TECHNIQUES FOR EFFICIENT COMMUNICATION DURING A VIDEO COLLABORATION SESSION
20230007064 · 2023-01-05 ·

Techniques are disclosed for allowing remote participation in collaborative video review based on joint state data, for a video collaboration session, maintained by a video collaboration service. A user at a participant client device may provide one or more annotations, such as a drawing annotation, for the video data via a client application. The client application transmits computer-readable instructions for re-creating the drawing annotation to the service, which distributes the drawing instructions to the other participant client devices. Using the drawing instructions, the client applications at the client devices are configured to re-create the drawing annotation on the associated video frame displayed at the client devices. The joint state data communicated to client devices for a given session may include co-presence data that efficiently increases communication among the participants in a session. Co-presence data received by a participant client device may be depicted in a GUI of the client application.

Channel-specific engagement machine learning architecture

A computer-implemented method includes generating an intervention model for a population of users based on engagement data indicating successfulness of prior interventions for each of the population of users. Each prior intervention corresponds to one of multiple engagement channels, and the intervention model includes multiple channel-specific models. The method includes supplying data related to a first user as input to the intervention model to determine multiple channel-specific intervention expectations. Each channel-specific intervention expectation indicates a likelihood that the first user will take action in response to an intervention being executed using the corresponding engagement channel. The method includes determining a likelihood of a gap in care for the first user, and in response to the gap in care likelihood exceeding a minimum threshold, selecting a first intervention according to the channel-specific intervention expectation that has a highest determined value, and scheduling the selected first intervention for execution.

Podroom

The invention relates to a multimedia system and a multimedia operation method. The multimedia system includes a first portable electronic device, a collaboration device, a camera, and an audio-visual processing device. The first portable electronic device provides a first operation instruction. The collaboration device is coupled to the first portable electronic device and receives the first operation instruction. The collaboration device provides a multimedia picture, and the multimedia picture is changed with the first operation instruction. The camera provides a video image. The audio-visual processing device is coupled to the collaboration device and the camera, and the audio-visual processing device receives the multimedia picture and a video image, and outputs a synthesized image with an immersive audio-visual effect according to the multimedia picture and the video image.

VIRTUAL MEETING CONTROL
20220413794 · 2022-12-29 · ·

A method for controlling a virtual meeting includes receiving a meeting template including at least one rule. The rule or rules associated with the meeting template define a first time period relating a first virtual meeting session of a first endpoint computing device and a second time period relating to a second virtual meeting session of a second endpoint computing device. The method further includes causing, responsive to the rule(s), a first audio mute/unmute action to occur in the first virtual meeting session at or prior to an expiration of the first time period. The method further includes causing a second audio mute/unmute action to occur in the second virtual meeting session at or prior to a start of the second time period, where the second time period is different from with the first time period.

VIRTUAL MEETING CONTENT ENHANCEMENT TRIGGERED BY AUDIO TRACKING

A method, computer system, and a computer program product for digital remote presentation are provided. Presentation content is received that includes visual content, one or more speech triggers, and one or more presentation enhancements corresponding to the one or more speech triggers. A virtual meeting is presented by transmitting the presentation content to at least one receiver computer. A first audio file is received that includes recorded audio spoken by a presenter during the virtual meeting. From the first audio file the one or more speech triggers spoken by the presenter are identified. The respective presentation enhancement corresponding to the identified speech trigger is performed. The presentation enhancement is presented to the at least one receiver computer during the virtual meeting.

Media context switching between devices using wireless communications channels
11537357 · 2022-12-27 · ·

Methods, systems, and/or devices for media context switching among electronic devices are described herein. In one aspect, a method is performed at a first electronic device. A first media item is played. While playing the first media item, a near-field-communication (NFC) channel is established with a second electronic device while the second electronic device is playing a second media item. First contextual data of the first electronic device is transferred via the NFC channel to the second electronic device, wherein the first contextual data corresponds to the first media item. A playback command for the second media item is received. In response to receiving the playback command for the second media item, the first electronic device plays the second media item.

User interface for fraud alert management
11538128 · 2022-12-27 · ·

A user interface for a fraud detection application includes a visual display; a plurality of panes displayed on the visual display, each pane including an identifier corresponding to a communication received; a graphical representation of a threat risk associated with the identifier; a numeric score associated with the threat risk, wherein the numeric score is a weighted score based on a plurality of predetermined factors updated substantially continuously. The graphical representation may include a status bar indicative of a threat risk associated with the identifier, the threat risk provided by the fraud detection algorithm and based on a weighted score. Each pane may include additional information about the identifier, such as a number of accounts accessed or attempted to be accessed associated with the identifier; a number of days the identifier has been active; a type of channel associated with the identifier; and a number of communications initiated by the identifier over a predetermined period of time. A user may access further information by activating a portion of the visual display to access additional information related to the threat risk. The communication may be a phone call, a chat, a web interaction or the like.

Communication management system, communication system, communication management device, image processing method, and non-transitory computer-readable medium

A communication management system manages a session in which a plurality of terminal apparatuses shares a stroke image. The communication management system includes circuitry configured to: manage stroke information including a plurality of pieces of stroke data representing the stroke image; receive, from a first terminal apparatus, group operation information for designating one or more pieces of stroke data, which are operation targets, from among the plurality of pieces of stroke data; and restrict, based on the group operation information, an operation regarding the one or more pieces of stroke data by a second terminal apparatus, which is different from the first terminal apparatus.
