information to an Mobility Management Entity (MME); receiving a third message including context information for the UE from the MME; and determining an inactivity timer value for the UE based on the context information. The method and apparatus can maintain, when a voice call is created, connection with calling UE from when the called UE answers the call until the call is set up, thereby preventing part of a caller's voice data from being lost.

A method for switching an IMS voice call network includes: identifying a call network which is currently used by a mobile terminal when an IMS voice call is executed by the mobile terminal; switching a VoLTE network which is currently used by the mobile terminal to a VoWiFi network when the call network is the VoLTE network, a use time of the VoLTE network is greater than a timeout time, and a signal intensity of the VoWiFi network reaches a preset first signal threshold value; and switching the VoWiFi network which is currently used by the mobile terminal to the VoLTE network when the call network is the VoWiFi network and a signal intensity of the VoLTE network reaches a preset second signal threshold value. A storage device and a mobile terminal are also provided.

The present invention provides a wireless communication method of a wireless device, wherein the wireless communication method includes the steps of: generating a first link-layer packet in a data link layer of the wireless device; using a first channel to transmit the first link-layer packet to an electronic device external to the wireless device; determining if a transmission of the first link-layer packet satisfies a condition; when the transmission of the first link-layer packet satisfies the condition, generating a second link-layer packet in the data link layer by duplicating data within the first link-layer packet; and using a second channel to transmit the second link-layer packet to the electronic device, and using the first channel to transmit the first link-layer packet again to the electronic device concurrently.

The method includes: when network mode switch is performed, switching a data transmission channel in a current network mode which performs multi-card service into a data transmission channel in a target network mode; updating a mapping relation between service identification of a corresponding subscriber identity card and the data transmission channel in the current network mode into a mapping relation between the service identification of the corresponding subscriber identity card and the data transmission channel in the target network mode; and performing multi-card service based on the mapping relation between the service identification of the corresponding subscriber identity card and the data transmission channel in the target network mode. For a multi-card mobile terminal which uses a same data transmission channel to perform multi-card service, the multi-card service may be continued when a network mode changes.

A device system and method for providing audio summarization data from video is provided. A portable media streaming device: transmits, to one or more receiving terminals, first frames of video captured by a video camera; determines, after transmission of the first frames of the video, that a signal strength associated with the first network falls below a predetermined threshold; generates audio summarization data corresponding to one or more objects of interest identified in second frames of the video, the second frames captured by the video camera after the first frames; selects a portion of the audio summarization data based on a context associated with a receiving terminal of the one or more receiving terminals; and transmits, using the communication unit, via one or more of the first network and a second network, the portion of the audio summarization data to the receiving terminal.
