Data network notification bar user interface

A method and apparatus are disclosed of providing a user application with a notification message. One example method may include receiving a notification message and identifying a predetermined category of a notification bar portion of the user application to display the notification message. The method may also include associating the notification message with the identified predetermined category and determining a level of importance of the notification message. The method may also provide displaying a notification indicator on the notification bar according to the predetermined category and to the notification type that corresponds to the level of importance.

Hybrid network system, communication method and network node

A hybrid network system, a communication method and a network node are provided. The hybrid network system includes a combined network system architecture of a point-to-point network and a broadcast network, the point-to-point network is provided with a plurality of point-to-point channels, and each network node can send a message to a corresponding network node or receive the message from the corresponding network node through the point-to-point channel; the broadcast network is provided with a plurality of broadcast channels, and each broadcast channel can only have one sender at most at the same time, but can have a plurality of receivers; at least a part of network nodes have the capability of sending messages to be broadcast, at least a part of network nodes have the capability of receiving the broadcast messages, and at least some network nodes are configured to select the broadcast network or the point-to-point network at least according to communication tasks to be executed per se to complete the communication tasks to be executed. Preferably, each network node has the capability of sending and receiving the broadcast message. The hybrid network system of the embodiment of the present invention has high flexibility and high communication performance.

METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR DISTRIBUTED HIGH SPEED STATE SYNCHRONIZATION

Synchronizing the databases maintained by network appliances can support high availability or high throughput topologies, but also consumes the devices' processing resources. To address that resource consumption, the network appliance's packet processing pipeline circuits can process synchronization packets to thereby synchronize the databases. A local data structure can be in a first local state. Processing a network packet can result in changing the local data structure to a second local state. A state sync packet can include state transition data that indicates a state difference between the first local state and the second local state. The state sync packet can be sent to a peer device that is configured to process the state transition data using the peer device's packet processing pipeline circuit. The peer device's packet processing pipeline can use the state transition data to update a peer device data structure that is in the peer device.

Systems and methods for facilitation communications among customer relationship management users

A method for synchronizing Customer Relationship Management data between a Software as a Service (“SaaS”) CRM provider and a mobile device. This method enables both read and write access from the mobile device whether a network connection to the SaaS provider is available or not. The method involves creating a local mobile device database to track portions or all of the SaaS provider database. In the case where a network separation occurs and the device and SaaS databases diverge, the synchronization method may be used to make the mobile device database and the SaaS database consistent and coherent again. In one embodiment, multiple local database tables are used to represent a single SaaS CRM table to facilitate synchronization, and a status indicator is used to visually and quickly convey status to the mobile user.

SHARING OF DATA SHARE METRICS TO CUSTOMERS

Provided herein are systems and methods to provide a way to share metrics regarding shared data access and accesses associated with data providers for different data listings of the data exchange. For example, the method may comprise detecting one or more client interactions with a set of data listings of a data exchange, the set of data listings associated with one or data providers. The method may further comprise collecting metrics corresponding to the one or more client interactions. In addition, the method may share metrics relevant to the one or more data providers with the one or more data providers.

REDUCING REDUNDANCY IN SYNCHRONOUS REPLICATION OF METADATA WITH A JOURNAL LOG

A method of performing synchronous replication from a primary storage system apparatus (PSSA) to a secondary storage system apparatus (SSSA) is provided. The method includes (a) in response to write requests received by the PSSA, (i) calculating metadata changes by the PSSA for accommodating the write requests, (ii) generating, by the PSSA, metadata journal log entries that describe the metadata changes, and (iii) mirroring the metadata journal log entries from the PSSA to the SSSA; (b) regenerating the metadata changes by the SSSA based on the metadata journal log entries mirrored from the PSSA to the SSSA; and (c) writing the regenerated metadata changes to persistent storage of the SSSA. A method performed by the SSSA is also provided. An apparatus, system, and computer program product for performing similar methods are also provided.
