SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROVIDING REAL-TIME AUDIO AND DATA
A method of delivering audio to one or more client computing devices includes receiving, by an audio server computing device, a live audio signal starting at a first time; processing, by the audio server computing device, the live audio signal, thereby creating a data representation of the live audio signal; transmitting, by the audio server computing device, via a wireless network in electronic communication with the audio server computing device, the data representation of the live audio signal to the one or more client computing devices; interpreting, by the one or more client computing devices, the data representation of the live audio signal, thereby producing an interpreted audio signal; and providing, by the one or more client computing devices, the interpreted audio signal to a user listening device starting at a second time. A latency between the first time and the second time is less than 100 milliseconds.
System for interactive matrix manipulation control of streamed data
An interactive streaming media and application service provider system can securely stream high resolution, multiple formats of video and data. Different data sets can be included in a single stream. A rights management system controls matrix manipulation and other aspects of user control of the data, including one or more of rendering in various different 2D, 3D, or other media formats, reconstruction and modeling, zooming, frame grab, print frame, parental controls, picture in picture, preventing unauthorized copying, adapting to different data transmission formats, adapting to different resolutions and screen sizes, and actively control functionality contained in embedded data, encryption/decryption. Control can be exerted by an external entity through a user-side virtual machine. Control codes can optionally be embedded in the media, embedded in the user's device, and/or sent separately to the device.
METHOD FOR MANAGING ADAPTIVE PROGRESSIVE DOWNLOADING (HAS) OF DIGITAL CONTENT WHICH IS BROADCAST IN REAL TIME, CORRESPONDING ADMINISTRATOR, MULTIMEDIA STREAM PLAYER TERMINAL AND COMPUTER PROGRAM
A method for managing adaptive progressive downloading of digital content broadcast in real time within a multimedia stream player terminal is disclosed. The method includes obtaining a description file of the digital content, including a list of time segments of the content to be downloaded each associated with several encoding rates of the content, and determining an encoding rate of the time segments to be downloaded for real-time rendering of the content, according to a resource constraint of the terminal. If the determined encoding rate is less than a maximum encoding rate proposed in the description file, the method implements a selection of an option: of downloading the time segments at the determined encoding rate and rendering the content in real time; or of downloading the time segments at an encoding rate higher than the determined encoding rate and rendering the content offline.
SYSTEM, METHOD AND COMPUTER-READABLE MEDIUM FOR RENDERING A STREAMING
The present disclosure relates to a system, a method and a computer-readable medium for rendering a streaming on a user terminal. The method includes rendering the streaming in a first mode, receiving an environment parameter of the user terminal, receiving a timing when the user terminal closes the streaming, determining a threshold value of the environment parameter based on the timing the user terminal closes the streaming, receiving an updated environment parameter of the user terminal, and rendering the streaming in a second mode if the updated environment parameter meets the threshold value. The second mode includes fewer data objects than the first mode or includes a downgraded version of a data object in the first mode for the rendering. The present disclosure can customize the rendering mode for each user and maximize the satisfaction of viewing streaming for each user.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MOBILE DEVICE AS TEMPORARY CONTENT ORIGIN
Methods and systems are described for content delivery. A user of a first computing device that is playing back content may want to transfer or cast the content to a second computing device. When the first computing device receives the request to cast the content to the second computing device, the content may continue to be received and played back by the first computing device while it establishes a seamless transition to the second computing device. The first computing device may contact the content origin and send to the second computing device a manifest file that instructs the second computing device to request an initial portion of the segments of the content from the first computing device. The content origin may then process the cast request from the first computing device and begin providing subsequent segments of content to the second computing device.
Selective streaming of video segments based on buffer data and download rate range
Technologies for selectively streaming video based on mapping buffer data to download rates. The technologies can include sampling download rates of a video player prior to or during downloading of a first video segment to the video player. The technologies can include determining a range of download rates of the video player based at least on the sampled download rates. The technologies can include determining an amount of accumulated video data in a buffer of the video player immediately prior to or during the downloading of the first video segment. Also, the technologies can include mapping the determined amount of accumulated video data to a download rate within the determined range of download rates using a mapping function, and determining a second video segment quality for a second video segment based at least on the mapped download rate.
REDUNDANT CACHE FOR REUSABLE IMMERSIVE MEDIA ASSETS
A method for streaming media assets using a redundant cache managed by a media streaming server in a media streaming network may be provided. The method may include receiving, by a media streaming server, immersive media stream comprising one or more immersive media assets associated with one or more scenes, determining that a subset of the one or more immersive media assets are included for a plurality of times in the one or more scenes, storing a redundant copy of each of the subset of the one or more immersive media assets in a cache maintained by the media streaming network to ensure that the each of the subset is accessible to both the media streaming server and a client, and streaming at least one media asset of the subset of the one or more immersive media assets in response to a local cache of the client not storing the at least one media asset.
Unique watermark generation and detection during a conference
The unique watermark system comprising: identifying a presenter attendee, a first recipient attendee, and a second recipient attendee through a video conferencing session; detecting the presenter attendee sharing the visual content with the first recipient attendee and the second recipient attendee; selecting a first unique watermark and a second unique watermark from the plurality of unique watermarks and assigning them to a first recipient attendee and a second recipient attendee, respectively; inserting the first unique watermark into the visual content for the first recipient attendee and the second unique watermark into the visual content for the second recipient attendee; and transmitting the visual content with the first unique watermark to the first recipient attendee and the visual content with the second unique watermark to the second recipient attendee, wherein the method is performed by one or more special-purpose computing devices for hosting the video conferencing session.
Method and Apparatus for Controlling Time-Scale Modification During Multi-Media Broadcasts
One embodiment of the present invention is a method for broadcasting information to one or more client devices from a broadcaster that is not a client device, which one or more client devices utilize presentation rates to present audio in broadcast information at various presentation rates using time-scale modification, and which method includes: (a) the broadcaster broadcasting non-time-scale modified information; and (b) the broadcaster broadcasting guidance information used to determine presentation rates for use by the one or more client devices in presentation of audio in the broadcast information using time-scale modification; wherein the guidance information is broadcast prior to or after a time of broadcast of the broadcast information.
Method and Related Apparatus for Providing Media Presentation Guide in Media Streaming Over Hypertext Transfer Protocol
A method and a related apparatus for providing a guide media presentation in media streaming are disclosed. The method include obtaining, by a client, a media presentation description (MPD) of a guide media presentation, where the MPD of the guide media presentation describes N guide units included in the guide media presentation, obtaining K guide units in the N guide units according to the MPD of the guide media presentation, and presenting the K guide units, where each guide unit in the K guide units points to one main media presentation, and presentation quality of a main media presentation to which a guide unit i in the K guide units points is higher than presentation quality of the guide unit i. Solutions support a video guide in an Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP)-based media streaming service scenario and improve user experience.
