Agent for online training in an offline environment
Provided is a system and method for providing online learning in an offline environment. In one example, the method may include receiving an authentication code of a user and a user identifier at a shared agent device that is shared by multiple users, signing, via the shared agent device, the received authentication code with a signing key that is unique to the shared agent device, authenticating, via the shared agent device, the user with a host platform based on the signed authentication code, and, in response to successful authentication of the user, outputting a learning session for the user based on content received from the host platform.
Method and apparatus for providing asynchronicity to microservice application programming interfaces
A method of handling an API call includes receiving a first API call from a job requestor, the first API call including a job to be executed by a microservice. The method also includes adding the job to a job queue, making a second, synchronous, API call including the job to the microservice, updating the job queue upon successful completion of the job by the microservice, and notifying the job requestor of the successful completion of the job.

Stream data record reads using push-mode persistent connections
From a stream management service, indications of transmissions of data records of a first data stream via a persistent network connection associated with a subscription are provided to a stream processing application. In response to detecting that a transfer throttling condition associated with the subscription has been met, a delay is introduced before additional data records are transmitted via the same persistent network connection. After a subscription expiration period has elapsed, an indication of the expiration is provided to the application via the persistent connection.

System and method using a fitness-gradient blockchain consensus and providing advanced distributed ledger capabilities via specialized data records
An improved system implements Fitness Gradient Consensus including hash distance and bucket consensus variations within a digital blockchain by calculating the highest fitness value among competing blocks to resolve conflicts and allocate the rewards associated with building new blocks. The consensus system applies conflict resolution formulas to incentivize block-building nodes to share blocks generated, as it completes construction, to improve chances of a reward, resulting in enhanced speed and security of blockchain. The hash distance consensus utilizes a hash distance scalar value as part of its fitness metric, and the bucket consensus assigns tokens to buckets and calculates an aggregate value of the assigned tokens. A trust-but-verify variant increases transactional throughput and reduces linearity and computational constraints. The system also utilizes novel record types, such as token genesis, transfer, transaction, trade order, settlement, proposition, determination, and pattern linkage records to facilitate the automation of financial, commercial and legal processes.
Efficient mechanism for data protection against cloud region failure or site disasters and recovery time objective (RTO) improvement for backup applications
A method, apparatus, and system for determining a consistency marker object representing the latest consistent recovery point for a disaster recovery (DR) process is disclosed. A request to move data from a local storage to a cloud storage for the DR process at a target point in time is received. Then, a replication completion status of a replication process indicating whether the replication is complete or not is determined. Next, the replication completion status indicating the replication process is complete is detected. Thereafter, in response to detecting the replication completion status, the consistency marker object having the latest consistent point is written in a preconfigured directory in a bucket to determine the consistent recovery point for a future DR process without having to perform lengthy validations for the data and meta.

System for migration of data from legacy computer system using wireless peer-to-peer connection
A method, system and computer-usable medium are disclosed for migrating data from a legacy computer system to a new computer system. Certain aspects include instantiating a wireless portal at a new computer system using a passcode and a randomly generated key, wherein the passcode is generated using the randomly generated key and a private key; displaying the randomly generated key at the new computer system; setting up a wireless peer-to-peer connection between a legacy computer system and the wireless portal by entering the randomly generated key in a second application executed at the legacy computer system; and migrating data from the legacy computer system to the new computer system using the peer-to-peer wireless connection.
Method for Configuring Service Node, Service Node Pool Registrars, and System
A method for configuring a service node, a service node pool registrar, and a system are provided. In certain embodiments, the method includes receiving a service node query request sent by a management configuration device. The service node query request includes a service requirement. The service requirement is from a user or caused by a network change. The method further includes searching a service node database, to obtain service node information that matches the service node query request. The method further includes sending the matching service node information to the management configuration device, causing the management configuration device to perform network and service configuration on the matching service node according to network topology information that has been obtained and the matching service node information.
