Systems and methods for digital mirror
A network of interconnected digital mirrors within a mall. A plurality of digital mirrors are installed in a participating stores, each comprising a digital screen, a video camera positioned to generate video stream of a user in front of the digital mirror, and a microprocessor. A centralized database stores merchandize data of participating stores. A controller is coupled to the mirrors and the centralized database and preprogrammed to perform the operations comprising: receiving the video stream from the video camera of one of the plurality of digital mirrors; identifying a merchandize item within the video stream; activating a recommendation engine to identify a complementary item from the centralized database that is complementary to the identified merchandize item; sending data regarding the complementary item and a store offering the complementary item to the digital mirror for display.
Person search system and person search method
When captured videos transmitted from n units of cameras are received, a server analyzes position information and characteristic information on a person appearing in each of captured videos as analysis results. A client terminal displays, on a screen, each of a k number of captured videos that are selected by a user operation. According to a selection of a search target person, the client terminal transmits, to the server, a search request for the search target person in a (k−1) number of captured videos other than the captured video in which the search target person appears. The server extracts the search target person and transmits the analysis result to the client terminal. The client terminal displays cut-out images of one or more persons identical with or similar to the search target person based on the analysis result.
Near real-time collaboration for media production
Near real-time collaborative media production by parties located remotely from each other is facilitated by the described methods. Automated dialog replacement with voice talent, editing system operator, and director located remotely from each other is supported by generating synchronized near real-time feeds for the operator and director. Pre-recorded media played back from the editing system is streamed without delay to the talent. A pre-recorded media feed is also delayed to synchronize it with the incoming talent stream, which was recorded in sync with the pre-recorded media stream when received by the talent. The synchronized feed is output to the operator and streamed to the director. Talkback channels and webcam video with appropriate synchronization delays support communication among the parties. Other methods support automatic punch-in and punch-out of remotely recorded dialog replacement, and automatic contextual switching and overlaying of inter-party communication video based on the state of the media editing application.
DISPLAY DEVICE AND METHOD OF DRIVING THE SAME
A display device includes: a display panel including a first display area having a first light transmittance and a second display area having a second light transmittance that is higher than the first light transmittance; a camera module under the second display area that is configured to output a raw image signal; a compensation module configured to: activate in response to a compensation control signal; receive the raw image signal; and compensate the raw image signal through a compensation program utilizing a learning data-based deep learning algorithm to generate a compensation image signal; and a control module configured to control operations of the display panel, the camera module, and the compensation module.
Method and system for processing multimedia content within a metropolitan area network
A method for processing a multimedia content previously digitally encoded into an audio-video stream and transmitted from a distribution platform for the purposes of on-demand transmission to a plurality of receiving terminals includes the following steps: applying a demultiplexing function to the audio-video stream, said function being arranged to generate at least one group of data streams; applying a transformation to each data stream; segmenting each data stream; storing the at least one group of segmented data streams in a memory; carrying out, only in response to a request issued by a receiving terminal among the plurality of receiving terminals, the following steps: selecting, on the basis of the request, at least one data stream of at least one group of stored data streams; and transmitting the at least one selected data stream to the receiving terminal that issued the request.
Systems and methods for adapting content items to endpoint media devices
Systems, methods, and machine-readable media for adapting content items to device operations of an endpoint media device are disclosed. A first content composite may be created by one or more processing devices for delivery in a packet stream from a content provider system via one or more networks, where the first content composite may include an adaptable content item corresponding to a set of one or more audio and/or video packets corresponding to audio and/or video content. The first content composite may be transmitted, where, consequent to delivery of the first content composite to a first endpoint media device or a second endpoint media device, the first endpoint media device or the second endpoint media device may perform one operation relating to a second content item of the first content composite, where the adaptable content item may be modified based on the second content item.
Media provider shim for virtual events
Media, methods, and systems are provided for a shim to enable dynamic selection of RTC during virtual events. A virtual event may be created, and an RTC provider may be selected for the virtual event. A connection request to connect to the RTC provider may be received from a client device. Thereafter, connection data may be signaled to the client device. A signaling message may be received from the client device. The signaling message may be intercepted and translated by the shim. The signaling message may then be transmitted to a signaling server for connecting to the RTC provider. Changes of state of the virtual event may be monitored to determine if a new RTC provider should be leveraged.
GATEWAYING OF CONFERENCE CALLS TO BROWSER-BASED CONFERENCES
Systems and methods for interconnecting point-to-point (P2P) (i.e. SIP/H323) and web browser compatible video conferencing services. The conference platform gatewaying service may use a virtual web browser participant to send and/or receive video and/or audio over VoIP/Video standards, such as SIP/H323 or other point-to-point protocols into a web browser compatible conference by means of a virtual web browser participant. The conference platform gateway service may create a binding between a SIP address and a web meeting URL. When communication is initiated from a compatible peer device to the gateway/server by means of a point-to-point protocol, the gateway/server establishes a connection to the web-based conference using the binding between URI and URL, and establishes a connection between the Point-to-point and Web browser compatible meeting service.
INDIVIDUAL USER CONTENT CONTROL IN MULTIUSER CONTENT DELIVERY SYSTEMS
A system and method for providing electronic content to a user in a multi user content delivery system. A set of preferences are received from a first user at a preference component. This set of preferences indicates a portion of electronic content the first user desires to receive. Electronic content is received from a plurality of users by a content aggregator. This content is then aggregated. The electronic content is then modified for the user based on the received set of preferences. The modified content is then distributed or sent to the user by the content distributor.
