SYSTEM FOR IMPLEMENTING CONTINUOUS AUTHENTICATION BASED ON OBJECT LOCATION RECOGNITION
Systems, computer program products, and methods are described herein for implementing continuous authentication based on object location recognition. The present invention is configured to receive, from the computing device of a user, a request for primary authorized access; receive, via the augmented reality application, a real-time visual feed, wherein the real-time visual feed comprises one or more objects; determine one or more positional parameters associated with the one or more objects; determine that the one or more objects and the one or more positional parameters associated with the one or more objects meets one or more requirements for the primary authorized access; and transmit control signals configured to cause the computing device of the user to display a notification indicating that the user has been granted the primary authorized access.
Methods and apparatuses for dynamic adaptive streaming over HTTP
Aspects of the disclosure provide methods, apparatuses, and a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium for receiving media data. One apparatus includes processing circuitry that receives a media presentation description (MPD) file including an essential property descriptor that is associated with a session-based description (SBD) file and includes a key-value element. The processing circuitry determines a value in the SBD file corresponding to a key in the key-value element. The processing circuitry sends a request to a server based on the corresponding value.
TELECOMMUNICATION AND MULTIMEDIA MANAGEMENT METHOD AND APPARATUS
A telecommunication and multimedia management apparatus and method that supports voice and other media communications and that enables users to: (i) participate in multiple conversation modes, including live phone calls, conference calls, instant voice messaging or tactical communications; (ii) review the messages of conversations in either a live mode or a time-shifted mode and to seamlessly transition back and forth between the two modes; (iii) participate in multiple conversations either concurrently or simultaneously; (iv) archive the messages of conversations for later review or processing; and (v) persistently store media either created or received on the communication devices of users. The latter feature enables users to generate or review media when either disconnected from the network or network conditions are poor and to optimize the delivery of media over the network based on network conditions and the intention of the users participating in conversations.
Multimedia data processing method and apparatus, storage medium, and electronic device
A multimedia data processing method is provided. The multimedia data processing method includes: establishing, by a signaling processing module deployed on a remote node, a session between a terminal device and a media processing module, and controlling the session; and receiving, by the media processing module deployed on an edge computing node after the session is established with the terminal device, multimedia data transmitted by the terminal device, and processing the multimedia data.
Over-the-top media service testing and QoE issues isolation
A method for Over-The-Top (OTT) media service monitoring and testing including deploying multiple test agents throughout the network and orchestrating them together to create a single OTT media service delivery path with coherent measurement points. The method includes selecting and configuring all test agents forming an OTT media service delivery path in a network, wherein the test agents are deployed on devices in the network with pairs of agents in a client-server relationship; for each selected test agent, simulating a Hyper Text Transport Protocol (HTTP) Adaptive Streaming (HAS) media playback using a pair test agent as a HAS server; for each selected test agent, monitoring the HAS media playback via a Quality of Experience (QoE) model to collect metrics, influence factors, and QoE scores; and reporting collected metrics, influence factors and QoE scores, wherein the QoE scores are compared to isolate any performance degradation.
Representation and compression of gallery view for video conferencing
The development of a region of interest (ROI) video frame that includes only ROIs of interest and not other elements and providing the ROI video frames in a single video stream simplifies the development of gallery view continuous presence displays. ROI position and size information metadata can be provided or subpicture concepts of the particular codec can be used to separate the ROIs in the ROI video frame. Metadata can provide perspective/distortion correction values, speaker status and any other information desired about the participant or other ROI, such as name. Only a single encoder and a single decoder is needed, simplifying both transmitting and receiving endpoints. Only a single video stream is needed, reducing bandwidth requirements. As each participant can be individually isolated, the participants can be provided in similar sizes and laid out as desired in a continuous presence display that is pleasing to view.
ELECTRONIC BILLBOARD AND CONTROLLING METHOD THEREOF
An electronic billboard and a controlling method thereof are disclosed, wherein the electronic billboard includes plural displaying areas, a user interaction tracker and a data flow manager. Each one of the display areas correspondingly form a telecommunication connection with one of plural video delivery devices, and respectively displays the image data provided by the video delivery devices. The user interaction tracker is used to calculate the interaction indexes between at least one user and each one of the display area. The data flow manager regulates the flows of the image data respectively delivered to the display areas according to the interactive indexes.
SELECTIVE CONTENT SHARING IN A VIDEO CONFERENCE
Techniques are described to enable selective content sharing in a video conference. In one example, a conferencing system obtains first display content from a first endpoint device in a video conference session. The conferencing system streams the first display content to a second endpoint device in the video conference session and obtains second display content from the second endpoint device. While streaming the first display content to the second endpoint device, the conferencing system streams the second display content to a third endpoint device in the video conference session and prevents streaming of the second display content to the first endpoint device.
Adaptive bit rate media streaming based on network conditions received via a network monitor
A method includes receiving, at a device from a content source, a portion of a particular chunk of media content a particular quality level during adaptive bit rate media streaming of the media content. The method includes receiving, at the device, network data related to network conditions associated with the device in response to receipt of the portion. The method also includes, in response to a determination to download the particular chunk at a first quality level different than the particular quality level, the determination based on the particular quality level and the network data: sending a request from the device for the particular chunk at the first quality level to the content source, and replacing the portion with the particular chunk at the first quality level.
DELIVERING CONTENT IN MULTIPLE FORMATS
Content may be received at an edge location in one format, but delivered to a terminal on an access network in another format. The received content may be transcoded at the edge location. The transcoded content may be stored, or immediately delivered. The transcoded content may be fragmented prior to storage. Multiple copies of the transcoded content may be maintained in multiple formats. These formats may be aligned with one another such that delivery of the content can include delivering portions of the content in one format and other portions of the content in another format.
